International audience; This letter presents a new type of E-band vertically aligned carbon nanotubes (VACNTs)-based air-filled waveguide (AFWG). This original concept is based on the use of bundle of VACNTs as equivalent WG’s metallic lateral walls. The WG is designed by applying a full-wave three dimensions electromagnetic software and an equivalent VACNTs bulk model. Then, the WG is fabricated using a CMOS compatible CNTs transfer process and a dedicated assembly process. For the first time, the concept of the CNTs-based AFWG is validated by measurements, and an experimental attenuation constant is estimated at 0.5 dB/mm between 81 and 86 GHz.

The designed sensors were presented and fabricated with success. The experiments show sensitivity to ethanol vapor according to the S parameters. It is equal to 0.9 kHz/ppm and 1.3 kHz/ppm for the sensors based on 5 and 50 sensitive layers respectively. This sensor will be integrated into real-time multi-sensing platforms adaptable for the Internet of Things (IoT).

Several designs of lossy filters for receivers in satellite transponders have been investigated in order to improve the performance in terms of flatness compared to a classical hairpin filter design. Flatness and insertion loss performances for all solutions are summarized. The reference design is a microstrip filter made of coupled hairpin resonators. Two approaches have investigated for improving the flatness of the reference design. Lossy filter designs have been compared to the reference, considering the same specifications and the same technology. An in-line network with resistive cross-couplings and a transversal network with heterogeneous Q resonators have been designed and fabricated first. Theoretically, the transversal network leads to better performances in terms of flatness, but its implementation is generally difficult, especially considering the input/output junctions between multiple paths, which are naturally dispersive, causing spurious transmissions in the stopband. Moreover, a Monte Carlo analysis has been performed, showing higher sensitivity of this later solution with respect to manufacturing tolerances. Consequently, considering measured performances, in-line networks with resistive cross-couplings appear to be the best solution for implementing our receiver filter. In particular, the version with two RCCs appears as a good compromise between flatness and insertion loss. Finally, the in-line network has been transformed introducing non-resonant nodes and additional resistive cross-couplings in order to design absorptive lossy filters. The resulting filters allow attenuating the reflected wave substantially with a reduced impact on the absolute level of losses.

International audience; In the areas of safety, health and environment, the detection of chemical compounds, VOCs and toxic gases, is a major societal concern. The explosion in recent years in the telecommunications market has led to the emergence of concept of sensor network. This new concept of communicating objects meets the growing need to deploy sensors for monitoring and analysing distributed applications. These systems rely on an architecture built around wireless autonomous sensors composed of nanostructured materials that are very effective in terms of sorption of chemical compounds, and of new low cost communication electronic devices printed on flexible substrates. Thus, the research effort requires a multidisciplinary approach around the engineering of new materials, transduction mechanisms and electromagnetic waves (microwaves).The CAMUS (CArbon & Microwaves-based Ultrasensitive Gas Sensors) project is proposed by a consortium of four labs with complementary skills: IMS Bordeaux UMR 5218, XLIM Limoges UMR 7252, IEMN Lille UMR 8510, CINTRA Singapore UMI 3288 CNRS-NTU-Thales.In this project, we propose the realization of a platform for microwave transduction associated with nanostructured materials, graphene and carbon nanotubes (CNTs), allowing the extraction of interference properties of conductivity and dielectric permittivity caused by the interaction of these materials with the target species. Thus, our approach aims to demonstrate the feasibility of a passive microwave resonator on a flexible substrate dedicated to the detection of chemical compounds in the vapor state.

