Theory of Mind (ToM), the ability to understand others' thoughts and emotions, is crucial for social interaction. However, few longitudinal studies have explored ToM development within different social domains, particularly among rural populations. To address this gap, we conducted a study with 113 preschoolers aged 3–5 years from rural China. We assessed ToM development in different social domains using false belief tasks at three different time points with semester intervals, and we evaluated their performance on the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test and inhibitory control (IC). Results showed that ToM development trajectories differ across domains, with moral and social‐conventional domains developing earlier than the personal domain. Additionally, while general cognitive skills such as language and IC are associated with ToM development across these domains, they do not significantly predict it. While a variety of definitions persist, a common definition of physical literacy is that it encompasses the motivation, confidence, physical competence, knowledge and understanding to value and take responsibility for engagement in physical activities over the lifespan. While this perspective to physical literacy is broad, a great deal of curricular outcomes still focus on the physical competence, knowledge and understanding aspects of the framework leaving a gap in the holistic nature of the construct. This scoping review explores the construct of physical literacy within post‐secondary education, focusing on how social and emotional dimensions are integrated in teaching, delivery and assessment. This scoping review followed PRISMA‐ScR guidelines. Five online databases were used to identify papers published that used physical literacy in combination with post‐secondary as the educational setting with a focus on curriculum. The findings underscore a substantial gap in the literature. It was identified that the physical aspects of physical literacy were predominant with limited attention to the social and emotional domains. The gap implies that the comprehensive construct of physical literacy, which encompasses non‐physical facets, is often omitted in post‐secondary curricula. The review highlights an unexplored opportunity for post‐secondary institutions to intentionally construct more comprehensive physical literacy programmes. By incorporating social and emotional dimensions into these programmes, students gain a more holistic understanding of physical literacy. Objective: The Premorbid Adjustment Scale (PAS) has gained a reputation as the foremost retrospective assessment tool, although little is known about its reliability and validity. The aim of the study is to examine the psychometric properties of the PAS in a sample of Turkish schizophrenic patients. Methods: The research was carried out with 80 patients with schizophrenia and 50 healthy people. The sociodemographic form and PAS were applied to both groups. In addition, the Disability Assessment Schedule (DAS)-II and Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale were applied to the patients. In the statistical evaluation, the internal consistency coefficient, explanatory factor analysis, and correlation with other scales were calculated. Results: The average age of the schizophrenia group was 39.15 ± 12.19 and 45.9 ± 12.18 for control. The average years of education (9.91 ± 3.79 for the schizophrenia group and 11.08 ± 4.73 for control) and gender distribution (55% of the schizophrenia group and 46% of the control group were female) were similar. The internal consistency of the PAS was 0.93, and the subscales were between 0.75 and 0.92. Two-factor solution was observed, explaining 72.97% of the total variance. In regard to convergent validity, the correlation coefficients between the total scores of DAS II and PAS and PAS late and early adolescence and childhood were 0.45, 0.53, 0.48, 0.37, and 0.22, respectively (P < .001). The correlation coefficients between the total score of PAS and the total score of DAS 1, DAS 3, DAS 4, DAS 5, and DAS 6 were calculated as 0.46, 0.43, 0.39, 0.48, and 0.44 (P < .001), respectively. Dit essay bespreekt kwetsbaarheid in de context van Nederlands gezondheidsrecht. In de afgelopen jaren werd het Nederlandse zorgsysteem gedecentraliseerd, waarbij gemeenten meer verantwoordelijkheid hebben gekregen voor de levering van jeugdzorg en maatschappelijke ondersteuning. Deze decentralisatie beoogde aan de ene kant het stimuleren van meer zelfverantwoordelijkheid bij burgers en aan de andere kant, zorgen dat de uitgaven voor zorg en ondersteuning onder controle bleven. Echter, gemeenten zijn vaak niet in staat om de ondersteuning te bieden die burgers nodig hebben. Dit wordt regelmatig ervaren door kwetsbare inwoners. Tegelijkertijd zijn de zorguitgaven op de lange termijn niet houdbaar. Er is behoefte aan nieuwe hervormingen in het zogenaamde ‘sociale domein’. Abstract This essay discusses vulnerability in the context of health law, focusing on the decentralization of the Dutch healthcare system. Over the last decade, the Dutch healthcare system has undergone extensive decentralization, with municipalities assuming greater responsibility for delivering youth care and social support services. This decentralization primarily aimed to make citizens more accountable for their own healthcare needs and to encourage them to arrange necessary support themselves, while keeping healthcare and support expenditures manageable. However, municipalities often struggle to provide the required support, a challenge regularly faced by vulnerable residents. At the same time, healthcare expenditure is unsustainable in the long run and novel reforms in the so-called ‘social domain’ are required. The legal framework underpinning these reforms is