The Ordos Basin is a large cratonic basin with stable deposition in Northwest China. Given its mostly stable subsidence background and the urgent need for saline water disposal and carbon dioxide storage in the coal mining and coal chemical industries, the Ordos Basin has been chosen as a pilot demonstration site for carbon dioxide and saline water storage in China. However, few studies have been made to evaluate the sedimentary and sequence stratigraphy characteristics of this region, as well as their influence on carbon dioxide and saline water storage potential. To address this research gap, we conducted a sedimentary study of the Lower Triassic Liujiagou Formation in the northeastern Ordos Basin utilizing the stratigraphy theory, laboratory test analysis, and pilot project demonstration, to evaluate the area's viability for the deep geological storage of gas and liquid waste. We studied the tectonic setting, petrological features, and sedimentary characteristics of the favorable strata and predicted favorable areas based on sequence stratigraphy theory. The lithology predominantly consists of feldspathic graywacke, with a fine grain size and mostly fine-to-medium-grained sandstone. The distribution of thick-grained sandstone and fine-grained sediment was identified by dividing the sequence, and a favorable reservoir-cap assemblage configuration was formed. It's concluded that the Lower Triassic Liujiagou Formation exhibits suitable characteristics for the deep geological storage of carbon dioxide and saline water. This study demonstrates the importance of basic theory in guiding practical applications and provides a reference for the scientific selection of favorable areas for deep basin storage.

Context Puerarin (Pue) and tanshinone IIA (Tan IIA) are often used in combination in the treatment of cerebrovascular diseases.Objective To investigate the neuroprotective effect and synergic mechanism of Pue-Tan IIA on the treatment of ischaemic stroke (IS).Materials and methods IS was induced in rats by middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO). Rats were intraperitoneally injected with Pue (36 mg/kg), Tan IIA (7.2 mg/kg), or Pue-Tan IIA (36 and 7.2 mg/kg) for five times [30 min before ischaemia, immediately after reperfusion (0 h), 24, 48, and 72 h after reperfusion]. After administration, neurological function assessment and histological changes in the brain were performed. S-100β and NSE levels were measured to determine the severity of brain injury. Oxidative stress parameters and inflammatory mediators were measured. ABSTRACT3D concrete printing (3DCP) has attracted significant attention due to the benefits of enhanced productivity and sustainability. However, existing 3DCP techniques face challenges of automation and practicality in integrating conventional rebar reinforcement with printed concrete structures. This study presents an automated robot system coupled with Building Information Modeling (BIM) to address the challenge. Dynamo scripts in BIM were used to generate printing paths, further optimised by a proposed algorithm for incorporating rebar reinforcement. A deep learning model was adopted to identify rebars with large aspect ratios. The average accuracy of rebar recognition is 92.5%, with a position error within 2 mm. A centralised control system was developed for multiple-device communication, including a camera, a robot arm, and a gripper. Finally, a real-time demonstration was conducted, representing the first practical demonstration of an automated robotic system to integrate rebar reinforcement with printed structures using BIM-generated data in the physical world.

Hyperinflammation can lead to tissue injury, organ failure, and even fatalities by overproducing proinflammatory cytokines. The long-term safety and outstanding anti-inflammatory ability of natural products have attracted much attention, but the low solubility and bioavailability limit their application. In this study, PGDE was conjugated with aromatic hydroxy groups of curcumin, resveratrol, and quercetin to prepare polyphenolic nano-assemblies. The nano-assemblies showed a comparable capacity for scavenging DPPH and ABTS free radicals with curcumin. The modification not only decreased the cytotoxicity of curcumin but also the anti-inflammation activity was preserved successfully. In vivo tests, NCAs were preferentially located at the inflammatory sites and performed effective therapeutic effects on acute and chronic inflammation models including sepsis, IBD, and liver fibrosis models. The anti-inflammatory activities were primarily realized by suppressing the overproduction of TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-β cytokines, and down-regulating the ROS-related NOX-1 and NOX-4. Additionally, NCAs inhibited the activation of the TGF-α/Smad pathway and decreased the production of α-SMA to alleviate collagen deposition in fibrosis mice. This study described a simple method for preparing nano-assemblies of insoluble polyphenols via the carrier-free self-assembly method, which improved the therapeutic effect on inflammatory diseases and broadened the application field of insoluble natural active polyphenols.