In this paper, the design of compact diplexers with dual-mode cavities for satellite payloads is detailed. Compact diplexers are composed of coupled resonators without additional waveguide element, leading to a more compact architecture. Two topologies are first implemented and compared with a standard manifold output diplexer, in terms of electrical performances, compactness, and power handling. Hardware prototypes are fabricated and measured for experimental verification. A third topology is finally introduced for the design of noncontiguous diplexers. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The Internet of Things is undergoing an exceptional development that is likely to bring about a major change in our lifestyles in the coming years. In this context, many markets, such as gas sensors, want to integrate this revolution. However, the different technologies of these sensors with a high Technology Readiness Level are incompatible with the needs of the Internet of Things, such as low energy consumption. Thus, one of the proposed solutions is the development of passive radio fre-quency technology since it has many advantages such as its very low remote energy consumption, its reversibility at room temperature, or its low manufacturing cost. The objective of my thesis is to design and integrate new RF transducers for the detection of volatile and harmful chemical species. Thus, the first chapter of this manuscript highlights the reasons explaining the need to be able to detect and measure specific gases as well as the different existing sensor technologies. The second chapter presents the design studies and also the characterizations of the materials used. Finally, a third and last part explains the measurements carried out under gas and humidity as well as the methods used to carry out the data processing., L’internet des objets connaît un développement exceptionnel qui risque de provoquer un changement important de nos modes de vies au cours des prochaines années. Dans ce contexte, de nombreux marchés tel que celui des capteurs de gaz souhaitent intégrer cette révolution. Cependant, les différentes technologies de ces capteurs possédant un niveau de maturité avancé sont incompatibles avec les besoins de l’internet des objets, comme par exemple une faible consommation d’énergie. Ainsi, une des solutions proposées est le développement de la technologie radiofréquence passive puisque celle-ci possède de nombreux avantages tels que sa très faible consommation d’énergie indirecte, sa réversibilité à température ambiante, ou bien encore son faible coût de fabrication. L’objectif de ma thèse consiste à concevoir et intégrer de nouveaux transducteurs RF pour la détection d’espèces chimiques nocives. Ainsi, le premier chapitre de ce manuscrit met en avant les raisons expliquant la nécessité d’être capable de détecter et de mesurer certains gaz ainsi que les différentes technologies de capteurs existantes. Le deuxième chapitre présente les études de conceptions ainsi que les caractérisations des matériaux utilisés. Enfin, une troisième et dernière partie expose les mesures réalisées sous gaz et humidité ainsi que les méthodes permettant de réaliser le traitement des données.

This work takesplace in the context of developingelectronic systems for communications equipment, localization or monitoringequipment with a high integration density. The deployment of these systems must also meet a growing demand for flexibility in terms of frequencies, power or coverage. The frequency flexibility can be simultaneous with multiband devices or selective by reconfiguring the frequency band. The power flexibility enables to minimize consumption of the system and the coverage flexibility to direct the beam to the target to optimize the budget link or otherwise protect a source of noise. The increase in efficiency and compactness passes through the combination of elementary functions (LNA / filter / antenna) that reduces interconnect floors and considering the interactions between the different elements. The primary objective of this project is to develop a co-design methodology of the antenna with the associated circuits (filters and LNA) to achieve optimal performances (radiation,efficiency, ...) with an integrated and compact device.; Ce travail de thèse s’inscrit dans le contexte actuel d’une très forte augmentation de la densité d’intégration des systèmes électroniques pour les équipements de communications, de localisation ou de surveillance. Le déploiement de ces systèmes doit aussi répondre à une demande croissante de flexibilité en termes de fréquences, de puissance ou de couverture. La flexibilité en fréquence peut être simultanée avec des dispositifs multi-bandes ou sélective par reconfiguration de la bande de fréquence. La flexibilité en puissance permet de minimiser la consommation du système et la flexibilité de couverture d’orienter le faisceau vers la cible afin d’optimiser le bilan de liaison ou au contraire se protéger d’une source de bruit. L’augmentation de l’efficacité et de la compacité passe par le regroupement de fonctions élémentaires (LNA/filtre/antenne) qui permet de réduire les étages d’interconnexion et de prendre en compte les interactions entre les différents éléments. L’objectif premier de ce projet est donc de développer une méthodologie de conception conjointe de l’antenne et des circuits associés (filtres et LNA) pour atteindre des performances (rayonnement, efficacité, etc.) optimales avec un dispositif intégré et compact.