commonly known in the Netherlands as ‘the social domain’. This essay contends that the ‘social domain,’ that is, the part of social policy which includes different types of social and healthcare assistance, can no longer be considered suitable within the framework of administrative law discourse. This assertion arises from the evolving dynamics within administrative law, influenced by various factors and events such as the Childcare Benefits Scandal, the Youth Reform Agenda, and the planned trajectory for youth and family protection. Sporting capital is a lately entered term in the literature. Social, psychological and physiological factors are the factors that determine participation in sports. The combination of these three different areas creates the sporting capital of the individual. It is the accumulation of physiological, psychological, and social characteristics and skills motivating the person to do sports, supports and motivates the continuation of the started sport. The purpose of this research is to develop a measurement tool to regulate the sporting capital levels of individuals. Scale dimensions are structured according to sporting capital theory. Physiological, psychological and social fields constitute the dimensions of sporting capital. Quantitative method was used in the research. By examining the relevant literature, a group of questions was created to measure the level of sporting capital. To measure validity, confirmatory factor analysis was implemented by looking at the itemtotal correlation values. Cronbach's Alpha coefficient was calculated for reliability. 334 people, 162 female and 172 male university students, constituted the study group. NFI= .97; RMSEA= ,08; NNFI= ,97; CFI= ,98; GFI= ,90; AGFI= ,85 has been determined in accordance with to the DFA results. Correspondingly, the results of the DFA analysis, it can be said that the fit indices are at an acceptable level. It was observed that Cronbach's Alpha value was 0.92 throughout the scale, and it ranged from 0.70 to 0.88 in the sub-dimensions. These results show that the scale is reliable. Accordingly, it can be concluded that the scale is a valid and reliable measurement instrument in order to define the sporting capital levels of individuals.

This article presents a systematic review of research on predicting human behavior through unstructured textual data, employing a comprehensive selection process illustrated in a flow diagram. The review categorizes 82 selected papers into three primary behavioral domains: emotional, social, and cognitive. Each paper undergoes meticulous examination, identifying objectives, algorithms, computational models, and applications. Natural language processing (NLP) emerges as a dominant text mining approach, utilized in over half of the literature, followed by data extraction, report arrangement, and clusterization. The study further employs VOSviewer to visualize the co-occurrence of the term "text mining," revealing prevalent associations and emphasizing the challenges in analyzing unstructured data efficiently. The main objective of this study is to assess the impact of corruption on the social, economic, environmental and political domains of sustainable development from individuals' perspective. The study also attempts to relate individuals' perceptions to their socioeconomic characteristics. The study uses the convenience sampling approach, where 521 responses are collected through an online-administered questionnaire. Each domain of sustainable development is defined by a set of items measured on a five-point Likert scale. Individuals' perceptions of the impact of corruption on sustainable development domains are assessed by measuring the mean score value of each item. The association between individuals' perceptions and their socioeconomic characteristics is evaluated using the independent-samples t-test. The study finds that the impact of corruption on the four domains of sustainable development as perceived by individuals is within the high level. Results also show a statistically significant difference between individuals from different socioeconomic groups in their perceptions of the impact of corruption on sustainable development. Results revealed that a high level of corruption would hinder the progress towards achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at all levels. BACKGROUND: COVID-19 bitterly jolted the lives of masses around the globe, and affected the physical, mental, health, and quality of life of majority of individuals. OBJECTIVE: The aim of the study was to assess the quality of life of dental students of public and private colleges and those residing in college accommodation and own home using the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire. METHODS: This cross-sectional study was conducted amongst 402 dental students of a private and public university. Students' t-test was used to compare the data. Relationship between gender, institute and accommodation (college accommodation or own home) was assessed by multiple linear regression. P-value of < 0.05 was taken significant. RESULTS: The participants rated their quality of life to be good (mean Score 3.99±SD 0.93) during the post COVID-19 pandemic, while satisfaction with health was neutral to satisfactory (mean Score 3.77±SD 0.87). A significant difference regarding physical health and social relationship domains was observed between the private and public university students. Significant differences in all domains of QOL was also reported among students living in own homes versus those students utilizing college accommodation. CONCLUSION: The post COVID-19 quality of life of dental students in both private and public institutes differed with respect to physical and environmental domains. The difference was more significant