ABSTRACT Alternaria alternata is a ubiquitous soil-borne fungus capable of causing diseases in a variety of plants and occasionally in humans. While populations of A. alternata from infected plants have received significant attention, relatively little is known about its soil populations, including its population genetic structure and antifungal susceptibilities. In addition, over the last two decades, greenhouses have become increasingly important for food and ornamental plant production throughout the world, but how greenhouses might impact microbial pathogens such as A. alternata populations remains largely unknown. Different from open crop fields, greenhouses are often more intensively cultivated, with each greenhouse being a relatively small and isolated space where temperature and humidity are higher than surrounding environments. Previous studies have shown that greenhouse populations of two common molds, Aspergillus fumigatus and A. alternata, within a small community in southwestern China were variably differentiated. However, the relative contribution of physical separation among local greenhouses to the large-scale population structure remains unknown. Here, we isolated strains of A. alternata from seven greenhouses in Shijiazhuang, northeast China. Their genetic diversity and triazole susceptibilities were analyzed and compared with each other and with 242 isolates from nine greenhouses in Kunming, southwest China. Apple replant disease (ARD), caused by Fusarium pathogens, is a formidable threat to the renewal of apple varieties in China, necessitating the development of effective and sustainable control strategies. In this study, the bacterial strain BA-4 was isolated from the rhizosphere soil of healthy apple trees in a replanted orchard, demonstrating a broad-spectrum antifungal activity against five crucial apple fungal pathogens. Based on its morphology, physiological and biochemical traits, utilization of carbon sources, and Gram stain, strain BA-4 was tentatively identified as Bacillus amyloliquefaciens. Phylogenetic analysis using 16S rDNA and gyrB genes conclusively identified BA-4 as B. amyloliquefaciens. In-depth investigations into B. amyloliquefaciens BA-4 revealed that the strain possesses the capacity to could secrete cell wall degrading enzymes (protease and cellulase), produce molecules analogous to indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) and siderophores, and solubilize phosphorus and potassium. The diverse attributes observed in B. amyloliquefaciens BA-4 underscore its potential as a versatile microorganism with multifaceted benefits for both plant well-being and soil fertility. The extracellular metabolites produced by BA-4 displayed a robust inhibitory effect on Fusarium hyphal growth and spore germination, inducing irregular swelling, atrophy, and abnormal branching of fungal hyphae. In greenhouse experiments, BA-4 markedly reduced the disease index of Fusarium-related ARD, exhibiting protective and therapeutic efficiencies exceeding 80% and 50%, respectively. Moreover, BA-4 demonstrated plant-promoting abilities on both bean and Malus robusta Rehd. (MR) seedlings, leading to increased plant height and primary root length. Field experiments further validated the biocontrol effectiveness of BA-4, demonstrating its ability to mitigate ARD symptoms in MR seedlings with a notable 33.34% reduction in mortality rate and improved biomass. Additionally, BA-4 demonstrates robust and stable colonization capabilities in apple rhizosphere soil, particularly within the 10-20 cm soil layer, which indicates that it has long-term effectiveness potential in field conditions. Overall, B. amyloliquefaciens BA-4 emerges as a promising biocontrol agent with broad-spectrum antagonistic capabilities, positive effects on plant growth, and strong colonization abilities for the sustainable management of ARD in apple cultivation.

Head pose estimation plays a pivotal role in various applications, including augmented reality and human–computer interaction within intelligent museum environments. Head pose estimation conventionally relies on hard labels. However, acquiring the “ground truth” through subjective means introduces an element of uncertainty into the labels for head pose estimation. The introduction of soft labels offers a potential remedy for this uncertainty. However, existing head pose estimation methods based on soft labels neglect the asymmetry of head pose. After careful observation, two types of asymmetry have been identified in human head pose: within angle and between angle asymmetry. Taking these two characteristics into account, we have devised a Double Asymmetric Distribution Learning (DADL) network model for the precise estimation of head pose angles. This model employs distinct soft label distribution mechanisms to capture within-angle and between-angle nuances in head pose variations. Thereby enhancing the interpretability, generalization capability, and classification accuracy of head pose estimation models. Extensive experiments were conducted on various widely recognized benchmarks, including the AFLW2000 and BIWI datasets. The results substantiate substantial advantages of our model over conventional approaches.