The problem of impedance matching in electronics and particularly in RF engineering consists on minimising the reflection of the power that is to be transmitted, by a generator, to a given load within a frequency band. The matching and filtering requirements in classical communication systems are usually satisfied by using a matching circuit followed by a filter. We propose here to design matching filters that integrate both, matching and filtering requirements, in a single device and thereby increase the overall efficiency and compactness of the system. In this work, the matching problem is formulated by introducing convex optimisation on the framework established by the matching theory of Fano and Youla. As a result, by means of modern non-linear semi-definite programming techniques, a convex problem, and therefore with guaranteed optimality, is achieved. Finally, to demonstrate the advantages provided by the developed theory beyond the synthesis of filters with frequency varying loads, we consider two practical applications which are recurrent in the design of communication devices. These applications are, on the one hand, the matching of an array of antennas with the objective of maximizing the radiation efficiency, and on the other hand the synthesis of multiplexers where each of the channel filters is matched to the rest of the device, including the filters corresponding to the other channels.; Le problème de l'adaptation d'impédance en ingénierie des hyper fréquences et en électronique en général consiste à minimiser la réflexion de la puissance qui doit être transmise, par un générateur, à une charge donnée dans une bande de fréquence. Les exigences d'adaptation et de filtrage dans les systèmes de communication classiques sont généralement satisfaites en utilisant un circuit d'adaptation suivi d'un filtre. Nous proposons ici de concevoir des filtres d'adaptation qui intègrent à la fois les exigences d'adaptation et de filtrage dans un seul appareil et augmentent ainsi l'efficacité globale et la compacité du système. Dans ce travail, le problème d'adaptation est formulé en introduisant un problème d'optimisation convexe dans le cadre établi par la théorie de d'adaptation de Fano et Youla. De ce contexte, au moyen de techniques modernes de programmation semi-définies non linéaires, un problème convexe, et donc avec une optimalité garantie, est obtenu. Enfin, pour démontrer les avantages fournis par la théorie développée au-delà de la synthèse de filtres avec des charges complexes variables en fréquence, nous examinons deux applications pratiques récurrentes dans la conception de ce type de dispositifs. Ces applications correspondent, d'une part, à l'adaptation d'un réseau d'antennes dans le but de maximiser l'efficacité du rayonnement, et, d'autre part, à la synthèse de multiplexeurs où chacun des filtres de canal est adapté au reste du dispositif, notamment les filtres correspondant aux autres canaux.

Due to the evolution of wireless systems and data rate, it is necessary to increase microwave operating frequencies, especially in space industry. Optimization of existing circuit topologies are always not enough and therefore, we need to synthetize new circuits. Unfortunately, most of the existing synthesis methods, including in CAD softwares, are only based on lossless passive component models. With the increase of operating frequency, we need to take the effect of losses in the passive component models during synthesis. This thesis introduces a new synthesis and design method for low noise integrated circuits(low noise amplifier and mixer). Lossy passive component models from foundries, connecting wires, junctions and co-design (amplification and filtering or mixing and filtering)are included. The design procedure was validated by simulations and measurements.; L’augmentation du nombre d’appareils communicants et du débit de données a pour conséquence une montée en fréquence des dispositifs micro-ondes, notamment dans le secteur du spatial. L’optimisation des modules existants n’est pas toujours suffisante. Il faut donc synthétiser de nouveaux circuits. Cependant, la plupart des méthodes de synthèse existantes, inclues dans les logiciels de CAO, ne prennent pas en compte les modèles à pertes des fondeurs. Or, plus la fréquence de fonctionnement est élevée, plus leurs prises en compte est indispensable. Cette thèse propose une nouvelle méthode de synthèse et de conception pour les circuits faible bruit intégrés (amplificateur faible bruit et mélangeur). Elle prend en compte les modèles à pertes des composants passifs des fondeurs, les lignes de connexion, les jonctions et elle combine plusieurs fonctions comme l’amplification et le filtrage ainsi que le mélange et le filtrage. Elle a été validée en simulation et en mesure.

