Higher levels of the MHR and other normal inflammatory indicators were found in patients with Gastrointestinal (GI) involvement compared to other subgroups. And in group with GI involvement, significantly higher white blood cell (WBC), neutrophil, complement 4 (C4), NLR (neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio) and PLR (platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio) levels and lower levels of apolipoprotein-a (Apo-a) were observed. Their correlation analysis demonstrated positive results between MHR level and white blood cell (WBC) count (r = 0.416, P = 0.034), D-Dimer (r = 0.464, P = 0.026) and monocyte (r = 0.947, P < 0.001). And the time until first remission of skin purpura was shown positively correlated with their age (r = 0.456, P = 0.043), C-reactive protein (CRP) level (r = 0.641, P = 0.018), D-Dimer level (r = 0.502, P = 0.040) while negatively correlated with albumin (Alb) level (r=− 0.626, P = 0.003) and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) level (r=− 0.478, P = 0.033).Conclusion: Our study suggests that those biomarkers represented for inflammatory responses, lipid profile and immunological functions have significant differences in the subgroups of adult IgAV patients. In addition, we also found that MHR level may serve as a potential biomarker for the pathogenesis and prognosis of IgAV patients with GI involvement.Keywords: monocyte-to-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio, immunoglobulin A vasculitis, endothelial dysfunction, gastrointestinal involvement, inflammation

High heating expenses are observed in numerous Chinese rural houses located in severe cold regions due to the high heating demand, inferior envelope performance and low-efficiency heating equipment. The local traditional heating methods include Chinese Kangs and coal boilers with water-based radiators. The intermittent operation and manual regulation of these systems result in significant temperature differences and inadequate thermal comfort. This study presents the cost-optimal envelope renovation solutions with the minimized lifecycle cost (LCC) during a 20-year discount period and CO2 emissions of annual delivered energy consumptions. A single-family detached rural house in Harbin was used as a case building, illustrating the typical state of comparable houses in this climate context. Simulation-based multi-optimization analysis was conducted in this study using the building simulation tool IDA ICE and its integrated optimization tool AutoMOO. The results indicate that the cost-optimal renovation solutions with intermittent and continuous heating can cut CO2 emissions by 30% and 40%, respectively. The LCC with intermittent heating is still 7% greater than its pre-renovation case, which may require external financial support to encourage the renovation conduction, while the LCC with continuous heating decreased by 8% after renovation. According to the comparison results, cost-optimal solutions have significant advantages in both reductions of LCC and CO2 emissions over standard-based solutions. Moreover, utilizing intermittent heating is more effective than continuous heating in demonstrating the positive impacts of envelope renovation on increasing average temperature, decreasing temperature differences and lowering occupied time at low thermal comfort levels.

In order to prevent the spread of counterfeit and shoddy products, fluorescent fibers from inorganic fluorescent substance and organic materials are continuously being developed. In this paper, a novel method, which was different from spinning method, was presented for preparing fluorescent cellulose fiber (FCF). This method involved modification of cellulose fiber by sodium chloroacetate and self-assembly of cellulose and Eu3+ by coordination interaction. The fluorescence properties, crystallinity, element compositions and microscopic morphology of the fluorescent cellulose fiber were characterized. The preparation mechanism of fluorescent cellulose fiber was explained. The red was presented by the FCF when it was exposed under the ultraviolet at wavelength of 397 nm, which showed its potential application in the field of security. The self-assembled preparation method was expected to be a novel candidate for the preparation of cellulose-based fluorescent fibers.
