Abstract

[ES] Se trata de estudiar, desde un enfoque constitucional, el tratamiento jurídico de la vida. El objetivo principal es el estudio de la regulación jurídica del presupuesto vital. Los objetivos secundarios, el análisis de garantías y límites como el aborto, la eutanasia, el auxilio al suicidio, el testamento vital, etc. La metodología que se propone es la del Derecho comparado, a través del análisis de la regulación constitucional y legal de la vida en Derecho comparado Europeo, la Unión europea y el Consejo de Europa. Al final se propone un análisis crítico y prospectivo., [EN] It is about studying, from a constitutional approach, the legal treatment of life. The main objective is the study of the legal regulation of the vital budget. The secondary objectives, the analysis of guarantees and limits such as abortion, euthanasia, suicide assistance, living will, etc. The methodology proposed is that of Comparative Law, through the analysis of the constitutional and legal regulation of life in European Comparative Law, the European Union and the Council of Europe. At the end a critical and prospective analysis is proposed.

10. CYCLIC VOLTAMMETRY AS A TOOL FOR MODEL TESTING - INVESTIGATION METHOD FOR NOBLE METAL CATALYST'S DURABILITY.

Abstract

Cyclic voltammetry (CV), one of the most useful technique to investigate the electrocatalytic behaviour, is applied to determine the stability and durability of three noble metal catalysts. The current response due to a potential sweep gives us an electrochemical spectrum of the electrode surface, with information regarding the solid-state redox transitions, active area and the electrode capacitance. The CV's graphs obtained are used to determine the number of moles that are reduced/oxidized at the electrode during the reaction; by taking into consideration the area under the curve of the voltammogram. There are several noble metal nanoparticles (e.g., Pt, Au, Pd, and Rh) supported on carbon materials that are usually used as catalyst for heterogeneous and electrochemical catalysis. The present work investigates the electrochemical behaviour, by cyclic voltammetry (CV) method of three different catalysts, namely: commercial 10% Pt/C, graphene oxide (GrO) and platinum deposed on graphene oxide (Pt/GrO). The activity and stability of prepared samples versus commercial catalyst was investigated by CV. The study compares also, the durability of the three catalytic materials after 200 cycles in the potential range from -0.35-1 V vs Ag/AgCl reference electrode. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

Electrospinning is a simple, versatile, and cost-effective technology which generates ultrasound fibers with high surface area to volume ratio, porosity and tunable porosity. Solution and processing parameters such as viscosity, molecular weight, concentration of the polymer, applied voltage, distance from tip to collector, conductivity, significantly affect the fiber morphology. An optimization of these parameters is required to obtain materials with desired properties for specific applications. In this study we synthesized electrospun fibers with different concentrations of PAN, our purpose being the obtaining of carbon fibers, needed for producing the gas diffusion layers for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell. The electrospun fibers obtained were subjected to carbonization at two different temperatures, 1200°C and 1400°C, in order to establish the temperature influence on removing all non-carbonaceous matter and to obtain a sample with higher carbon concentration and pure carbonaceous material.