Core analysis is an accurate and direct method for finding the physical properties of oil and natural gas reservoirs. However, in some cases coring is time consuming and difficult, and only cuttings with the drilling fluid can be obtained. It is important to determine whether cuttings can adequately represent formation properties such as porosity, permeability, and pore size distribution (PSD). In this study, seven limestone samples with different sizes were selected (Cubes: 4 × 4 × 4 cm, 4 × 4 × 2 cm, 4 × 2 × 2 cm and 2 × 2 × 2 cm, Core: diameter of 2.5 cm and a length of 5 cm, Cuttings: 1–1.7 mm and 4.7–6.75 mm in diameter), and low-field nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) measurements were performed on these samples to obtain porosity, PSD, and permeability. The results showed that the porosity of cubes and cuttings with different sizes are consistent with cores, which is about 1%. Whereas the PSDs and permeabilities of the two cutting samples (less than in size 6.75 mm) differ significantly within cores. It is suggested that interparticle voids and mechanical pulverization during sample preparation have a negligible effect on porosity and a larger effect on PSD and permeability. Combined with factors such as wellbore collapse and mud contamination suffered in the field, it is not recommended to use cuttings with a particle size of less than 6.75 mm to characterize actual extra-low porosity and extra-low permeability formation properties.

By virtue of its narrow pulse width and high peak power, the femtosecond pulsed laser can achieve high-precision material modification, material additive or subtractive, and other forms of processing. With additional good material adaptability and process compatibility, femtosecond laser-induced application has achieved significant progress in flexible electronics in recent years. These advancements in the femtosecond laser fabrication of flexible electronic devices are comprehensively summarized here. This review first briefly introduces the physical mechanism and characteristics of the femtosecond laser fabrication of various electronic microdevices. It then focuses on effective methods of improving processing efficiency, resolution, and size. It further highlights the typical progress of applications, including flexible energy storage devices, nanogenerators, flexible sensors, and detectors, etc. Finally, it discusses the development tendency of ultrashort pulse laser processing. This review should facilitate the precision manufacturing of flexible electronics using a femtosecond laser.

Facial expression recognition (FER) task in the wild is challenging due to some uncertainties, such as the ambiguity of facial expressions, subjective annotations, and low-quality facial images. A novel model for FER in-the-wild datasets is proposed in this study to solve these uncertainties. The overview of the proposed method is as follows. First, the facial images are grouped into high and low uncertainties by the pre-trained network. The graph convolutional network (GCN) framework is then used for the facial images with low uncertainty to obtain geometry cues, including the relationship among action units (AUs) and the implicit connection between AUs and expressions, which help predict the probability of the underlying emotional label. The emotion label distribution is produced by combining the predicted latent label probability and the given label. For the facial images with high uncertainty, k-nearest neighbor graphs are built to determine the k facial images in the low uncertainty group with the highest similarity to the given facial image. The emotion label distribution of the given image is then replaced by fusing the emotion label distribution based on the distances between the given image and its adjacent images. Finally, the constructed emotion label distribution facilitates training in a straightforward manner using a convolutional neural network framework to identify facial expressions. Experimental results on RAF-DB, FERPlus, AffectNet, and SFEW2.0 datasets demonstrate that the proposed method achieved superior performance compared to state-of-the-art approaches.

Chrysopidae (green lacewings) are a cosmopolitan and species-rich family of Neuroptera, with remarkable significance of biological control against various agricultural and forestry pests. However, the phylogenetic position of Chrysopidae in Neuroptera and the internal relationships within the family remain equivocal among previous studies based on different types of data and sampling. Here we sequenced the mitochondrial genomes (mitogenomes) of two species of the genus Ankylopteryx in the chrysopine tribe Ankylopterygini for the first time. The characteristics of these mitogenomes were analyzed in comparison with other green lacewing mitogenomes published to date. In the phylogeny herein reconstructed based on mitogenomes, Chrysopinae were recovered as the sister group to Apochrysinae + Nothochrysinae. Within the subfamily of Chrysopinae, Nothancylini were recovered as the sister group to (Leucochrysini + Belonopterygini) + (Ankylopterygini + Chrysopini). The divergence time estimation suggested an Early Cretaceous initial divergence within the extant Chrysopidae. Within Chrysopinae, the four tribes except Nothancylini diverged around mid-Cretaceous.

