TV dramas that focus on food and eating reflect the popular trend of single culture, with a rising number of single-person households among the younger generation in South Korea. Analyzing Let's Eat (tvN), the South Korean food drama series that specifically focus on eating scenes, this paper uses the framework of survivalism and the popular discourse of healing to examine how eating alone as a social and cultural phenomenon represents the psychological turn in neoliberalism. In its three seasons, Let's Eat reflects how eating alone becomes a practice of endurance and resilience that encourages the younger generation to stay positive, even during an enervated state of mind, to bounce back, and to ultimately spring forward. I argue that Let's Eat reflects how survivalism especially requires the marginalized population of women in precarious employment to reflect and grow confidence without considering the problems of structural inequality. Let's Eat shows the younger generation's struggle and lack of societal support, perpetuating neoliberalism's focus on individual effort and blaming individuals for their enervation. Blogging among young, tech-savvy mothers has been a popular media outlet for discussing domestic activities since the early 2000s in South Korea. In "mommy blogs," young mothers negotiate ideal motherhood through the meanings of the sacrificial mother and postfeminist, neoliberal values. Using the frameworks of sacrifice and self-enterprise in a neoliberal sense, I argue that mothers commodify the home space for their neoliberal aspirations while hiding their individual desires behind sacrificial motherhood. Mothers' baking blog economy, especially the system of power blogger, reveals a sacrificial production of healthy consumable commodities that promotes neoliberal aspirations of mothers to earn social capital. The analysis of power blogging also speaks to the paradox of postfeminist, neoliberal values rooted in sacrificial motherhood. An internalized market rationality is the driving force of mothers' work, successfully hidden behind the idea of sacrifice. South Korean mommy bloggers resist the prevailing idea of the super mom while reappropriating the relationship between domestic responsibilities and work to suit the motherly duties of sacrifice. This neoliberal aspiration arises from a mother's sense of individualism and the blurring of the private and public, which reinforces the Confucian patriarchal system. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The component orientation of the total knee replacement is critical to surgical outcomes. There have been many studies focused on knee movement for different component rotations. However, the effect of component misalignment on a dynamic movement, especially which requires high knee flexion, is not widely studied. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of tibial component misalignment on a squat motion by predictive simulation. Squat motions with different replacement component alignments were predicted by formulating an optimal control problem. The result indicates that component misalignment on coronal and horizontal planes reduces peak joint flexion angles and the external rotation on the horizontal plane has the most negative impact. Misalignment in external rotation resulted in the greatest reduction of peak joint flexion angles. The simulation was validated by comparison with experimental data, which showed a high level of correlation with the predicted motion.Clinical relevance- The predictive simulation presented in this study can predict the dynamic post-surgery movement of TKR. It has the potential to help surgeons and clinicians at the preoperative planning stage.
