Apendicitis je najčešća kirurška hitnoća vezana za abdomen u pedijatrijskoj populaciji. Klinička prezentacija akutnog apendicitisa je često opisivana te obuhvaća mnoštvo različitih simptoma koji mogu biti nespecifični. U dijagnostici, osim kliničke slike, bitni su i laboratorijski podaci te slikovne metode. Dodatan problem u ispravnom postavljanju dijagnoze akutnog apendicitisa predstavlja široki spektar mogućih diferencijalnih dijagnoza zbog kojih se događa 10-30% negativnih apendektomija. U ovom radu opisane su neke od bolesti koje čine diferencijalnu dijagnozu apendicitisa sa naglaskom na razlike u kliničkoj slici i dijagnostičkim metodama., Appendicitis is the most common abdominal surgical emergency in paediatric patients. The clinical presentation of acute appendicitis has often been described and includes a multitude of different symptoms that may be nonspecific. Diagnostic process includes evaluation of clinical symptoms, laboratory test and imaging. An additional problem in the correct diagnosis of acute appendicitis is wide range of differential diagnoses that cause 10-30% of negative appendectomies. The aim of this study was to describe some of the diseases that make up the differential diagnosis of appendicitis, with an emphasis on differences in the clinical picture and diagnostic methods
