The current research focused on examining the effect of a coating made from Balangu seed mucilage (TSM-BM) and gelatin (Ge), with varying concentrations of dill essential oil (DEO) (0 %, 1 %, and 2 %) and zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO-np) (0 % and 0.5 %), on the quality characteristics of cherries stored at 4 °C over intervals of 0, 4, 7, 11, 18, and 25 days. The study noted that the application of this coating, particularly when combined with DEO and ZnO-np, significantly reduced the rate of changes in several parameters, including weight loss, firmness, titratable acidity, pH, total soluble solids, ascorbic acid, total anthocyanin content, total phenolic content, and antioxidant activity (p˂0.05). During the storage period, the skin color of all treated fruits darkened. Significant reductions were also observed in the values of L∗, Chroma, and hue angle, with the coating slowing these changes (p˂0.05). The BM-Ge coating's gas barrier properties contributed to a lower respiration rate in coated fruits than in uncoated controls, thereby delaying spoilage. The coating effectively prevented moisture loss from the stem and reduced browning over time. The incorporation of DEO into the BM-Ge coating enhanced its moisture barrier capabilities due to DEO's hydrophobic properties. BM-Ge coating containing 2 % DEO and 0.5 % ZnO-np was able to reduce changes of weight loss, firmness, titratable acidity, ascorbic acid, total soluble solids, total anthocyanin content, total phenolic content, and antioxidant activity by 71.23 %, 88.84 %, 60 %, 48.39 %, 30.05 %, 82.65 %, 50.77 %, and 55.46 % respectively. A significant correlation was also observed between the treated fruits' physical, chemical, and visual qualities.

The current research utilized visual characteristics obtained from RGB images and qualitative characteristics to investigate changes in surface defects, predict physical and chemical characteristics, and classify sweet cherries during storage. It was achieved with the help of ANN (Artificial Neural Network) and ANFIS (Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System) models. The ANN used in this study was a Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) with SigmoidAxon and TanhAxon threshold functions, trained with the Momentum training function. Additionally, ANFIS with a Mamdani system and Triangle, Gauss, and Trapezoidal membership functions, was employed to predict sweet cherries' physical and chemical properties and their quality classification. Both models incorporate four algorithms. Additionally, the algorithms use color statistical features and color texture features combined with physical and chemical properties, including weight loss, firmness, titratable acidity, and total anthocyanin content. The image color and texture characteristics were used by ANN and ANFIS models to predict physical and chemical properties with high accuracy. ANN and ANFIS models accurately estimate sweet cherry quality grades in all four algorithms with over 90 % accuracy. According to the findings, the ANN and ANFIS models have demonstrated satisfactory performance in the qualitative classification and prediction of sweet cherries' physical and chemical properties.

Water quality characteristics play a crucial role in water resources management, watershed health assessment, and implementing effective management strategies. The objective of this research was to present an overall assessment of the surface water quality in the Gorganrood River Basin to be utilized for developing effective watershed management plans and programs. Various physicochemical water quality data including main anions and cations, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Electrical Conductivity (EC), Sodium Absorption Ratio (SAR), pH, and total hardness recorded at 25 hydrometric stations across the basin were analyzed and assessed with the Canadian (CCME) Water Quality Index. The mean water quality index for drinking, agriculture, and industrial purposes indicated that headwaters and higher areas generally exhibited better water quality compared to the downstream areas of the basin. Geochemical processes and the introduction of various pollutants during water flow from the headwaters to the basin outlet contribute to a decline in water quality. The highest water quality was observed in the Kabudval and Shirabad stations, whereas the Baghesalian station exhibited the lowest. For drinking water use, hardness, bicarbonate, and chloride were identified as variables contributing to water quality decline in the headwaters and upstream areas. However, these areas predominantly maintained a moderate to good quality for drinking purposes. Conversely, downstream areas experienced a significant deterioration in water quality with higher pollutant levels such as total dissolved solids (TDS), sulfate, and sodium, resulting in relatively poor to poor conditions. Approximately 60% of the stations in the basin had excellent water quality for agricultural use, with no limiting factors. Only three stations near the basin's outlet exhibited relatively poor to poor water quality due to elevated chloride levels, sodium adsorption ratio (SAR), and electrical conductivity. only 28% of hydrometric stations demonstrated good water quality for industrial use. Hardness, pH, and TDS are the main variables contributing to water quality decline for industrial use in the upstream, while downstream areas are impacted by chloride and sulfate. The outcomes of this study hold significant implications for effective water resources management, watershed preservation, and natural resource conservation in the Gorganrood basin. From industry and especially health aspects, however, more detailed investigations are needed, taking into account some other important variables of water quality (including nitrate, total coliform, fecal coliform, etc.).