The realization of the liquid metal heartbeat effect shows better controllability under non-periodic stimuli than spontaneous oscillation or periodic stimuli. However, adjusting the liquid metal heartbeat performance, drop spreading area, and frequency, solely by the magnitude of the voltage, has great limitations. Here, we demonstrate that the eGaIn drop can beat inside graphite ring electrodes under DC voltage in alkaline solutions on ratchet substrates. These sawtooth structures provide asymmetric textures which influence liquid metal deformation during the beating of the heart. We achieved heartbeat frequencies from 2.7 to 4.8 Hz, a 100% increase in the tunable frequency range compared to that on a flat surface. The oxidative spreading of the eGaIn drop on the ratchet substrate shows that the drop penetrates into the grooves of the sawtooth structure. Moreover, we investigated the physical mechanisms affecting the eGaIn heartbeat frequency and the influence on the spreading area of the eGaIn drop at various sawtooth sizes and orientations. These findings not only enhance our understanding of droplet manipulation on sawtooth-structured surfaces but also facilitate the design of microfluidic pump systems.

Background: Polypoid lesion of gallbladder (PLG) size larger than 10 mm is considered to be one of the surgical indications, but the final pathological results are mostly non-neoplastic polyps. The aim of the study was to define the risk factors to discriminate neoplastic PLG and create more precise criteria for surgical indications. Methods: A large scale, case-series study based on 2704 patients who underwent cholecystectomy for PLG was designed. Logistic regression analysis and receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) was adopted to identify risk factors and the optimal size criteria for predicting neoplastic PLG. Results: Patients in the neoplastic group were significantly older than those in the non-neoplastic group and the average PLG size is much larger in the neoplastic group (18.5 ± 4.7 mm vs 12.6 ± 3.6 mm). Neoplastic PLGs are prone to be single and non-neoplastic polyps are usually multiple. On Multivariate logistic regression analysis, PLG size larger than 15 mm and age older than 43 years were found to be the independent risk factors to discriminate neoplastic PLG （Odds ratio 3.546 and 2.77 respectively）. The ROC curve showed that 12 mm might be the more reasonable PLG size threshold for the surgical suggestion. Conclusions: Considering its moderate diagnostic accuracy, the size of gallbladder polyp larger than 10 mm is insufficient to indicate surgical therapy for PLG and 12 mm should be the more optimal polyp's size threshold. Patients older than 43 years have a higher risk of having neoplastic polyps.

Background Serine protease inhibitor Kazal type I (SPINK1) is highly expressed and promotes tumor progress in different cancers. This study aimed to evaluate SPINK1’s prognostic value and its role in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) progress. Methods We use tissue micro-arrays containing 273 tumor and paired para-tumor tissues to evaluate SPINK1’s prognostic value in HCC. CCK8 cell proliferation assay, wound healing assays, transwell migration and invasion assays were performed to explore the effect of SPINIK1 on HCC cells. The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database and Gene set enrichment analysis (GSEA) were used to verify the prognosis value of SPINK1 in HCC and explore the underlying mechanisms. The citrus orchards in southern China are widely threatened by low soil pH and Huanglongbing (HLB) prevalence. Notably, the lime application has been used to optimize soil pH, which is propitious to maintain root health and enhance HLB tolerance of citrus; however, little is known about the interactive effects of soil acidity on the soil properties and root-associated (rhizoplane and endosphere) microbial community of HLB-infected citrus orchard. In this study, the differences in microbial community structures and functions between the acidified and amended soils in the Gannan citrus orchard were investigated, which may represent the response of the host-associated microbiome in diseased roots and rhizoplane to dynamic soil acidity. Our findings demonstrated that the severity of soil acidification and aluminum toxicity was mitigated after soil improvement, accompanied by the increase in root activity and the decrease of HLB pathogen concentration in citrus roots. Additionally, the Illumina sequencing-based community analysis showed that the application of soil amendment enriched functional categories involved in host-microbe interactions and nitrogen and sulfur metabolisms in the HLB-infected citrus rhizoplane; and it also strongly altered root endophytic microbial community diversity and structure, which represented by the enrichment of beneficial microorganisms in diseased roots. These changes in rhizoplane-enriched functional properties and microbial composition may subsequently benefit the plant's health and tolerance to HLB disease. Overall, this study advances our understanding of the important role of root-associated microbiota changes and ecological factors, such as soil acidity, in delaying and alleviating HLB disease.

