In this paper, the certain relation between threshold voltage and flat‐band voltage to improve the image sticking for AMOLED display was investigated. Flat band state generally refers to a state in which the energy bands of each region in an ideal MOSFET system are flattened. However, it is requiring an additional voltage to flatten the energy band for actual MOS systems due to the difference in metal and semiconductor work function, which is called the flat‐band voltage. Anodic alumina with surface of hexagonal patterned nanodots was prepared by a two-step anodizing procedure. Scanning electron microscope and atomic force microscopy results clearly showed the formation of self-organized hexagonal patterned nanostructure. Diameters of the nanodots were controlled by choosing different anodization voltage and types of electrolyte acids. Co/Pt multilayers deposited on the nanodots with different diameters of 20, 70, and 100 nm lead to the formation of magnetic nanostructures with perpendicular anisotropy. Magnetometry and the first-order reversal curve method were used to study the magnetic properties of Co/Pt nanostructures. An out-of-plane magnetic easy axis was observed for the continuous films and the nanodots with diameters of 100 and 70 nm. The magnetic multilayers deposited on 20 nm nanodots appeared to have taken on a hard axis type behavior. The curvature of nanodot arrays induces strong modifications on the magnetic properties of the nanostructures.

Aims: This study aims to establish a population pharmacokinetic (PK) model of teicoplanin in Chinese adult patients to evaluate the dosing regimen in the label sheet and optimize it. Methods: Nonlinear mixed‐effects modelling was used to estimate PK parameters. Monte Carlo simulations were used to evaluate the attainment of various dosing regimens in achieving the target trough concentrations in patients with normal or decreased renal function. Results: A total of 115 patients were enrolled in this retrospective study. Creatinine clearance (CrCL) and albumin (ALB) were identified as covariates on the clearance of teicoplanin. For the treatment of non‐complicated methicillin‐resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infections in patients with normal renal function and serum ALB concentration, the recommended dosing regimen was 600 mg q12h with five administrations as the loading dose followed by 600 mg qd as the maintenance dose; for the treatment of serious and/or complicated MRSA infections, the recommended dosing regimen was 800 mg q12h with five administrations as the loading dose followed by 800 mg qd as the maintenance dose. It is worth noting that both the loading and maintenance doses ought to be modified based on the patient's renal function and serum ALB concentration. In addition, trough concentrations of teicoplanin were significantly increased every other week. Conclusions: Both loading dosing and maintenance dosing regimens were recommended to be adjusted according to patient's renal function and serum ALB concentration. Sulfonyl chlorides are a class of cheap and readily available basic chemicals, which have routinely served as electrophilic reagents in their chemical transformations. Herein, we disclose a novel PPh3‐mediated nucleophilic sulfonation method of sulfonyl chlorides with arynes. Different from the classical P(III)‐mediated reductive deoxygenation reaction of sulfonyl chlorides, the valence state of the sulfur atom has not been changed. A metal-free method for the dual activation of aryl phosphinate has been developed; the P–H and P–O bonds are sequentially activated by the Tf2O/DMSO system. Without the requirement of metals and unstable P-reagents, this one-pot procedure provides a convenient and practical access to a variety of aryl phosphonates. Aim at developing electrode materials with prominent electrochemical performances for supercapacitor application, flower-like hierarchical nanostructure NiCo2S4 powders (denoted as NCS-1) were synthesized by a facile one-step solvothermal method using the chelating agent of urea. The phase structure, particle morphology, specific surface area, and pore size distribution were examined, as well as the electrochemical properties of the electrodes prepared from the NiCo2S4 powders. In order to tentatively explore the formation mechanism, NiCo2S4 powders (denoted as NCS-2) were also prepared by the same method without urea. Meanwhile, the effect of urea on the structure and electrochemical performances was investigated. The results indicated that the chelating agent of urea played a significant role, coordinating with metal ions initially and releasing them slowly at elevating temperatures to form pure NiCo2S4 compound. The NCS-1 electrodes exhibited a specific capacitance of 2339 F/g under a current density of 1 A/g and a capacitance retention of 56% after 5000 charge–discharge cycles measured at 20 A/g. The excellent electrochemical performances demonstrate that the flower-like NiCo2S4 is a promising candidate for supercapacitor electrode. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

We investigated changes in the intestinal flora of children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia (MPP). Between September 2019 and November 2019, stool samples from 14 children with MPP from The Fourth Hospital of Baotou city, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, were collected and divided into general treatment (AF) and probiotic (AFY) groups, according to the treatment of "combined Bifidobacterium, Lactobacillus, Enterococcus, and Bacillus cereus tablets live". High-throughput 16S rDNA sequencing was used to identify intestinal flora. Intestinal flora abundance and diversity in children with MPP were decreased. Both Shannon and Simpson indices were lower in the AF group when compared with healthy controls (P < 0.05). When compared with healthy controls, the proportion of Enterorhabdus was lower in the AF group, while the proportion of Lachnoclostridium was higher (P < 0.05). The proportion of Bifidobacteria and Akkermansia was lower in the AFY group but Enterococcus , Lachnoclostridium , Roseburia, and Erysipelatoclostridium proportions were higher. The proportion of Escherichia coli – Shigella in the AFY group after treatment was decreased (P < 0.05). The intestinal flora of children with MPP is disturbed, manifested as decreased abundance and diversity, and