Silicides with potential to form a protective silica layer have garnered considerable attention as engineering ceramic materials. This research investigates the influence of initial composition and mechanical activation on the synthesis performance and microstructure of products in the Ti–Si–Mo system. Several compositions, including Ti8Mo29Si63, Ti15Mo25Si60, Ti22Mo22Si56, Ti40Mo12Si48, Ti52Mo6Si42, Ti62.5Si37.5, and Mo33Si67, were prepared and synthesized via mechanically activated self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (MASHS). XRD, SEM, and EDS analyses, along with related investigations such as grain size calculations and morphology studies, were performed. The results indicate that at low Ti concentrations, the composite contains (Ti0.8,Mo0.2)Si2 and MoSi2, whereas moderate Ti concentrations enable the formation of the MoSi2–Ti5Si3 composite. Moreover, a high amount of Mo can extensively dissolve into the titanium and titanium silicide structure, resulting in the synthesis of the (Ti,Mo)5Si3 phase in Ti-rich samples. The dissolution of Mo in the crystal structure of the compound decreases the lattice parameters of titanium silicide. Furthermore, mechanical activation facilitates the initiation of reactions in compositions with lower Ti content and yielding fine-grained products.

In recent decades, climate change and drought have led to an increase in groundwater use in the world. In Iran, due to being in the global dry belt and also the impact of climate change, reduced rainfall and surface water, excessive use of groundwater, the amount of this valuable resource has decreased. According to groundwater changes which have led to aquifer storage reduction, aquifers’ evaluation is necessary. In this study, Haraz alluvial fan, located in the north of Iran, was studied using GMS software, MODFLOW and MT3DMS models to simulate groundwater quantity and quality, respectively. . MODFLOW is considered an international standard for simulating and predicting groundwater conditions and groundwater/surface-water interactions. MT3DMS can be used to simulate changes in concentrations of miscible contaminants in groundwater considering advection, dispersion, diffusion and some basic chemical reactions, with various types of boundary conditions. The results of the MODFLOW model showed maximum water level in the southern part of the alluvial fan with 125.07 m and lowest in the northern part, adjacent to the Caspian Sea coast with -17.52 m. Also on MT3DMS model output which was prepared based on Cl concentration, maximum amount of this agent is 297.17 mg/lit in the East and the North-West of the study area. Management policy applied was utilization of the alluvial fan aquifer within 2020 as much as previous year. Model predictions indicated that water level in piezometers increased 0.75 m during 2021 and the maximum amount of Cl concentration remain unchanged. According to the results,

Background: The production of bovine theileriosis vaccine involves in vitro cultivation of Theileria annulata schizont-infected cell lines. Fetal bovine serum (FBS) is commonly used in animal cell culture, including the Theileria cell line. However, we aimed to reduce the amount of serum needed for cell culture by modifying the Stoker culture medium with supplements such as excretion factor and serum substitutes. Methods: To evaluate the effectiveness of these modifications, techniques such as cell counting, cell viability assays, and genomic analysis were employed in the Parasitic Vaccines Production Department of Razi institute of Iran, from 2020 to 2022. Statistical analysis was used to compare the results of different experimental conditions. Results: The three experimental media were as effective as the commonly used 10% Stoker medium in supporting the growth and viability of cells. Conclusion: The significant reduction in the required amount of serum and the remarkable cell growth achieved by using defined serum replacements for the production of cell culture media is a significant step towards the preparation of a proper cell culture medium for the production of bovine Theileriosis vaccine.

Introduction: The brachial plexus is the largest and most complex nerve network in the body, which is formed in the neck and enters the axillary cavity after passing under the clavicle. So far, many variations have been reported in the brachial network, which are clinically important. The plexus has three cords, one of which is the medial cord. The medial cutaneous nerve of the arm and the medial cutaneous nerve of the forearm are the branches of the medial cord that innervate the skin of the medial surface of the arm and forearm, respectively. In this study, a rare variation was observed in the branches of the medial cord of the brachial plexus during the dissection of the upper limb of an approximately 80-year-old man in the Dissection Hall of Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences, Yazd, Iran. Thus, in normal condition, there is no connection between the medial cutaneous nerve of the arm and the medial cutaneous nerve of the forearm, and each of them innervates the skin of the medial arm and forearm separately, but in this case, these two nerves are connected. And since knowing this type of variation is very important for surgeons, more studies are needed to determine its prevalence in the population.

Global concern about human health and the increase the prevalence of chronic diseases in recent years lead to growing appeals for nutritious and healthy compounds, such as coenzyme Q10. Susceptibility to heat and lipophilic properties of coenzyme Q10 limit its utilization in food. Encapsulation is a technology that protects bioactive ingredients from harsh environmental conditions and extends shelf life. The purpose of this study was to encapsulate coenzyme Q10 using complex coacervation by gelatin–basil seed mucilage and characterize physical, thermal and chemical properties of produced microcapsules. Response surface methodology was applied to determine the optimum level of the four formulation variables for maximum encapsulation efficiency, loading capacity and turbidity and minimum supernatant absorption. The optimum microcapsules had encapsulation efficiency of 83.69%, encapsulation load of 16.32%, turbidity of 0.979 and supernatant absorption of 0.227. The microcapsules were assessed by scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and differential scanning calorimetry. The results of FTIR confirmed the formation of coacervates. The thermogram of Q10 loaded microcapsule melting point was not observed at its melting point (50°C) due to its solubility in the oil phase and appropriate entrapment. Release behavior of Q10 was studied by different mathematical models. Microencapsulated Q10 was used to fortify milk and the results showed that the developed protein-carbohydrate microcapsules can be applied for protection of hydrophobic compounds.

