The article presents some of the effective school and classroom activities shared by teachers and principals in the U.S. It includes the organization of seasonal activities leading up to Christmas and setting the last day before Christmas as a student retreat day. Saintly puppets are displayed during All Saints Day and students are assigned to create a puppet show. Students are asked to personalize and decorate a paper Christmas tree ornament during Advent.