among the student living in college accommodation than those living at home, which underscores that effort should be made to facilitate the students to improve their the quality of life post pandemic so that they may be more focused on studies and perform better. The aim of the study was to investigate the negative effects of the usage of Social Media Network (SMN) on the performance of students at An-Najah National University who follow a traditional educational system versus Al-Quds Open University, Nablus city branch who follow a distance educational system. In order to accomplish this aim, a (750) simples random sample of undergraduate students was withdrawn from the colleges of Science and Humanities in both universities: (339) from AnNajah National University and (411) from Al-Quds Open University. A questionnaire which consisted of (31) items reflecting the possible negative effects of (SMN) usages in three domains: academic, social, and health was administered on the study sample. The descriptive statistics in one hand, and the analytic statistics by using “F” test on the other revealed the following results: the performance of students at An-Najah National University (x=3.01) was significantly (α = .000) affected negatively by using (SMN) more than their counterparts at Al-Quds Open University (x=2.66). This negative effect appeared significantly between the two universities on social and health domains but not on the academic one, though the mean on this domain was relatively high at both universities. It placed in the second rank for An-Najah students and in the first one for Al-Quds Open students. F-test on the other hand didn’t show a significant main effect between males and females, but it did show such significants on the other variables. These significant effects were summarized as follows: the students of other colleges such as commercial and social, were affected negatively more than the students of humanities and scientific colleges; freshmen and senior students were more affected than the sophomore or junior students; students whose specializations’ stream at high school in commercial or industrial were affected more than those whose specializations were in literature or science; students who have a weak grade points average at university were affected more than those who have good, very good, or excellent grades; students who spend seven hours daily or more on (SMN) were affected more than those who spend less than seven hours; students who work during their studies were affected more than those who don’t work; and students who don't have a hobby in their life were affected more than those who do have a hobby. Accordingly, the researcher recommended the people who are in charge at universities conduct seminars on the usages of (SMN) and its possible negative effects on students’ performances in order to guide them to use it properly. The authors explore the impact of cumulative stress on United States (US) military service members (SM), including soldiers and medical personnel, deployed to serve in New York City (NYC) communities. Their mission was to assist in establishing emergency field hospitals during the COVID-19 pandemic. Causative biopsychosocial factors are presented, as well as the impact of wellness checks, which were utilized to monitor the mood and morale of frontline healthcare providers, military personnel, and infected patients in a 2,500-bed emergency field hospital and a 1,000-bed Naval hospital ship operating in the metropolitan NYC area. The authors introduce a self-care and wellness tool, which assesses five core domains (physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual) for the purpose of assessing and improving individual overall well-being during periods of heightened stress. This instrument could aid attending medical personnel in identifying patients at risk of suicide. Background and objective: Diabetic patients could be at increased risk of functional disability, which needs good control of blood glucose and other risk factors and the quality of life of diabetic patients especially those who had complications is remarkably lower than the quality of life of the general population. This study was conducted to assess the quality of life of diabetic patients in its different domains from the patient's perspective in Erbil city. Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 160 diabetic patients were randomly selected from Layla Qassim diabetic health center. The WHO (WHO QOL- BREF) questionnaire was used as the main tool for data collection, which included26 questions on four domains of health-related quality of life (physical, psychological, social and environmental domains). Results: Around 49% of the patients had checked their blood sugar regularly and had better scores in the social domain (P = 0.036). Diabetic patients of all age groups had low scores in all domains of quality of life, with the lowest mean score in the psychological domain. Females reported significantly higher scores in the environmental domain (P = 0.001). Patients with insufficient monthly family income had lower scores in the social (P = 0.001), psychological (P = 0.031) and environmental (P = 0.039) domains. There was no obvious statistical association between clinical characteristics of the patients and the quality of life domains. However, those with complications had lower scores in the psychological domain, with a higher proportion (P = 0.016) of complications in females. Conclusion: All domains of quality of life are affected by diabetes mellitus, with no clear, consistent statistical association between clinical characteristics of the patients and the quality of life of various domains, which emphasize the need for more multidisciplinary team action for more patient`s education and self-care.

