With the growth of population and the increasing scarcity of water resource, making a good water strategy is more and more important. Seawater desalination is the technology to get fresh water from seawater. We construct a model to estimate the cost of desalinization in 2025 and give some advises about the desalination project.

Author constructed ARIMA model and GARCH model to predict the output power of the 4 wind turbine generators (A, B, C, D) and the total output power of the 4 and 58 wind turbine generators. Whats more, by comparing the results of two methods, it shows that the result of GARCH model is more accurate than ARIMA model in short-term prediction.

In this paper, we study the Pearl River cadmium spill. Based on the reaction diffusion equations, we can monitor the concentration of pollutants any time. We find that in 20 kilometers distance from pollution sources, the concentration of cadmium is high. At last, we improve the model.

This paper studies the exact traveling wave solutions to a model for solid-solid phase transitions driven by configurational forces. The model consists of the partial differential equations of linear elasticity coupled to a quasilinear nonuniformly parabolic equation of second order, which describes the diffusionless phase transitions of solid materials. By using the hyperbolic tangent function expansion method and homogeneous balance method, some exact traveling wave solutions, including solitary wave solutions are obtained for the phase transitions model in one space dimension.

This document demonstrates the finite difference solutions of the Chemotaxis biological model by the finite difference method. Then we establish the convergence and stability of the finite difference solutions by a priori estimations. At last, the numerical results are given.

A class of periodic initial value problems for two-dimensional Newton-Boussinesq equations are investigated in this paper. The Newton-Boussinesq equations are turned into the equivalent integral equations. With iteration methods, the local existence of the solutions is obtained. Using the method of a priori estimates, the global existence of the solution is proved.

A variational approach to reconstruct superresolution image corrupted by Gaussian and salt-andpepper noise is studied. Since the salt-and-pepper noise is the outliers in the image, it is reasonable to regularize the data-fitting term by L1-norm. Full variational approach and two-phase approach for the data-fitting term are considered. To preserve the edges in the restored image, total variation norm is used as the regularization term. Subgradient method is applied to solve the optimization problem. Four difference iterative algorithms are tested and compared.

In this paper, we consider the asymptotic behavior of the solutions for the quantum Zakharov system in one dimension, with the inclusion of phenomenological damping terms in both equations for the envelope electric field and for the density fluctuation. The existence of solutions and attractors are obtained, respectively, in different Sobolev spaces via a prior estimates and the Galerkin method.
