We analyze the quasi-two-body charmed $B$ decays $B^{+,0}_{(s)} \to D_{(s)}^* P_2 \to D_{(s)} P_1 P_2$ with $P_{1,2}$ as a pion or kaon. The intermediate processes $B_{(s)} \to D_{(s)}^* P_2 $ are calculated with the factorization-assisted topological-amplitude approach and the resonant effects are calculated with the Breit-Wigner formalism. Taking all p-wave resonance states $ \bar D_{(s)}^*$ into consideration, we present the related branching fractions, calculate the Breit-Wigner-Tail effects, and investigate the flavor $SU(3)$ breaking effects. Most of our branching fractions are consistent with the perturbative QCD approach's predictions as well as the current experimental data. With more precision calculation of the intermediate two body charmed B meson decays, our quasi-two-body B decays calculation has significantly less theoretical uncertainty than the perturbative QCD approach. Many of those channels without any experimental data will be confronted with the future more accurate experiment measurements. Our results of the Breit-Wigner-tail effects also agree with the experimental very well. In $B^0$ decays this effect can reach approximately to $5\%$. It is also found that the Breit-Wigner-tail effects are not sensitive to the widths of their corresponding resonances. The object of this study was to investigate the influence of bagging or the combination of umbrella and bags on berry composition, especially anthocyanin accumulation, in ‘Kyoho’ (V. labruscana) berry skins. Five different colors and bag materials commonly used in production were chosen for this study: white, green, yellow, nonwoven and transparent, and the umbrellas were made of plastic material. The composition and content of anthocyanins in the berry skin of ‘Kyoho’ were analyzed by HPLC-MS. The results showed that bagging or a combination of umbrella and bags on anthocyanin concentration in ‘Kyoho’ grapes showed inconsistent effects that depended on the colors and materials of the bags and the use of an umbrella or not. Compared with the control, the inhibition effects of white, green and yellow bags on the soluble solids content and the total and individual anthocyanin concentrations in ‘Kyoho’ grapes reached significant levels; effects of green and yellow bags were the most significant among them. The plastic umbrella used in this study also presented a lower relative light intensity and produced more even-colored clusters. White, green, and yellow bags and combinations of umbrella and bags significantly increased some stable anthocyanin proportions to varying degrees, such as coumaroylated and methylated anthocyanins, compared to the control.

In this paper, we summarize the existing methods of solving the evolution equation of the leading-twist $B$-meson LCDA. Then, in the Mellin space, we derive a factorization formula with next-to-leading-logarithmic (NLL) resummation for the form factors $F_{A,V}$ in the $B \to \gamma \ell\nu$ decay at leading power in $\Lambda/m_b$. Furthermore, we investigate the power suppressed local contributions, factorizable non-local contributions (which are suppressed by $1/E_\gamma$ and $1/m_b$), and soft contributions to the form factors. In the numerical analysis, which employs the two-loop-level hard function and the jet function, we find that both the resummation effect and the power corrections can sizably decrease the form factors. To fully utilize the characteristic climatic conditions in the southern region of China, a two-crop-a-year cultivation system technique for 'Kyoho' grape was developed during the past decade. After summer harvest in June, appropriate pruning and chemical treatments promote flowering and fruiting, which enables a second harvest in late December. Due to climatic differences between the two crop growing seasons, grape phenol and carotenoid metabolism differ greatly. The reported study analyzed the transcriptome of the carotenoid and phenylpropanoid/flavonoid pathways in grapes at four different stages during the two growing seasons. Compared with those in summer grapes, expression levels of the majority of genes involved in the carotenoid metabolic pathway in winter grapes were generally upregulated. This result was associated with lower rainfall and much more abundant sunlight during the second growing season. On the other hand, summer cropping strongly triggered the expression of upstream genes in the phenylpropanoid/flavonoid pathway at E-L 33 and E-L 35. Transcript levels of flavonoid 3',5'-hydroxylase (F3'5'H), flavonoid 3'-hydroxylase (F3'H), flavonoid 3-hydroxylase (F3H) and glutathione S-transferase (GST) were upregulated in winter grapes at the mature stage. Together, these results might indicate that more flavonoids would be synthesized in ripe winter grapes during the mature stage of the second crop under much drier conditions, longer sunlight hours and lower temperature. These data provide a theoretical foundation for the secondary metabolism of berries grown under two-crop-a-year cultivation systems.