The article connects the fields of work/non-work research with the research on social integration of migrants. It is based on in-depth interviews with foreign physicians in the south of Sweden which explored their work/non-work experiences and their subjective perceptions of managing work, family, social and private domains of life. Based on individual reflections of social life as experienced in the workplace, in the locations of everyday life and transnationally, the analysis does not pursue the existence and composition of social networks but focuses on non-instrumental aspects of social life and explores their significance for high-skilled migrants' own sense of integration. The findings suggest that migrants who are privileged in terms of education and employment still face extensive challenges in the social domain of life, especially with regard to close friendships. The findings furthermore suggest that social integration is a process that is influenced by place, time and individual life trajectories and therefore cannot be truthfully accounted for by looking at the numbers and ethnic composition of a migrant's social relations. Food selectivity is a common feeding problem among autistic children. The objective of this qualitative study was to explore the impact of selective eating on key social domains—with family, peers, and in other social situations—of transition-age autistic youth who self-identified as being food selective. Interviews were conducted with 20 autistic youth ages 18–23 years. Data were analyzed using descriptive and thematic coding. Participants had developed a range of strategies to cope with their food selectivity, and although some expressed concerns, they did not feel that it had a major impact on social situations. Social difficulties are a key aspect of autism, but the intervening factors are still poorly understood. This study had two objectives: to compare the profile of ToM skills, executive functioning (EF), and pragmatic competence (PC) of children with high-functioning autism (HFA) and children with typical development (TD), and analyze their mediator role in social functioning. The participants were 52 children with HFA and 37 children with TD matched on age, intelligence quotient, and expressive vocabulary. Significant differences were found on measures of ToM, both explicit and applied, EF, and PC between children with HFA and TD. Multiple mediation analysis revealed that applied ToM skills and PC mediated the relations between autism symptoms and social functioning. Introduction: Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that affects the quality of peoples’ lives through a number of psychological, emotional, social and psychosexual problems. Objective: Assess social domain of quality of life among a sample of diabetic patients and determine its association with the socio-demographic variables. Methods: In a survey conducted at the Clinical Center Banja Luka from October 2011 until June 2012 year, were included 150 patients with diabetes mellitus and 150 patients with hyperthyroidism. To assess quality of life, were used the questionnaire of the World Health Organization (WHOQOL-BREF). Results: In patients with diabetes mellitus compared to the control group, with statistical significant difference (t = –3.304; p < 0.001) social domain was reduced. Patients with diabetes mellitus, with statistically significant difference (U = 4603.5, p < 0.001) were more dissatisfied with sex life. With personal relationships and with the support they received from their friends were “satisfied” 68.0% and 62.0% and “very satisfied” 14.0% and 11.3% of those with diabetes mellitus, without statistically significant difference (p > 0.05) compared to control group. In higher percent with the support they received from friends were satisfied respondents who were married (67%) than those who were single (40.0%), (p = 0.055). Conclusion: Most of the patients with diabetes mellitus were satisfied with their personal relationships and with social support that they got from their friends without difference by gender, age and level of education. Patients with diabetes were less satisfied with their sex life.