Ring rot caused by Botryosphaeria dothidea and anthracnose caused by Colletotrichum gloeosporioides are two important apple fruit diseases. It is critical to conduct timely and accurate distinction and diagnosis of the two diseases for apple disease management and apple quality control. The automatic distinction between the two diseases was investigated based on image processing technology in this study. The acquired disease images were preprocessed via image scaling, color image contrast stretching, and morphological opening and closing reconstruction. Then, two lesion segmentation methods based on circle fitting were proposed and used to conduct lesion segmentation. After comparison with the manual segmentation results obtained via the software Adobe Photoshop CC, Lesion segmentation method 1 was chosen for further disease image processing. The gray images on the nine components in the RGB, HSI, and L*a*b* color spaces of the segmented lesion images were filtered by using multi-scale block local binary pattern operators with the sizes of pixel blocks of 1 × 1, 2 × 2, and 3 × 3, respectively, and the corresponding local binary pattern (LBP) histogram vectors were calculated as the features of the lesion images. Subsequently, support vector machine (SVM) models and random forest models were built based on individual LBP histogram features or different LBP histogram feature combinations for distinguishing the diseases. The optimal SVM model with the distinction accuracies of the training and testing sets equal to 100 and 95.12% and the optimal random forest model with the distinction accuracies of the training and testing sets equal to 100 and 90.24% were achieved. The results indicated that the distinction between the two diseases could be implemented with high accuracy by using the proposed method. In this study, a method based on image processing technology was provided for the distinction of ring rot and anthracnose on apple fruits.

Alternaria leaf blotch caused by Alternaria alternata apple pathotype (Alternaria mali) is an important fungal disease that affects the production of apples worldwide. Mycoviruses harbored in plant pathogenic fungi can confer hypovirulence in their hosts and have attracted widespread attention as potential biocontrol tools. In this study, the coinfection of two mycoviruses, named A. alternata chrysovirus 1 strain QY2 (AaCV1-QY2) and A. alternata magoulivirus 1 (AaMV1), respectively, were isolated from A. alternata f. sp. mali strain QY21. Sequence analyses revealed that AaCV1-QY2 virus belonged to the genus Betachrysovirus and AaMV1 virus belonged to the genus Magoulvirus. These two mycoviruses were found to be associated with hypovirulence in A. alternata, among which AaCV1-QY2 might play a relatively leading role. Because the elimination of AaMV1 from the strain QY21 does not affect the hypovirulence trait, which indicates that the virus AaCV1-QY2 can independently induce slow growth and reduce host virulence. Moreover, the presence of viruses decreased the accumulation of the mycotoxin alternariol (AOH) in A. alternata strains. Intriguingly, AaCV1-QY2/AaMV1 mycoviruses can be horizontally transmitted to other A. alternata strains, and this coinfection can promote the interspecific transmission efficiency of AaCV1-QY2. To our knowledge, this study reports the first description of the member of Chrysovirus is related to hypovirulence in Alternaria spp. that facilitates the development of biocontrol measures of A. mali Roberts.

In this work, we fabricated the antireflection microstructures (ARMs) on ZnSe surfaces using a femtosecond Bessel direct laser writing in burst mode. The morphology and transmittance performance of ARMs with different single-pulse energies (from 200 nJ to 500 nJ), different burst modes (burst 1, 3, and 5 modes), different periods (from 3 μm to 6 μm), and different arrangements were investigated. The results revealed that tetragonally arranged ARMs fabricated by 500 nJ of single-pulse energy, the burst 3 mode, and a period of 3 μm show the best transmittance performance. The average transmittance of the ARMs was about 17.13% higher than that of bulk ZnSe in the range of 8–12 μm, and the highest transmittance of 81.75% (an improvement of 18.63% on one side of the ZnSe) was achieved at 12.36 μm. This process makes it possible to enhance ARMs’ transmittance in the infrared wavelength range by using direct laser writing in burst mode.

Abstract We investigated high energy, near and mid-infrared optical vortex lasers formed by a 1 μm optical vortex-pumped KTiOAsO4 (KTA) optical parametric oscillator. The orbital angular momentum (OAM) of the pump beam can be selectively transferred to the signal or idler output by changing the reflectivity of the output coupler. With this system, 1.535 µm vortex signal output with an energy of 2.04 mJ and 3.468 µm vortex idler output with an energy of 1.75 mJ were obtained with a maximum pump energy of 21 mJ, corresponding to slope efficiencies of 14% and 10%, respectively. The spectral bandwidth (full width at half maximum, FWHM) of the signal and idler vortex outputs were measured to be Δλ s ~ 1.3 nm (~ 5.5 cm−1) and Δλ i ~ 1.7 nm (~ 1.4 cm−1), respectively.