This thesis report deals with the development of a methodology for the design of bandpass filters including dispersive coupling to optimize the selectivity of these filters by generating and controlling the position of additional transmission zeros. A state of the art on the different approaches proposed in the literature for the synthesis of microwave filters with dispersive coupling is first proposed. This analysis is illustrated by several concrete examples, and a structure in particular, comprising a coupling capacitive post, is the starting point of the work. New dispersive coupling elements were then proposed, capable of generating both positive and negative couplings, thus enabling the transmission zeros to be positioned in the upper or lower stopped band. These elements have then been integrated in more complex filtering structures to achieve, for example, on-line structures having several out-of-band transmission zeros or multiband filters with enhanced selectivity. Many of the devices designed have been manufactured and measured. The experimental results are in good agreement with the simulations validating the proposed approach., Ces travaux de thèse concernent la mise au point d’une méthodologie de conception de filtres passe-bandes à couplages dispersifs permettant d’optimiser la sélectivité de ces filtres en générant et en contrôlant la position de zéros de transmission supplémentaires. Un état de l’art sur les différentes approches proposées dans la littérature pour la synthèse de filtres hyperfréquences à couplage dispersif est d’abord proposé. Cette analyse est illustrée par plusieurs exemples concrets, et une structure en particulier, comportant un couplage par plot capacitif, constitue le point de départ des travaux. De nouveaux éléments de couplage dispersifs ont été ensuite proposés, capables de générer aussi bien des couplages positifs que négatifs, permettant ainsi de positionner les zéros de transmission dans la bande stoppée supérieure ou inférieure. Ces éléments ont alors été intégrés dans des structures de filtrage plus complexes pour réaliser par exemple des structures en ligne possédant plusieurs zéros de transmission hors bande ou des filtres multibandes à la sélectivité renforcée. Plusieurs des dispositifs conçus ont été fabriqués et mesurés. Les résultats expérimentaux sont en bon accord avec les simulations validant ainsi l’approche proposée.

This thesis falls within the scope of high-speed short-reach optical communication where the growing need in data transfer forces the current architectures to evolve as quickly. Acces network and data-center components and subsystems must follow this growth, especially on the photoreceiver side. 40 Gb{s and beyond high-speed communications are limited by the current photoreceiver architecture, which, due to the integration of both of its main functions (photodetection[PD]/amplification[TIA]), limits the maximum achievable bandwitdh. In order to reduce the amount of components and price caused by multi-architectures, photoreceivers bandwidth must be increased. Two solutions are proposed so that the photoreceiver performances can be optimized : A co-packaging approach in which both main functions of the photoreceiver are considered as black boxes to which must be added an external circuit allowing to increase the bandwidth, and a co-design approach in which a new transimpedance amplifier (TIA) is designed, integrating a pre-equalizing function based on the photodiode characteristics, allowing an enhancement of the photoreceiver bandwitdh.; Les travaux présentés dans cette thèse s'inscrivent dans le cadre des télécommunications optiques à haut-débit sur courtes distances. L'ère numérique dans laquelle nous vivons pousse les architectures actuelles à évoluer aussi rapidement que le besoin en débit. Les réseaux d'accès et data-centers doivent d'ores et déjà évoluer, notamment au niveau des composants et sous-systèmes chargés de détecter les signaux optiques après leur transmission : les photorécepteurs. La montée en débit à 40 Gb/s et au-delà est limitée par l'architecture actuelle des photorécepteurs dont l'interfaçage entre ses deux fonctions primaires (photodétection[PD]/amplification[TIA]) limite la bande passante. Les solutions présentées, visant à limiter la parallélisation multi-longueurs d'onde des composants et ainsi les coût de déploiement, proposent d'augmenter la rapidité des modules photorécepteurs en optimisant leur architecture. Deux axes d'optimisation sont alors proposés au niveau du photorécepteur : Une approche co-packaging ayant pour objectif de considérer les deux fonctions clés du photorécepteur comme des boîtes noires auxquelles il convient d'ajouter un circuit externe permettant d'augmenter la bande passante, et une approche co-design visant à concevoir un nouveau circuit amplificateur transimpédance (TIA) intégrant directement une fonction de pré-égalisation adaptée à la photodiode permettant de repousser la fréquence de coupure du récepteur.