After the discovery of the Higgs boson, several future experiments have been proposed to study the Higgs boson properties, including two circular lepton colliders, the CEPC and the FCC-ee, and one linear lepton collider, the ILC. We evaluate the precision reach of these colliders in measuring the branching ratios of the charged lepton flavor violating Higgs decays $$H\rightarrow e^\pm \mu ^\mp $$ H→e±μ∓ , $$e^\pm \tau ^\mp $$ e±τ∓ and $$\mu ^\pm \tau ^\mp $$ μ±τ∓ . The expected upper bounds on the branching ratios given by the circular (linear) colliders are found to be $${\mathcal {B}}(H\rightarrow e^\pm \mu ^\mp ) < 1.2~(2.1) \times 10^{-5}$$ B(H→e±μ∓)<1.2(2.1)×10-5 , $${\mathcal {B}}(H\rightarrow e^\pm \tau ^\mp ) < 1.6~(2.4) \times 10^{-4}$$ B(H→e±τ∓)<1.6(2.4)×10-4 and $${\mathcal {B}}(H\rightarrow \mu ^\pm \tau ^\mp ) < 1.4~(2.3) \times 10^{-4}$$ B(H→μ±τ∓)<1.4(2.3)×10-4 at 95% CL, which are improved by one to two orders compared to the current experimental bounds. We also discuss the constraints that these upper bounds set on certain theory parameters, including the charged lepton flavor violating Higgs couplings, the corresponding parameters in the type-III 2HDM, and the new physics cut-off scales in the SMEFT, in RS models and in models with heavy neutrinos.

Using all experimentally measured charmless , decay modes, where denotes a light pseudoscalar (vector) meson, we extract the CKM angle by a global fit. All hadronic parameters are determined from the experimental data, such that the approach is least model dependent. The contributions of the various decay modes are classified by the topological weak Feynman diagram amplitudes, which are determined by the global fit. To improve the precision of the approach, we consider the flavor SU(3) breaking effects of the topological diagram amplitudes of the decay modes by including the form factors and decay constants. The fit result for the CKM angle is . It is consistent with the current world average values but has a smaller uncertainty.

The anthocyanin profiles and CIELAB color values of nine wines in Vitis germplasms from southern China were compared. The results showed that the anthocyanin composition of wines from one hybrid between V. vinifera and V. labrusca (‘Moldova’), two V. labrusca varieties (‘Conquistador’ and ‘Saint-Croix’), one V. quinquangularis variety (‘Yeniang No.2’), one hybrid between V. quinquangularis and V. vinifera (‘NW196’), one V. davidii variety (‘Xiangniang No.1’) and one V. rotundifolia variety (‘Noble’) were dominated by anthocyanidin 3,5-O-diglucosides. All these were quite different from V. vinifera wines (‘Cabernet Sauvignon’ and ‘Marselan’), which were characterized by the monoglucoside and pyranoanthocyanins. 3',4',5'-substituted anthocyanins were dominant in the wines of all varieties, except ‘Noble’ wine. ‘Yeniang No.2’ (V. quinquangularis) had the highest acid, total anthocyanin concentration, and showed a more intense pigmentation with a higher proportion and concentration of coumaroylated anthocyanins. In the colorimetric analysis, ‘Yeniang No.2’ (V. quinquangularis) wine showed the most saturated red colors, followed by ‘NW196’ (V. quinquangularis). The detected chromatic characteristics of these wines were basically in accordance with their sensory evaluation.

