Two 1D Co(ii) coordination polymers constructed by mixed terpyridine–dicarboxylate bridges were structurally and magnetically characterized to show slow magnetic relaxation, distinct chain topologies, and magnetic anisotropy tuned by dicarboxylates.

A series of flume experiments were conducted to study the hydraulic characteristics, sediment siltation mechanisms against different layouts of flexible mattresses that are gaining prominence over the traditional mattresses that are rigid and anti-scouring. The optimal layout pattern of interlacement and spacing 15 cm was found with an ecological effect of a comfortable hydraulic environment (water resistance rate of near bottom of 63%) and a proper deposition thickness (relative siltation thickness of 0.06). The ecological cavity mattress was successfully applied to the lower reach of Yangtze River in China. A stable and effective deposited layer (grain size of 25.21– 48.29 μm) was formed, which was exactly coincident to the laboratory experiment results, and where were found some organic matters (organic matter content of 1.77% ~ 3.68%) and a few of benthic fauna (abundance of 85ind./m2 and biomass of 0.62 g/m2 in flood season). A comfortable hydraulic environment was created in the inner structure in both the flood and drought seasons, just as the flume experiment presented. The sediment constituent and organic matter quantity in the inner structure were also relatively stable. Obviously, the new ecological cavity mattress exerts a positive ecological effect in the river ecosystem rehabilitation, which can be put into extensive use. In addition, design concept and optimization procedure of the new structure in this paper could also provide some reference for other relevant studies.

The effect of ultraviolet (UV) exposure on the electrical properties of nematic liquid crystal (LC) doped with TiO 2 nanoparticles was investigated. The low-frequency dielectric data indicate that the ion-trapping ability of TiO 2 descends under UV exposure and that it gradually revives after the removal of the UV light. The voltage holding ratio of the TiO 2 -doped LC cells, which decreased from 71% to 43% by 2-mW/cm 2 UV irradiation for 60 min, remarkably recovered to 61% within 180 min. The proposed LC/TiO 2 suspension holds promise for the use of outdoor LC devices characterized by regained excellence in electrical performance after UV exposure.

In this paper, the algorithm for the stepless tunable four-chip LED on the black body radiation curve, using the Generalized Reduced Gradient method, is proposed. The lumen outputs of four-chip LED, for color temperatures between 2500K and 6500K, are then calculated in real-time, without using a lookup table, and for high quality lighting design.

In this paper, a prototype of AC LED light engine is implemented. This light engine is highly designed and integrated with different fields, including optical, mechanical, electrical part, control system, and safety requirement. Our light engine can directly install in different lighting fixtures like down light or spot light, which is very convenient and cost-saving for luminaries manufactures. It also can offer customized solutions about CCT, beam angle, even involved intelligent control system in the future. The specification of light engine is that the CCT is 4601K, CRI is 81, and the lm/W is 102 at 10W input power.

In this paper, we obtain some stable Poisson Convergence Theorems for arrays of integer-valued dependent random variables. We prove that the limiting distribution is a mixture of Poisson distribution when the conditional second moments on a given $\sigma$-algebra of the sequence converge to some positive random variable. Moreover, we apply the main results to the indicator functions of rowise interchangeable events and obtain some interesting stable Poisson convergence theorems.