BackgroundWith the implementation of China's Two-child policy, the number of pregnant women has been increasing year by year in recent years. However, the pregnancy success rate of pregnant women is declining year by year, and it is almost necessary for all the elderly mothers to do pregnancy protection.ObjectiveThe purpose of this study is to analyze the social and environmental factors that affect the patient flow of pregnant women in Jilin area of China, and further utilize the favorable factors to avoid the negative effects of adverse factors, so as to improve the pregnancy success rate and eugenics level.MethodsMonthly patient flow data from 2018 to 2020 were collected in the obstetrics department of the First Hospital of Jilin University. The decompose function in R software was used to decompose the time series data, and the seasonal and trend change rules of the data were obtained; the significant factors influencing patient flow were analyzed by using Poisson regression model, and the prediction model was verified by using assumptions, such as the normal distribution of residuals and the constant difference of residuals.ResultsTemperature in environmental factors (P = 4.00E−08) had a significant impact on the flow of obstetric patient. The flow of patients was also significantly affected by the busy farming (P = 0.0013), entrance (P = 3.51E−10) and festivals (P = 0.00299). The patient flow was accompanied by random flow, but also showed trend change and seasonal change. The trend of change has been increasing year by year. The seasonal variation rule is that the flow of patients presents a trough in February every year, and reaches the peak in July.ConclusionIn this article, Poisson regression model is used to obtain the social and environmental significant factors of obstetric patient flow. According to the significant factors, we should give full play to significant factors to further improve the level of eugenics. By using time series decomposition model, we can obtain the rising trend and seasonal trend of patient flow, and then provide the management with decision support, which is conducive to providing pregnant women with higher level of medical services and more comfortable medical experience.

In this paper, we demonstrate a narrow-linewidth tunable fiber laser based on laser-induced graphene (LIG) paper-heated fiber Bragg grating (FBG) with low voltage. A linewidth of less than 600 Hz is achieved by the combination of a piece of unpumped Er-doped fiber and an FBG. Changing the temperature of the FBG will result in the central transmission spectrum shifting, and hence the laser wavelength tuning. LIG-heated (LIG-H) fabrication on polyimide (PI) paper by CO2 laser is used to offer temperature control of the FBG. By adjusting the voltage of the LIG-H from 0 to 5 V, the temperature of the LIG-H can be changed from room temperature up to 220 °C, while the central wavelength of the output laser can be continuously adjusted from 1549.5 nm to 1552 nm with a full range of 2.5 nm. The proposed technique by electric control of LIG-H can provide a low-cost and compact wavelength tunable laser design.

We propose a heat-reconfigurable metasurface composed of the silicon-based gold grating. The asymmetric Fano-like line shape is formed due to the mutual coupling of the local surface plasmon (LSP) in the gap between the two layers of Au gratings and the surface propagating plasmon (SPP) on the surface of the Au gratings. Then, we effectively regulate the Fano resonance by applying a bias voltage to laser-induced graphene (LIG), to generate Joule heat, so that the resonant dip of one mode of the Fano resonance can shift up to 28.5 nm. In contrast, the resonant dip of the other mode barely changes. This effectively regulates the coupling between two resonant modes in Fano resonance. Our study presents a simple and efficient method for regulating Fano-like interference in the near-infrared band.

[Purpose/Meaning] In the information age, this paper explores how university libraries use the theory of dissipative structure to deal with information processing, storage, interaction and meet the needs of the new era while maintaining the orderly operation and stability of their information systems. [Method/Process] By comparing the dissipative structure theory with the library information systems, the feasibility and effectiveness of the dissipative structure theory applied to the information systems of university libraries is demonstrated. Then from the internal and external aspects of a library, the specific applications of the theories of dissipative structure in system openness, resource input, cultural heritage, integration with other cultural industries, and competition is discussed. Finally, this paper analyzes the influence of the above factors on the development of a library and its information systems. [Results/Conclusions] A weighting equation that quantitatively analyzes the influencing factors of a library is obtained to guide the development of the library, and a consistency test is conducted.