BackgroundAtrial fibrillation (AF) is an arrhythmia that is prevalent globally, and its incidence grows exponentially with aging. Non-vitamin K antagonist oral anticoagulants (NOACs) have been developed in recent years, and it challenges the supremacy of warfarin for thromboembolism prophylaxis in AF. Nevertheless, there are limited data specifically evaluating the real-life use of NOACs in elderly patients with AF in China.MethodsThis is a national, multicenter, non-interventional, cross-sectional study that enrolls patients with AF aged 75 years and above from 31 institutions across China. Data were collected using the Hospital Information System. The primary outcomes include (1) profiles of NOAC use in the elderly; (2) frequency of inappropriate NOAC use based on guidelines and approved labeling recommendations; (3) exploring potential risk factors related to NOACs inappropriate use; and (4) creating a prediction tool for inappropriate NOACs use.ConclusionThe results of this study reveal the prevalence, risk factors, and corresponding prediction tool of inappropriate NOACs use in older patients with AF in China, as well as provide valuable insights into the clinical application of NOACs in high-risk populations in the real-world setting.Clinical trial registrationwww.ClinicalTrials.gov, identifier: NCT 05361889.

Transient liquid phase sintering can successfully fabricate reliable high-temperature solder joints at a relatively low joining temperature by forming intermetallic compounds. In this work, microstructure, shear properties and corrosion resistance of Cu/Cu-In/Cu solder joints prepared by TLPS process were investigated. The shear strength of the Cu-In solder joints significantly increased during the initial aging period and then slightly decreased due to the increase of pores after continuous 24 h aging. The corresponding microstructure is that part of the Cu2In in the Cu-In solder joints transforms to Cu7In3 in the meanwhile. After continuous aging, the interfacial microstructure remained stable and contributed to good shear strength that exceeds 20 MPa after 96 h aging at 250 °C and 350 °C, which was 20.8 MPa and 23.4 MPa, respectively. Regarding corrosion resistance, the Cu-In interfacial layer (−0.24 V) has similar corrosion resistance to Cu substrate (−0.22 V) and shows superior to the commonly used Sn63Pb37 solder (-0.40 V) and Sn95.5Ag3.8Cu0.7 solder (−0.42 V).

In this paper, an output feedback controller based on a novel sampled-data nonlinear extended state observer (SDNLESO) is proposed for an active suspension electro-hydraulic actuator (ASEHA) system to address the heavy nonlinearities, model uncertainties and sampled-data behavior. The designed controller only requires little prior knowledge about the controlled system for the purpose of position tracking. The SDNLESO, integrating a novel nonlinear extended state observer and an output predictor, is developed to simultaneously and continuously estimate the unmeasurable states and total disturbance for an error dynamic system rather than the original ASEHA system, where the actual discrete displacement tracking error between measurement output and the reference signal serves as the observer input. Then, a compensated controller is synthesized based on the obtained estimates, which is robust against the matched and mismatched disturbances of the system while being able to ensure an expected transient tracking performance and final tracking accuracy. By constructing weighted error system and using the geometric homogeneity theory, the SDNLESO convergence is proven, while the maximum allowable sampling period is derived theoretically for guiding the selection of the actual sampling interval. Moreover, the closed-loop system stability and the tracking error exponential convergence are guaranteed within the Lyapunov framework. Finally, a number of practical experiments are carried out on the ASEHA system test platform. The results show that the proposed control method is applicable and valid for nonlinear and uncertain ASEHA system despite the existence of a large actuator area ratio.

A rapid, efficient, simple, and high-throughput method for the simultaneous determination of 108 pesticide residues in three traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs) was established, comprising an improved QuEChERS method in combination with HPLC-MS/MS based on mixed samples. A quantity of 10 mL of acetonitrile was used as extraction solvent, and 10 mg of amino-modified multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs-NH2) and 150 mg of anhydrous magnesium sulfate (MgSO4) were selected as sorbents for dispersive solid phase extraction. The performance of the method was verified according to the analytical quality control standards of SANTE/11813/2017 guidelines. With good linearity (R2 > 0.9984) in the range of 2–200 μg/L for all pesticides in the selected matrices, and good accuracy, precision, and high sensitivity, the recoveries were in the range of 70–120% for more than 95% of the pesticides, with a relative standard deviation (RSD) of less than 16.82% for all. The limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification (LOQ) of the method were 0.01–3.87 μg/kg and 0.07–12.90 μg/kg, respectively, for Fritillaria thunbergii Miq (F. thunbergii), Chrysanthemum Morifolium Ramat (C. morifolium), and Dendrobium officinale Kimura et Migo (D. officinale). The method was successfully applied to 60 batches of actual samples from different regions.

Patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF) exhibit a high risk of stroke, which is associated with high mortality. Thus, stroke prevention is crucial for the overall management of NVAF. Two categories of drugs, vitamin K antagonist warfarin and non-vitamin K antagonist oral anticoagulants (NOACs), are clinically used to prevent NVAF-related stroke. In some circumstances, NOACs are superior to warfarin. However, NOACs selection for NVAF patients is affected by many factors, including individual patient characteristics, comorbidities, risk factors, or laboratory variables. This article summarizes the discrepancy in NOACs management with emphasis on the dosing regimens and influencing factors, such as stroke risk, age, body weight, renal function, gastrointestinal bleeding (GIB) risk, and combination of antiplatelet therapy, in order to identify individual groups with particular clinical characteristics who may obtain more benefit from a certain dosing regimen of NOACs. Determination of a particular subset of patient populations for the appropriate dose regimen of NOACs will help to achieve desired clinical outcomes. Furthermore, to compensate clinical evidence, we should place more emphasis on the findings of current clinical trials and supplement real-world data.

This work presents numerical well testing interpretation model and analysis techniques to evaluate formation by using pressure transient data acquired with logging tools in crossflow double-layer reservoirs by polymer flooding. A well testing model is established based on rheology experiments and by considering shear, diffusion, convection, inaccessible pore volume (IPV), permeability reduction, wellbore storage effect, and skin factors. The type curves were then developed based on this model, and parameter sensitivity is analyzed. Our research shows that the type curves have five segments with different flow status: (I) wellbore storage section, (II) intermediate flow section (transient section), (III) mid-radial flow section, (IV) crossflow section (from low permeability layer to high permeability layer), and (V) systematic radial flow section. The polymer flooding field tests prove that our model can accurately determine formation parameters in crossflow double-layer reservoirs by polymer flooding. Moreover, formation damage caused by polymer flooding can also be evaluated by comparison of the interpreted permeability with initial layered permeability before polymer flooding. Comparison of the analysis of numerical solution based on flow mechanism with observed polymer flooding field test data highlights the potential for the application of this interpretation method in formation evaluation and enhanced oil recovery (EOR).

In the face of the problem of low accuracy of university sports load data prediction method, a deep learning university sports load data prediction method is designed. Identify the style and rules of human movement, extract the characteristics of time domain to calculate in frequency domain, construct the target tracking model by deep learning, calculate the error of the output layer, extract the characteristics of college sports load, judge the rationality of the movement contact configuration between bones, and design the data prediction method. Experimental results: The average prediction accuracy of the college sports load data prediction method in this paper and the other two methods are 0.417, 0.342 and 0.333 respectively, indicating that the precision of the college sports load data prediction method designed after the full integration of deep learning technology has been improved. 3-nitro-1,2,4-tri-azol-5-one (NTO) is a high energy insensitive explosive. To study the shock initiation process of NTO-based polymer bonded explosive JEOL-1 (32%octahydro-1,3,5,7-tetranitro-1,3,5,7-tetrazocine (HMX), 32% NTO, 28% Al and 8% binder system), the cylinder test, the gap experiments and numerical simulation were carried out. Firstly, we got the detonation velocity (7746 m/s) and the parameters of Jones-Wilkins-Lee (JWL) equation of state (EOS) for detonation product by cylinder test and numerical simulation. Secondly, the Hugoniot curve of unreacted explosive for JEOL-1 was obtained calculating the data of pressure and time at different Lagrangian positions. Then the JWL EOS of unreacted explosive was obtained by utilizing the Hugoniot curve as the reference curve. Finally, we got the pressure growth history of JEOL-1 under shock wave stimulation and the parameters of the ignition and growth reaction rate equation were obtained by the pressure-time curves measured by the shockinitiation gap experiment and numerical simulation. The determined trinomial ignition and growth model (IG model) parameters can be applied to subsequently simulation analysis and design of insensitive ammunition with NTO-based polymer bonded explosive.
