As the fundamental energy storage components in electronic systems, dielectric capacitors with high power densities were demanded. In this work, the anti-ferroelectric Pb0.89La0.06Sr0.05(Zr0.95Ti0.05)O3 (PLSZT) ceramics and thin film capacitor were successfully fabricated by a solid-state reaction route and pulsed laser deposition method, respectively. The ferroelectric, dielectric, energy-storage properties, and temperature stability of anti-ferroelectric PLSZT capacitor were investigated in detail. By compared with the PLSZT ceramic (energy storage density is 1.29 J/cm3 with an efficiency of 78.7% under 75 kV/cm), the anti-ferroelectric PLSZT thin film capacitors exhibited the enhanced energy storage density of 52.6 J/cm3 with efficiency of 67.7% under an electric field as high as 2068.9 kV/cm, and the enhanced energy-storage temperature stabilities from room temperature (RT) to more than 200 °C were demonstrated, and the oxygen defects mechanism and size effect were discussed. Moreover, the fast charging (∼0.05 μs) and discharging (∼0.15 μs) time were certified for the anti-ferroelectric PLSZT film capacitor. These findings broaden the horizon for PLSZT anti-ferroelectrics in high energy storage properties and show promising for manufacturing pulse power capacitor.

The new effects induced by light in materials have important potential applications in optoelectronic multifunctional electronic devices. In this work, double perovskite oxide Bi2FeCrO6 (BFCO) thin films were prepared by the sol–gel method, and the structural, optical, and electrical transport properties were investigated in detail. Good and stable resistive switching (RS) behavior with a large ROFF/RON ratio (>60) at a small voltage of 0.5 V can be realized. Interestingly, optical modulation conversion of the RS behavior and a negative differential resistance (NDR) effect induced by light were found in the Au/BFCO/FTO devices. Furthermore, the mechanisms of the RS behavior, NDR effect, and carrier dynamics induced by light for the Au/BFCO/FTO devices were discussed; the formation of oxygen vacancies was proposed to explain the good and stable RS performance, and the effective separation of photogenerated carriers can result in the NDR effect, which is further confirmed by transient absorption spectroscopy. The conversion of RS memory and the NDR effect have potential applications in optical modulation multifunctional electronic devices, electronic information, and optical quantum computers.

Electronic textiles (E-textiles) have received extensive attention for use in human motion detection, wearable electronics, and artificial intelligence. However, fabrication costs and methodology are still key issues preventing the commercialization of highly sensitive and wearable sensors. Here, simple to prepare low-cost conductive MXene-coated airlaid paper (MXene AP) sensors were fabricated via a dip-coating technique for use as electronic skin. The two-layer MXene AP sensors with a three-dimensional structure display high sensitivity (7.65 kPa−1 at 0–3.3 kPa), a broad sensing range (up to 300 kPa), and a stable response for more than 1000 cycles, presenting good sensitivity, repeatability, and durability, and their mechanism was investigated. Furthermore, origami technology can be used to fold MXene AP into an arbitrary shape with good sensing performance, and multistate conformational changes and simulated human touch can also be detected using the resultant three-dimensional (3D) MXene AP sensors. The wearable MXene AP sensors can be used to monitor human body motion and to collect human physical signals sensitively and accurately in the form of electronic skin. These strategies of folding and layering textile-decorated conductive nanomaterials provide a reference for next-generation textile-based wearable electronics and electronic skin.

Electronic textiles (e-textiles) have shown promise applications in wearable electronics and multifunctional smart clothes due to the combination of the advanced electronic functions, ultra-lightweight and flexibility. In this work, we report the functionalized conductive, sensitive, wearable and washable vacuum pressure sensor based on carbon nanotubes (CNTs) e-textile with unique nanostructures growth on the non-woven fabric (NWF) by using the novel and facile nano-soldering method. The electronic resistance of the CNTs e-textile sensor is sensitive to vacuum pressure and show the good linearity, the high sensitivity with a maximum sensitivity of 3.06, the wide measurement ranges from 7.3×10−5 to 1.0 ×103 mbar, and low power consumption of 0.21 mW. And the pressure sensitive mechanism is discussed, and the oxygen chemisorption and energy band were used to reasonably explained it. Moreover, the conductive CNTs e-textile sensors show good repeatability, washability, durability and super-hydrophobic performance, and it can be used for smart clothes, flexible sensors by monitoring vacuum pressures in real time.