Summary: Electric-field (E-field) control of magnetic switching provides an energy-efficient means to toggle the magnetic states in spintronic devices. The angular tunneling magnetoresistance (TMR) of an magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ)/PMN-PT magnetoelectronic hybrid indicates that the angle-dependent switching fields of the free layer can decrease significantly subject to the application of an E-field. In particular, the switching field along the major axis is reduced by 59% from 28.0 to 11.5 Oe as the E-field increases from 0 to 6 kV/cm, while the TMR ratio remains intact. The switching boundary angle decreases (increases) for the parallel (antiparallel) to antiparallel (parallel) state switch, resulting in a shrunk switching window size. The non-volatile and reversible 180° magnetization switching is demonstrated by using E-fields with a smaller magnetic field bias as low as 11.5 Oe. The angular magnetic switching originates from competition among the E-field-induced magnetoelastic anisotropy, magnetic shape anisotropy, and Zeeman energy, which is confirmed by micromagnetic simulations.

Laboratory toxicity test and field control effect test are important experiments to evaluate the effect of pesticides on disease control. The safety of pesticide application depends on whether the pesticide residue on the fruit complies with the limits related to the good agricultural practices which were assessed by the legislative framework. In addition, many factors may affect the control effect of fungicides in the field experiment, among which one of the most important factors is the precipitation during the application process in the growing season. In this study, raw data of the laboratory toxicity of different fungicides to Colletotrichum fructicola, disease severity after treatment with different agents, the pesticide residue on the fruit after preharvest application, and the precipitation in the growing season are provided. In addition, this study also introduced the method and calculation process of raw data processing. We hope that these raw data will serve as a reference for other researchers who are studying the prevention and control of Glomerella leaf spot (GLS).

Ultra-short laser pulses possess many advantages for materials processing. Ultrafast laser has a significantly low thermal effect on the areas surrounding the focal point; therefore, it is a promising tool for micro- and submicro-sized precision processing. In addition, the nonlinear multiphoton absorption phenomenon of focused ultra-short pulses provides a promising method for the fabrication of various structures on transparent material, such as glass and transparent polymers. A laser direct writing process was applied in the fabrication of high-performance three-dimensional (3D) structured multilayer micro-supercapacitors (MSCs) on polymer substrates exhibiting a peak specific capacitance of 42.6 mF·cm−2 at a current density of 0.1 mA·cm−2. Furthermore, a flexible smart sensor array on a polymer substrate was fabricated for multi-flavor detection. Different surface treatments such as gold plating, reduced-graphene oxide (rGO) coating, and polyaniline (PANI) coating were accomplished for different measurement units. By applying principal component analysis (PCA), this sensing system showed a promising result for flavor detection. In addition, two-dimensional (2D) periodic metal nanostructures inside 3D glass microfluidic channels were developed by all-femtosecond-laser processing for real-time surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS). The processing mechanisms included laser ablation, laser reduction, and laser-induced surface nano-engineering. These works demonstrate the attractive potential of ultra-short pulsed laser for surface precision manufacturing. We realize femtosecond laser-induced high spatial frequency nano-meter size periodic surface structures with a periodicity about 140nm-170 nm on ZnSe film in one step. Compared with bulk ZnSe, the periodicity and fluence threshold of the surface structure on ZnSe film are smaller and lower. We propose the shortened melting duration, which caused by the higher thermal conductivity of the sapphire substrate, is the origin of the difference between the bulk ZnSe and ZnSe film. Surface capillary wave is easier frozen with shorter melting duration leaves smaller periodicity. Meanwhile, we also found stripes on the surface of sapphire with much lower threshold than previously reported values. The results can benefit advanced optoelectronic device fabrication and fundamental research.

Direct laser writing (DLW) is a convenient approach for fabricating graphene-based flexible electronic devices. In this paper, laser-induced graphene was successfully prepared on a thin and transparent polyimide film through the DLW process. Experiments have demonstrated that interdigital thin film capacitor prepared by the DLW method has a high specific capacitance of 8.11 mF/cm2 and volume capacitance density of 3.16 F/cm3 (0.05 mA/cm2) due to the doped fluoride in the laser-induced graphene. The capacitance is about 20 times larger than the super-capacitor based non-transparent polyimide film of the same thickness. Owing to its thin, flexible, higher electrochemical characteristics, the transparent polyimide film is promising for integrating and powering portable and wearable electronics.
