The Institute and its foundation, Fundación Caminos, has identified a need for the training of engineers to take on the responsibilities as directors of large projects, sectors or geographical areas, which subsequently requires enhanced competence in management (business and project), commercial skills, knowledge of public policy (the main source of activity in our sector), as well as reinforcing transversal skills and competences (communication, negotiation, leadership, teamwork...). This article outlines the academic aspects of this Masters degree and its international organization in conjunction with the École des Ponts ParisTech and the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo, as co-managing universities, with the collaboration of the Spanish National Institute of Public Administration.
