Research Reproducibility: Educating for Reproducibility, Pathways to Research Integrity was an interdisciplinary, conference hosted virtually by the University of Florida in December 2020. This event brought together educators, researchers, students, policy makers, and industry representatives from across the globe to explore best practices, innovations, and new ideas for education around reproducibility and replicability. Emphasizing a broad view of rigor and reproducibility, the conference touched on many aspects of introducing learners to transparency, rigorous study design, data science, data management, replications, and more. Transdisciplinary themes emerged from the panels, keynote, and submitted papers and poster presentations. The identified themes included lifelong learning, cultivating bottom-up change, "sneaking in" learning, just-in-time learning, targeting learners by career stage, learning by doing, learning how to learn, establishing communities of practice, librarians as interdisciplinary leaders, teamwork skills, rewards and incentives, and implementing top-down change. The purpose of the online survey seeks to arrive at a better understanding of digital publishing and grey literature, whereby the War in Ukraine 2022 serves as a use case. Survey respondents within GreyNet's community of practice were asked to respond to ten questions. Five of the questions allowed for Yes/No responses and the other five were openended. The open-ended questions further allowed for the capture and/or point of access to both linked and persistent digital identifiers. In so doing, this identifies their role in publishing digital grey literature. The preliminary outcome of the survey shows that the 35 survey respondents were from 15 countries worldwide, that more than 15 grey literature document types were recorded, and that while 35% of the document types contained audio-visual material, only 13% contained research data. The data collected is based on the responses of fifty authors/researchers, who have presented full-text papers published in the International Conference Series on Grey Literature. The dataset consists of ten questions, three of which are open-ended. The data contains the number and percentages of responses to questions dealing with the author's own empirical research data, its current availability, and the author's willingness to archive the data and make it openly accessible. The data in this study was collected and computer analyzed via Survey Monkey, where it remains stored along with a copy in Excel housed in the DANS Easy Archive. The data from the study was collected in 2011 within the framework of an enhanced publications project2. Since then, emphasis on data preservation, open access, and the reuse of data has increased exponentially. This data from six years ago offers a valuable baseline that would allow for a follow-up questionnaire in part or whole. Hereby, one would stand to gain insight into changing attitudes and practices within GreyNet's research community and renders potential (re)use by other professional research communities. This conference proceeding paper is the written version component of the data panel discussion on developing a dataset collection using Zenodo for a professor in the Department of Molecular Genetics & Microbiology at the University of Florida. An internal University of Florida George A. Smathers Libraries Strategic Opportunities Program (SOP) grant award provided support for the creation and development of an initial supplemental datasets digital collection of large, static variant call format (vcf) in zenodo. The "Documenting a Genomics Variant Files Data Management: Developing Research Data management (RDM) workflows and providing research data access via HPC" project inspired this paper. The large vcf datasets used for this project ranged from 34 megabytes to 43 gigabytes. The researcher needed to (1) develop a data repository for supplemental datasets vcf files too large for attachment as supplemental data files for journal submissions, (2) provide digital object identifiers (DOIs) for all vcf dataset files, and (3) link the supplemental vcf dataset files to the journal article via the vcf doi. These three outcomes were accomplished during phase 1 (June 2016 - December 2016) of this project and presented at the GL18. Phase 2 (January 2017 - June 2017) of this project includes performing (1) a dataset reproducibility interview, (2) an open archival initiative protocol for metadata harvest (OAI-PMH) from Zenodo to the University of Florida institutional repository (IR@UF), and (3) developing a similar use case project for researchers in UF/IFAS Nature Coast Biological Station (NCBS). Purpose — This paper aims to clarify the relationship between researcher, digital librarian, and cataloger supporting collection building in institutional repository (IR). It also aims to propose modeling the collaborative process and outline why and how cooperative partnership is important throughout their content building process. The study seeks to contribute to the body of knowledge of IR collection building by including a faculty-centered approach and level of data curation aspects than is normally found in IR content building literature. Design/methodology/approach — The paper opted for an experimental approach of IR collection building, including several interviews and one expert group discussion with faculty representing the department of anthropology. The data were complemented by digital collection description and accessibility in IR, online public access catalog (OPAC) and OCLC WorldCat. Findings — The paper provides empirical insights about how faculty contribution is brought about during IR content building. It suggests that digital librarians act as "integrating forces" on two levels: integrating the elements of level of data curation for digital objects representation and discoverability, and mediating between digital objects description and the researcher. Research limitations/implications — Because of the chosen research approach, the research results may lack general application. Therefore, researchers are encouraged to test proposed propositions further. Practical implications — The paper includes implications for the development of a mature and fully realized IR, the development of "data curators" and for managing the balance between participation and content.