We develop a deformation technique for shape optimization problems. The shapes are described only by their boundary, parameterized by piecewise Bézier curves. They are polynomial curves hence entirely defined by their coefficients which are called control points. By moving these control points the curves change and so is the boundary of the shape. Used in a shape optimization problem, the control points become the optimization variables meaning that the problem is a parametric optimization problem. Our method consists in first parameterizing the boundary of a shape by Bézier curves as stated above and then compute a deformation of the control points from a descent direction for the objective function. The method is almost purely geometric but we add a way to include topological changes by diving a shape into two or conversly merging two shapes into one. We tested our method on three particular shape optimization problems which are microwave filter design, inclusions detection and optimal trajectories.; Dans cette thèse nous développons une technique de déformation pour l'optimisation de formes. Les formes sont représentées par leur frontière, paramétrée par des courbes de Bézier par morceaux. En tant que courbes polynomiales, elles sont définies par leurs coefficients que l'on appelle plutôt points de contrôle. Bouger les points de contrôle revient à modifier la courbe et donc déplacer la frontière des formes. Dans un contexte d'optimisation de formes, ce sont alors les points de contrôle qui sont les variables du problème et l'on a transformé ce dernier en un problème d'optimisation paramétrique. Notre méthode de déformation consiste en un premier temps à paramétrer les frontières par des courbes de Bézier comme indiqué plus haut et dans un second temps à calculer une déformation des points de contrôle à partir d'une direction de descente de la fonction objectif. Notre méthode est de nature géométrique mais l'on propose un moyen de changer la topologie des formes en mesurant la distance entre les points de contrôle : on peut scinder une forme en deux ou inversement en réunir deux en une. Nous avons testé la méthode sur trois problèmes qui sont la conception d'un filtre micro-ondes, la détection d'inclusions et les trajectoires optimales.

The gas sensor domain has continued to evolve over the past few decades by moving primarily from a technology based on metal oxides to new nanostructured materials. Indeed, for modern applications in today's world robust sensors with low power consumption, low cost, conformable, sensitive and selective is desirable. In this context, mark-sensitive materials based on carbon nanostructures, as well as new manufacturing technologies (allowing miniaturization and conformability devices) is required. One solution which is currently under consideration is the use of innovative materials such as carbon nanotubes (CNTs) which exhibit very good electrical and mechanical properties. Their dimensions give us a considerable surface area and hence the possibility of high sensitivity. Their ability to be functionalized with different groups makes them very selective to react with a particular target gas. Amongst the emerging technologies, inkjet printing deposition of a very thin film is currently in use as it remains versatile because of its ease of use. The resolution and printing possibilities on different types of substrate have remains very important assets. A very important aspect that has been considered very less is the modeling of thin film sensing elements. Regarding printed layers solutions containing carbon nanotubes, very few works have been currently listed, and the existing models are quite complex. In this work, modeling of thin layers in the form of patterns printed by inkjet has been studied and experimental verifications and their analyses have been carried out successfully. Specific emphasis has been laid on the layers of solutions containing carbon nanotubes deposited in RF structures for application in the detection of gases.; Le marché des capteurs de gaz n’a pas cessé d’évoluer depuis ces dernières décennies en passant d’une technologie basée principalement sur des oxydes métalliques vers des nouveaux matériaux nanostructurés. En effet, les applications actuelles demandent des capteurs robustes, à faible consommation d'énergie, faible coût, conformables, sensibles et sélectives. Dans ce contexte, la recherche des matériaux sensibles à base de nanostructures de carbone, ainsi que des nouvelles technologies de fabrication (permettant la miniaturisation et la conformabilité des dispositifs) est nécessaire. Une de solutions actuellement à l’étude concerne l’utilisation de matériaux innovants tels que les nanotubes de carbone (CNTs). Dans ce manuscrit, les CNTs sont présentés ainsi que leurs très bonnes propriétés électriques et mécaniques. Leurs dimensions nous donnent une surface spécifique considérable et donc, la possibilité d’une grande sensibilité. Leur aptitude à être fonctionnalisés avec différents radicaux fait qu’ils puissent être sélectifs à une espèce donnée. Parmi les technologies émergentes apparues récemment, l’impression par jet d’encre est une technologie de déposition des couches minces très utilisée actuellement, car elle reste versatile grâce à sa facilité d’utilisation. La résolution et les possibilités d’impression sur différents types de substrat qu’on dispose, restent des atouts très importants. Un aspect très important qui a été peu étudié est la modélisation des couches minces des éléments sensibles. Concernant les couches imprimées des solutions contenant des nanotubes de carbone, très peu de travaux ont été répertoriés actuellement, et les modèles existants sont assez complexes. Dans nos travaux, nous nous concentrons sur la modélisation des couches minces sous la forme de motifs imprimés par jet d’encre. Des couches de solutions contenant des nanotubes de carbone sont déposées dans des structures RF, dans le but de pouvoir les appliquer dans la détection des gaz.