decreased Bifidobacteria. Aims: Data regarding clinical pharmacokinetic/toxicodynamic (PK/TD) of polymyxin B is short of direct quantitative data. This study aims to investigate the risk factors of polymyxin B associated acute kidney injury (AKI) and to assess the relationship between polymyxin B plasma levels and its nephrotoxicity. Methods: A retrospective study was performed in adult patients treated with polymyxin B. Risk factors associated with AKI and plasma trough concentrations of polymyxin B were identified via medical record review. A multivariate logistic regression model was established and the risk of polymyxin B‐associated AKI were predicted by a receiver operating characteristic curve, with maximal Youden index used to identify safety thresholds among the study population. Results: Fifty‐four adult patients were included in the study. AKI was detected in 14 patients during polymyxin B treatment (25.9%, 14 out of 54). Cmin (odds ratio [OR] 2.071; 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.235–3.472) and baseline serum creatinine (OR 1.024; 95% CI 1.005–1.043) were significant independent risk factors for developing AKI. The area under the ROC curve of the combined predictor was larger based on the above factors. When the Youden index was at maximum, the optimal cut‐off point was 6.678 of the ROC curve. When Cmin ≥ 3.13 mg/L, the probability of AKI was more than 50%. Conclusion: In this study, when the calculated combined predictor value was >6.678, there was an increased risk of AKI. Maintaining a polymyxin B Cmin level below 3.13 mg/L may be helpful in reducing the incidence of polymyxin B associated nephrotoxicity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The aim of this study is to investigate the macrolide resistance rate and molecular type with multiple-locus variable-number tandem-repeat analysis (MLVA) of Mycoplasma pneumoniae of Beijing in 2016 in pediatric patients. Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was used to identify M. pneumoniae, and MLVA was performed. The domain V of the 23S rRNA was sequenced to detect macrolide-resistant point mutations. We also investigated the activities of antibiotics against M. pneumoniae isolates in vitro. The PCR detection rate of M. pneumoniae in children in Beijing was 40%, and the macrolide resistance rate was 66%. The A2063G mutation in the 23S rRNA V region is the dominant mutation (137/146, 93.84%), whereas the A2064G mutation is rare (9/146, 6.16%). Seventy-three samples were typed successfully by MLVA typing, including 86.3% (63/73) were MLVA type 4-5-7-2, and 13.7% (10/73) were MLVA type 3-5-6-2. No other types were found. No strains were resistant to levofloxacin or tetracycline. In 2016, a specific decrease in the macrolide resistance rate occurred in Beijing. The detection rate and macrolide resistance rate of outpatients are lower than those of inpatients. The A2063G mutants M. pneumoniae have high levels of resistance to erythromycin and azithromycin. The primary MLVA type is 4-5-7-2, followed by 3-5-6-2. No other MLVA types were detected. No strains resistant to tetracycline or levofloxacin were found in vitro. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Based on the 74 circulation indexes provided by National Climate Center of China (NCC) and the 24 indexes compiled by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) of the US, the study used the C4.5 algorithm in data mining to establish a decision tree prediction model to predict whether the spring persistent rains (SPR) of 55 years (from 1961 to 2015) is more than the normal, and obtained 5 rules to determine whether the SPR is more than the normal. The accuracy rate of the test set, namely "whether the SPR is more than the normal", is 98.18%. After the evaluation of the model by conducting ten 10-fold cross validations to take the average value, the test accuracy rate gained is 84%. There are differences between the three types of years with a SPR more than the normal when it comes to intensity and distribution. In spring, they have respective anomalous 850hPa monthly mean wind fields and water-vapor flux distribution, and 700hPa forms the zone where tire vertical speed is anomalously negative. As indicated by the results, the SPR prediction model based on the C4.5 algorithm has a high prediction accuracy rate, the model is reasonably and effectively constructed, and the decision rules take comprehensive factors into consideration. The anomalous rainfall and circulation distribution characteristics obtained based on tire decision classification results provide new ideas and methods for the prediction of SPR. The low melt strength and poor crystallization behavior severely limit the processing and application of poly(lactic acid) (PLA) as biodegradable film materials. In this work, three-arm poly(L-lactic acid) (3A-PLLA) grafted silica nanoparticles with two kinds of topology structures were introduced into PLA matrix to improve the biodegradation performance. Different methods were used to characterize the structure of the grafted 3A-PLLA chains, the grafting density, and the thermal decomposition behavior of the nanoparticles. By varying the mass ratios of raw materials and altering the order of dropping solution in the reaction, high grafting densitytangled 3A-PLLA grafted SiO2 was synthesized as "3A-PLLA grafting to SiO2" (GTS), while low grafting density-stretched 3A-PLLA grafted SiO2 was obtained as "SiO2 grafting to 3A-PLLA" (GTA). Topology of nanoparticles as well as the filler-matrix interaction is critically important to structure bio-nanocomposites with desirable properties. Thus, the GTS and GTA nanoparticles were introduced into PLA matrix to assess the effect. The SEM images showed the uniform dispersion of the modified nanoparticles, while the shear rheology results revealed that GTA nanoparticles made a more significant contribution on the melt-strengthening and relaxation time-extension of PLA. Moreover, it is suggested that GTA nanoparticles were more effective to act as a nucleating agent for PLA, which was proved by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and polarized optical microscopy (POM) researches. All of the improvements mentioned above of GTA nanocomposites can be ascribed to stronger entanglements between 3A-PLLA stretched by nano-SiO2 and PLA matrix. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
