Bu bileşiklerde delokalize ?-elektron sistemi bulunduğundan çok ilginç fiziksel ve kimyasal özellikler gösterirler ve pek çok metal ile kompleks verirler. Ftalosiyaninler porfirinler ile benzer özellikler gösterirler. Porfirinler klorofil a, hemoglobin gibi yapılar olup doğada hazır olarak bulunur. Ftalosiyaninler ise sentetik maddelerdir. Bu çalışmada, eksenel konumlarda fonksiyonel grupların olduğu maddeler sentezlenmiştir. Silisyum ftalosiyanin diklorür ve tropin, NaH varlığında, kuru toluende 24 saat boyunca azot atmosferi altında reaksiyona sokulmuştur. Elde edilen 3 bileşiği dimetil sülfat aşırısı eklenerek kuaternize 3Q bileşiği sentezlenmiştir. 3 bileşiğinin aşırı 1,3-propandisulton ile reaksiyona sokulmasıyla da zwitter iyonik 3Z elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen bileşikler UV-Vis, FT-IR, 1H NMR, floresans ve kütle spektroskopi (MALDI-TOF metodu kullanılmıştır-matriks dihidroksibenzoik asittir) teknikleri ile karakterize edilmişlerdir. Floresans DNA-Pc titrasyonları sentezlenen bileşiklerin Kb değerlerini vermektedir. Ticari olarak satın alınan DNA boyası SYBR-GOLD ile yapılan floresans ölçümleri ise maddelerin DNA?nın yeni maddelerden birini veya SYBR boyasını tercih edip etmediğini göstermektedir ve Ksv değerlerini vermektedir. Ayrıca maddeler ışık ile uyarılarak singlet oksijen üretip üretmedikleri tespit edilmiştir., Phthalocyanine is an intensely blue-green colored aromatic macrocyclic compound that is widely used in dyeing. Phthalocyanines exhibit fascinating physical properties which arise from their delocalized ?- electronic structure and they form coordination complexes with most metals. Phthalocyanines are structurally related to other macrocyclic pigments, especially the porphyrins. The pyrrole-like rings within H2Pc are closely related to isoindole. Porphyrins exist in nature such as chlorophyll and hemoglobin, but phthalocyanines are totally synthetic substances. In this work, silicon phthalocyanine (SiPc) compounds were synthesized having functional groups in axial positions. For this purpose, unsubstituted dichlorosilicon phthalocyanine and tropine react in the presence of NaH in dry toluene for 24 h under nitrogen atmosphere. The obtained compound 3 is quaternized with excess dimethyl sulfate to obtain the quarternary compound 3Q. For the synthesis of the zwitterionic SiPc 3Z, 3 and excess 1,3-propanedisultone were reacted in dry DMF for 24h under nitrogen atmosphere. The structures of these compounds were characterized by using UV-Vis, FT-IR, 1H NMR, fluorescence and mass spectrometric (MALDI-TOF method- dihydroxybenzoic acid as matrix) techniques. Fluorescence DNA-Pc titration spectra and, quenching fluorescence spectra of SYBR-DNA complex were used to determine Kb binding constants and Ksv Stern-Volmer constants, respectively.
