Reconstructing past events of hybridization and population size changes are required to understand speciation mechanisms and current patterns of genetic diversity, and ultimately contribute to species' conservation. Sea turtles are ancient species currently facing anthropogenic threats including climate change, fisheries, and illegal hunting. Five of the seven extant sea turtle species are known to currently hybridize, especially along the Brazilian coast where some populations can have ~32%-42% of hybrids. Although frequently observed today, it is not clear what role hybridization plays in the evolutionary diversification of this group of reptiles. In this study, we generated whole genome resequencing data of the five globally distributed sea turtle species to estimate a calibrated phylogeny and the population size dynamics, and to understand the role of hybridization in shaping the genomes of these ancient species. Our results reveal discordant species divergence dates between mitochondrial and nuclear genomes, with a high frequency of conflicting trees throughout the nuclear genome suggesting that some sea turtle species frequently hybridized in the past. The reconstruction of the species' demography showed a general decline in effective population sizes with no signs of recovery, except for the leatherback sea turtle. Furthermore, we discuss the influence of reference bias in our estimates. We show long-lasting ancestral gene flow events within Chelonioidea that continued for millions of years after initial divergence. Speciation with gene flow is a common pattern in marine species, and it raises questions whether current hybridization events should be considered as a part of these species' evolutionary history or a conservation issue.

We use a qualitative approach involving the analysis of PTT, so that we can approach the reality of the studied objects, as well as carry out a bibliographical survey on the subject. As for the methodological procedures, our research is divided into a few moments. In the first, we chose the PPGECEM-UEPB website and cataloged twelve PTT from the A1 area (Mathematics Education), more specifically, from the Reading and Writing in Mathematics Education – Research Group (LEEMAT) in a clipping of the 2017-2020 Quadriennium. Then, we analyze which PTT approach mathematical content in different ways, whether with exercises, activities, among others. This new filtering resulted in nine PTT that were analyzed in our research. Based on Peirce and Duval's studies, we created semiotic criteria to analyze the nine PTT cataloged in the A1 area, focusing on the presence of how the mathematical activities, represented in these products, can help in the production processes of mathematical meanings. The results indicate that PTT can handle two or more different representation registers, which can allow teachers and students to assign meanings during the teaching and learning processes of mathematical content. As for the linguistic, semiotic, representative, contextualized look that we put in these analyzed PTT, we understand that these become possibilities, among other possible ones, to understand how some products can contribute to the production of meanings involving mathematical knowledge. This work leads us to conclude on the importance of thinking about materials that, in a planned way, aim at the construction of mental structures that can help in the development of mathematical understanding. No presente trabalho, temos a seguinte questão de investigação: como os Produtos Técnico- Tecnológicos (PTT), produzidos em mestrados profissionais, podem contribuir para a produção de significados matemáticos? Utilizamos a abordagem qualitativa envolvendo análise de PTT, para que possamos nos aproximar da realidade dos objetos estudados, como também fazer um levantamento bibliográfico sobre o tema. Quanto aos procedimentos metodológicos, nossa pesquisa é dividida em alguns momentos. No primeiro, escolhemos o site do PPGECEM-UEPB e catalogamos doze PTT da área A1 (Educação Matemática), mais especificamente, do Leitura e Escrita em Educação Matemática – Grupo de Pesquisa (LEEMAT) em um recorte do Quadriênio 2017-2020. Em seguida, analisamos quais PTT trazem uma abordagem do conteúdo matemático de diferentes formas, sejam com exercícios, atividades, dentre outras. Essa nova filtragem resultou em nove PTT que foram analisados em nossa pesquisa. A partir dos estudos de Peirce e Duval, criamos critérios semióticos para analisarmos os nove PTT catalogados da área A1, nos detendo à presença de como as atividades matemáticas, representadas nesses produtos, podem auxiliar nos processos de produção de significados matemáticos. Os resultados indicam que os PTT podem lidar com dois ou mais registros de representação diferentes, que podem permitir aos professores e alunos atribuir significados durante os processos de ensino e aprendizagem de conteúdos matemáticos. Quanto ao olhar linguístico, semiótico, representativo, contextualizado que colocamos nesses PTT analisados, entendemos que esses se tornam possibilidades, dentre outras possíveis, para entendermos como alguns produtos podem contribuir para a produção de significados envolvendo o conhecimento matemático. Esse trabalho nos leva a concluir sobre a importância de se pensar em materiais que, de forma planejada, visem a construção de estruturas mentais que podem ajudar no desenvolvimento da compreensão matemática.

Resumo Com a pandemia da COVID-19 e a importância das políticas públicas de proteção social, questões sanitaristas incluindo as imunizações se tornaram destaque. O estudo tem o objetivo de analisar a dinâmica dos registros sanitários de vacinas no país e as vacinas disponibilizadas por meio do Programa Nacional de Imunização (PNI), com destaque para o calendário vacinal no período entre 2004 e 2018. Realizou-se um estudo descritivo, documental e exploratório dos processos de registro sanitário na Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (Anvisa) e a incorporação dos produtos no PNI. Como base da pesquisa foram utilizados o banco de dados de registro sanitário disponibilizado pela Anvisa, a análise documental de publicações oficiais/normativas e os dados da literatura. Os dados demonstram a incorporação das vacinas no PNI, assim como um país com potencial industrial para a produção das vacinas, no entanto ainda centrado na transferência de tecnologias, necessitando de investimentos e atenção pública no desenvolvimento de novas tecnologias, garantindo a independência do setor. Abstract Given the COVID-19 pandemic and the importance of public social protection policies, health issues, including immunizations, have gained prominence. This paper aims to analyze the dynamics of vaccine registration in Brazil and the vaccines made available through the National Immunization Program (PNI in Portuguese), with emphasis on the 2004-2018 vaccination schedule. This descriptive, exploratory, documentary research analyzed vaccine registration procedureswith the Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (ANVISA, in Portuguese) and the incorporation of vaccine products into the PNI. The study drew on information from the national sanitary registration database, made available by ANVISA; a document analysis of official/normative publications; and data from published literature. The data shows the incorporation of vaccines into the PNI, evidencing that Brazil is a country with industrial potential for vaccine production but that is still focused on the transfer of technologies and in need of public attention and investments for developing new technologies as a way to ensure the sector’s independence.