Under the framework of soft-collinear effective theory, we analyze the charmless $B\to VV$ decays in a global way at leading power in $1/m_b$ and leading order in $\alpha_s$ with $V$ denoting a light vector meson. In the flavor SU(3) symmetry, decay amplitudes for the 28 decay modes are expressed in terms of 8 nonperturbative parameters. With 35 experimental results, we fit these 8 nonperturbative parameters. Annihilation contributions are neglected due to power suppression in the $m_b\to \infty$ limit, so we include in the fit the nonperturbative charm penguins, which will play an important role in understanding the direct CP asymmetries. Charming penguins are also responsible for the large transverse polarizations of penguin-dominated and color-suppressed decays. With the best fitted parameters, we calculate all possible physical observables of 28 decay modes, including branching fractions, direct CP asymmetries, and the complete set of polarization observables. Most of our results are compatible with the present experimental data when available, while the others can be examined on the ongoing LHCb experiment and the forthcoming Belle-II experiment. Moreover, the agreements and differences with results in QCD factorization and perturbative QCD approach are also discussed. We analyze charmless two-body non-leptonic B decays $B \to PP, PV$ under the framework of factorization assisted topological amplitude approach, where $P(V)$ denotes a light pseudoscalar (vector) meson. Compared with the conventional flavor diagram approach, we consider flavor $SU(3)$ breaking effect assisted by factorization hypothesis for topological diagram amplitudes of different decay modes, factorizing out the corresponding decay constants and form factors. The non-perturbative parameters of topology diagram magnitudes $\chi$ and strong phase $\phi$ are universal that can be extracted by $\chi^2$ fit from current abundant experimental data of charmless B decays. The number of free parameters and the $\chi^2$ per degree of freedom are both reduced comparing with previous analysis. With these best fitted parameters, we predict branching fractions and $CP$ asymmetry parameters of nearly 100 $B_{u,d}$ and $B_s$ decay modes. Within the factorization-assisted topological-amplitude approach, we study the two-body charmed $B$ meson decays $B_{u,d,s} \to D^{(*)}M$, with $M$ denoting a light pseudoscalar (or vector) meson. The meson decay constants and transition form factors are factorized out from the hadronic matrix element of topological diagrams. Therefore the effect of SU(3) symmetry breaking is retained, which is different from the conventional topological diagram approach. The number of free nonperturbative parameters to be fitted from experimental data is also much less. Only four universal nonperturbative parameters $\chi^C$, $\phi^C$, $\chi^E$ and $\phi^E$ are introduced to describe the contribution of the color suppressed tree and $W$-exchanged diagrams for all the decay channels. With the fitted parameters from 31 decay modes induced by $b\to c$ transition, we then predict the branching fractions of 120 decay modes induced by both $b\to c$ and $b\to u$ transitions. Our results are well consistent with the measured data or to be tested in the LHCb and Belle-II experiments in the future. This paper describes optimal conditions for HBsAbIgG labeling with a new fluorescence probe, 4,7-bis-chorosulfophenyl-1,10-phenanthroline-2,9-dicarboxylic acid (BCPDA) for the solid phase time-resolved fluorimmunoassay (TRFIA). The result of experiment under states clearly that BCPDA may react with protein under relative mild condition. The relative bioactivity of reacted protein was more than 80%. The labeling molar ratio of BCPDA for HBsAbIgG was 45-70. The recovery was higher than 80%. Protein-BCPDA-Eu3+ complex is stable. It can emit very high fluorescence intensity with very long fluorescence life times. The fluorescence of Protein-BCPDA-Eu3+ complex has a very large stokes shift (270 nm). The emission band at 611.2 nm is very narrow. The research provides the base for developing non-isotopic immunoassay technique and clinical medical diagnosis.

Using the $B_s$ meson wave function extracted from non-leptonic $B_s$ decays, we reevaluate the rare decays $B_s\to \ell^+\ell^- \gamma, (\ell=e,\mu)$ in the standard model, including two kinds of contributions from magnetic-penguin operator with virtual and real photon. We find that the contributions from magnetic-penguin operator $b\to s\gamma$ with real photon to the exclusive decays, which is regarded as to be negligible in previous literatures, are large, and the branchings of $B_s\to \ell^+\ell^-\gamma$ are nearly enhanced by a factor 2. With the predicted branching ratios at order of $10^{-8}$, it is expected that the radiative dileptonic decays will be detected in the LHC-b and B factories in near future.