The aim of this thesis is to design a new tunable and compact multifunctional device (filters, antennas) based on the co-design of an antenna and the associated filter. The subsystem needs to fit with electrical specifications for ISM band applications at 2.45GHz while being integrated and compact. The antenna and the filter are jointly developed on particular impedances where the antenna has a high radiation efficiency. The filter is optimized to adapt the antenna on its optimal impedance and introduce minimal losses. The work has initially been focused on the co-design and the co-integration of functions to finish on the tunability of the filter/antenna subsystem design., Les travaux de cette thèse ont pour objectif la conception de dispositifs multifonctions (filtre-antennes) à la fois compacts et agiles, mis au point par une conception conjointe des éléments associés. Le sous-système doit répondre à des spécifications électriques pour des applications dans la bande ISM à 2,45 GHz ainsi qu’à des contraintes d’intégration et d’encombrement. L’antenne et le filtre sont développés conjointement sur une impédance particulière où l’antenne, réduite en dimensions, présente une efficacité de rayonnement optimale. Le filtre est optimisé pour adapter l’antenne sur son impédance optimale et pour présenter des pertes minimales. Les travaux se sont focalisés dans un premier temps sur la co-conception et la co-intégration des fonctions, puis sur l’accord en fréquence du sous-système.

The 60 GHz unlicensed spectrum between 57 and 66 GHz has received a lot of attention over the last years for enabling short-range and over 1-Gbps high-speed wireless communications. In addition to the high-data rates that can be accomplished in this spectrum, many other benefits such as high security communications are foreseen. In general, this frequency band is destined to low power and short range fixed or mobile applications. To benefit from high-speed within a compact device, it is required to realize a subsystem combining a directional antenna and a multiplexer with the same technological process. The 3D ceramic stereo lithography process has been selected to ensure the dimensional accuracy and limit the inevitable dispersions. This thesis contributes to achieve directional antennas at 60GHz by a combined antenna design and filter, and perform this function in the same technology the 3D ceramic stereo lithography process when connecting the filter with the antenna. Therefore, the first challenge is to design and to manufacture the primary feed of the directive antenna and the channel filters using the 3D ceramic process. The second challenge is to combine the primary feed and the 4 channel filters to form a single object. The filter-antenna subsystem allows to have a directivity of approximately 14 dBi. Therefore, the radiation of the horn antenna remains unchanged over the whole frequency band [57-66]GHz by associating the manifold multiplexer. The filter-antenna subsystem provides a return loss better than 10 dB at each port.; Dans le cadre des communications numériques sans fil, la vitesse d’échange de données est plus que jamais une caractéristique critique du système. Une augmentation du débit est donc nécessaire pour le développement de nouvelles applications, comme le «Wireless HD» qui doit rendre possible la transmission sans fil de gros volumes de données, telles que de la vidéo «non-compressée» à haute définition, à très haut débit (1-2 Gbps). La bande de fréquence centrée à 60 GHz semble être une solution préférentielle pour répondre à un tel besoin de par sa bande de fréquence disponible (9 GHz). Pour cela, il est nécessaire de disposer de technologies performantes pour l’intégration de systèmes d’émission réception (front-ends) millimétriques pour ces