This article discusses the results of the study reflecting the mechanism of evaluation of companies to enter the system of Smart Cities, based on a generalized indicator of ESG-rating, which will identify companies that comply with the principles of sustainable development and their entry into the system of Smart Cities will lead to accelerated development of the entire system.

A scientific approach to the assessment of trends in land changes based on the novel concept of Land Degradation Neutrality (LDN) was applied to monitor the sustainability of irrigated farmlands in test areas in Uzbekistan (the Andijan, Namangan, Fergana, and Syrdarya regions). The tool “Trends.Earth”, which was recommended by the UN Convention to Combat Desertification and developed as a special plugin for the Quantum GIS platform, was used to describe the dynamics of land degradation in the period 2001–2020. This study demonstrates the results of monitoring land productivity dynamics that reflect the investments in irrigation improvement during the last 10–15 years. A comparison between changes in land productivity measured via Normalized Difference Vegetation Index and its average value for the entire observation period is more informative than comparison with the initial 5-year period. More details could be noted through application of the “moving average” calculation method. The described trends demonstrate that the use of sustainable land management practices in the last decade led to a decreasing proportion of degraded lands compared to the average figure for the period 2001–2020 (from 25–40% to 10–20%). This trend is confirmed by reviewing state statistics and indicates the success of national policies and approaches to adaptation. However, the dynamics of land productivity in the study areas is diverse and includes “dry” and “humid” extremes, depending on climate fluctuations. Despite the generally positive trends identified across regions, the high dynamics of degraded hotspots and improved lands within certain areas confirm the instability of ongoing changes.

The relevance of the studied problem is substantiated by the need for implementation of management of process of adaptation of young teachers for the general education organization and insufficient readiness of theoretical, substantial, technological, scientific, and methodical aspects of management of process of adaptation of young teachers in the course of pedagogical activity. In this regard, we reviewed development, approbation and management of the educational project on adaptation of young teachers in the general education organization in this article. Questions of definition and creation of organizational and pedagogical conditions of management of the educational project on adaptation of young teachers at school are considered. The efficiency of the created and introduced organizational and pedagogical conditions is considered by authors through a prism of key functional fields of project management. The purpose of article consists in the description of implementation of the project on adaptation of young teachers in the general education organization and experimental check of management efficiency of it based on the developed matrix of works on formation of organizational and pedagogical conditions. The main method of a research of this problem is the design allowing considering this problem as the process of purposeful and conscious project management on adaptation of young teachers in the general education organization.

Topic. Economic development along with an increase in the number of companies leads to the growth of the number of economic (financial) crimes, including various types of fraud. The activities of many companies are currently aimed at identifying the facts of such fraud, in this connection there is a need for a forensic service. The article explores a new concept of “forensic” that is poorly studied both in Russian and foreign economies but is gaining popularity among people engaged in the economic sphere, as the number of economic crimes increases. The study of the concept was conducted with the aim of introducing the term into scientific circulation and contributing to correct understanding of its meaning. The definitions of the concepts “forensic” and “financial investigation” offered in the scientific literature by modern authors are presented. The main features that distinguish forensic from such forms of control as revision and examination are examined and analyzed. The list of forensic services offered by audit and consulting companies is presented and the directions of their implementation of the forensic service are described. Purpose. Complex author’s research of the term “forensic” which is new for Russian practice and represents a new direction in audit together with the study of national and foreign sources of literature to define the concept of forensic. Methodology. The study is based on the application of such methods as comparison, analysis and statistical method. Results. Forensic is one of the promising directions in the economic sphere that exists today and requires knowledge of various subjects: accounting, audit, criminalistics, psychology, sociology and some others. Forensic is an independent activity to investigate, analyze and develop procedures to counteract all types of financial fraud. Conclutions. The definition of the concept “forensic” is correlated with the concepts proposed by a number of foreign and domestic authors, but has a more extensive interpretation covering several definitions, which helps to better understand the essence of the new service. Forensic is a promising area of activity in the service sector as every year there is a growing trend of economic crimes.

The experimental study of the Ingavirin® efficacy against the influenza virus A (H5N1) on intranasally-infected albino mice vs. Tamiflue® and Arbidol® showed that when used for the prophylaxis, urgent prophylaxis and therapy it was effective in the protec-tiom of the animals from death. The efficient dose for the prophylaxis of the influenza infection was 5 mg/kg (protective efficacy of 46.7%) and for the urgent prophylaxis and therapy it was 15 mg/kg (protective efficacy of 40.0 and 35.0% respectively).

The paper focuses on the major problems arising during the application of occupational standards in the process of training economists, including specialists in housing and public utilities (HPU), at universities. It reveals the main contradictions and presents a classification of problems that surface while applying occupational standards. The authors propose an algorithm of actions to follow when introducing occupational standards in a higher education institution; examine the problem of applying occupational standards in the context of training bachelors and masters in economics and housing and public utilities management; and show that the HPU industry suffers from a lack of methodical literature on using the requirements of the occupational standard in working training programmes. Based on the current regulatory legal acts and expert interviews, the staff of the Ural State University of Economics have developed relevant curricula of bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes. The study finds that the industry representatives are not ready to cooperate with universities in the development of specialized curricula due to a poor understanding by the professional community of the need to upgrade the skills of personnel in order to bring them in line with the requirements of occupational standards.

New radical-cation salts based on tetramethyltetrathiafulvalene (TMTTF) and tetramethyltetraselenefulvalene (TMsTSF) with metallacarborane anions (TMTTF)[3,3′-Cr(1,2-C2B9H11)2], (TMTTF)[3,3′-Fe(1,2-C2B9H11)2], and (TMTSF)2[3,3′-Cr(1,2-C2B9H11)2] were synthesized by electrocrystallization. Their crystal structures were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction, and their electrophysical properties in a wide temperature range were studied. The first two salts are dielectrics, while the third one is a narrow-gap semiconductor: σRT = 5 × 10−3 Ohm−1cm−1; Ea ≈ 0.04 eV (aprox. 320 cm−1).

In this paper we present a synthetic approach to six new D–π–A–D conjugated chromophores containing the N-[ω-(4-methoxyphenoxy)alkyl]carbazole fragment. Such readily functionalizable heterocycle as carbazole was used as a main starting compound for their preparation. The investigation of the optical properties has shown that the positive solvatochromism is inherent to the chromophores containing an electron-withdrawing prop-2-en-1-one fragment, while the compounds containing a 2-aminopyrimidine moiety exhibit both positive and negative solvatochromism. The fluorescence quantum yields were experimentally determined for some of the synthesized chromophores; e.g., 1-(5-arylthiophen-2-yl)ethanones quantum yields were found to lie in an interval of 60–80%. Electrochemical oxidation of the synthesized chromophores has resulted in the formation of colored thin oligomeric films that became possible due to the presence of carbazole or pyrrole fragments with free electron-rich positions.