Introduction The most important component of wheat proteins is gluten, and the most prominent bonds in gluten are disulfide bonds, which bind glutenin subunits. Therefore, oxidizing and reducing agents with great effects on the thiol-disulfide system of the dough can change the mechanical and rheological properties of the dough. Due to the positive effects of ascorbic acid on the properties of the dough, it is used as a flour improver. To weaken the structure of the dough, reducing agents such as cysteine-L can be used, and by adding organic acids, increasing the specific volume and decreasing the moisture, the pH and hardness are observed in comparison with the control. This study is performed to evaluate the effect of adding reducing compounds, vitamin C and organic acids during the conditioning of wheat and their effect on the yield of the resulting pulp. Materials and Methods First, Physical properties of wheat include: specific density, colorimetry, estimation of grain length, width and thickness, grain hardness, hectoliters, 1000-grain weight, grain moisture, degree of extraction were measured for the tested wheat. Moisture, pH, ash, particle size, fat, protein and zeal number tests were performed on wheat flour. From elementary cleaned and weighed wheat, 13 samples of 240 g each were weighed separately and poured into plastic bottles. One sample was conditioned with only 30 ml of distilled water and the other 12 samples were conditioned with the following solutions, respectively: 1- Cysteine solution at three levels of 0.25, 0.5 and 0.75% by weight 2- Citric acid solution in three levels of 0.3, 0.4 and 0.5% by weight Vitamin C solution in three levels of 100, 150 and 200 ppm 4- solution of 80 ppm vitamin C and 0.1% cysteine, solution of 100 ppm vitamin C and 0.2% cysteine, solution of 120 ppm vitamin C and 0.3% cysteine After 24 hours, the conditioned wheat samples were milled by a laboratory waltz mill, and then subsequent tests including gluten, sulfhydryl-disulfide, glutathione, and solvent retention capacity (SRC) were performed on the samples. Statistical analysis was performed using SAS statistical software in a randomized complete block design. Each measurement was performed in at least three replications and the means were compared at 95% confidence level with the least significant difference in LSD. Results and Discussion The results of physical tests on wheat grain and chemical tests on flour obtained by milling the wheat samples without adding additives during conditioning are presented in tables. The results of gluten, glutathione, sulfhydryl-disulfide and solvent storage capacity tests on samples of conditioned wheat flours are also presented. Based on the results of gluten and glutathione test, it was shown that ascorbic acid is oxidizing and strengthening the dough, but cysteine is reducing and weakening the dough. Simultaneous addition of cysteine and ascorbic acid strengthened the dough, adding citric acid to certain level strengthened the dough as exhibited in the gluten test. However, byond that level, weakened the dough, but in the glutathione test it was almost ineffective. The results of sulfhydryl-disulfide test showed that increasing the amount of vitamin C at three levels of 100, 150 and 200 ppm increases the number of disulfide bonds, although this increase was not in linear trend, which can be due to the limited number of groups of sulfhydryl with a suitable spatial arrangement for oxidation. Accordingly, the number of sulfhydryl groups is significantly reduced, although it does not reach zero. With the addition of reducing cysteine, the opposite trend was the case, as the number of thiol groups increased, the number of disulfide bonds and bridges decreased. The addition of organic acid had no significant effect on both parameters and showed that the performance of these two variables is independent. By adding both reducing and oxidizing compounds, it was found that the oxidizing effect of vitamin C is far greater than the reducing effect of cysteine. Regarding the solvent retention capacity test performed with 4 solvents of deionized water, 50% sucrose, 5% sodium carbonate and 5% lactic acid, the expected results are that the addition of cysteine has a reducing and weakening effect on the dough, adding vitamin C and cysteine + vitamin C strengthens the dough and the addition of citric acid initially strengthens the dough, but by increasing its level weakens the dough, but this effect is small and can beneglected . The results obtained by comparing the samples conditioned with cysteine, vitamin C, citric acid and cysteine + vitamin C, with the sample conditioned with distilled water in some additive levels matched the expected results, but in some cases did not.

In this paper, we design and develop a brand new application for Persian stock-market chatbot using the retrieval approach namely ChatParse. The proposed architecture for this system consists of the Persian version of the BERT called ParsBERT in which we also add fully-connected and softmax layers to consider the number of classes according to our designed dataset. We manually design an appropriate Persian dataset for bourse application including 17 classes because we have found no Persian corpus for this application. ChatParse is able to have multi-turn conversations with users on the stock-market topic. The performance of the proposed system is evaluated in terms of accuracy, recall, precision, and F1-score on validation set. We also examine our application with test data acquired from users in real time. The average accuracy of the validation set over 17 classes is 68.29% showing the effectiveness of ChatParse as a new Persian Chatbot.