communications à très haut débit. L’objectif de cette thèse est de participer à la réalisation d’un système antennaire très directif à 60 GHz par la conception combinée d’une antenne et d’un filtre, et l’intégration de cette fonction grâce à un même procédé technologique. La conception et l’intégration combinées de l’antenne et du filtre participeront à améliorer le rendement global du sous-système destiné à des applications très haut débit à 60 GHz. Cette thèse, intitulée «Conception de fonctions combinées filtre-antenne pour les communications haut débit à 60 GHz», a été réalisée au sein du laboratoire XLIM, en collaboration avec le SPCTS pour les aspects technologiques, dans le cadre d’un projet régional.

For satellite communication systems, high performance filters are needed in order to reject unwanted signals in many parts of the communication chain. High quality factor (Q) technologies can meet this requirement, but they often lead to bulky devices. On the other hand, compact technologies are generally low Q and suffer from a degradation of electrical performances in terms of insertion loss, selectivity and flatness. To meet a growing demand concerning size reduction, it is essential to develop compact microwave filters with improved electrical performances.For a receive filter, the challenge is to design a compact bandpass filter with a flat response in the passband and a sharp transition in the passband edges. The insertion loss is not crucial and it can be compensated by the amplifier, leaving a room to the design of a lossy filter. Such a filter accepts additional losses, which can be distributed in the network in order to provide a flat transmission in the passband and a sharp selectivity.In this thesis, new synthesis methods for filtering devices have been studied and developed to improve performances while maintaining a small footprint. These methods have been validated for the design of filters for a receiver in payload satellites as part of collaboration between the Xlim laboratory, the France National Space Centre and Thales Alenia Space.; Pour les systèmes de communication par satellite, des filtres avec de très bonnes performances électriques sont indispensables afin de rejeter les signaux indésirables dans de nombreuses parties de la chaîne de communication. Les technologies fort-Q peuvent répondre à cette exigence mais elles conduisent souvent à des dispositifs encombrants. D'autre part, les technologies compactes faible-Q souffrent généralement d'une dégradation des performances électriques en termes de pertes d'insertion, de sélectivité et de platitude. Pour répondre à une demande croissante concernant la réduction de la taille, il est essentiel de développer des filtres hyperfréquences compacts avec des performances électriques améliorées.Pour le filtre de réception, le défi est de concevoir un filtre passe-bande compact avec une réponse plate dans la bande passante et une forte réjection hors bande. Les pertes d'insertion ne sont pas cruciales et peuvent être compensées par un amplificateur en laissant ainsi un espace pour la conception de filtre à pertes. Un tel filtre accepte des pertes supplémentaires, qui peuvent être distribués dans le réseau afin de fournir une transmission plate dans la bande passante et une forte sélectivité hors bande.Dans le cadre de cette thèse, des nouvelles méthodes de synthèse de dispositifs de filtrage ont été étudiées et développées dans le but d’améliorer les performances tout en conservant un encombrement réduit. Ces méthodes ont été validées pour la conception de filtres de récepteur dans la charge utile de satellites de télécommunication dans le cadre d’une collaboration entre le laboratoire Xlim, le Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales et Thales Alenia Space.
