This paper deals with the finite-time stabilization of uncertain static neural networks (USNNs) where impulsive effects, leakage delay and infinite distributed delay are taken into account. Firstly, two types of impulses containing stabilizing impulses (SI) and destabilizing impulses(DI) are considered. Secondly, the designed settling-time relies not just on initial conditions but also on impulse time sequences. Besides, the impulse inputs can be constructed such that a finite time stable system admits a desired upper bound on the settling-time. Finally, two numerical examples with graphical illustrations are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of our theoretical main results.

Plumbago auriculata Lam., a typical distylous plant, undergoes heteromorphic self-incompatibility (HetSI). The use of in vitro flowering allows the early identification of a plant's style morphology, and this process can be used to increase the efficiency of the breeding process and expedite research on the flowering mechanisms of P. auriculata. Here, we used seeds of P. auriculata as explants; obtained plantlets; and assessed the effects of temperature, thermoperiod, photoperiod, and light intensity on the in vitro flowering of the plants. The optimum temperature treatment was a diurnal alternation of 35 °C for 12 h and 25 °C for 12 h. Under these conditions, flower bud formation occurred within approximately 33 d, and the flowering percentage was as high as 91%. A photoperiod of 16 h and a light intensity of 200 µmol m−2 s−1 also promoted in vitro flowering. Under these conditions, flower buds formed within approximately 33 d, and the flowering percentage was approximately 90%. However, relatively long photoperiods and high light intensity suppressed flower bud development, reduced flowering, and shortened flower lifespan. The in vitro flowers had a lighter colour and smaller petals than did the in vivo flowers, although their floral structures (including their reproductive structures) were intact. This work demonstrates a stable system for the induction of in vitro flowering in P. auriculata and describes suitable temperature (35 °C/25 °C) and light (16 h photoperiod and 200 µmol m−2 s−1) conditions for rapid in vitro flowering. This system allows the efficient identification of long and short P. auriculata morphs and allows the formulation of a reasonable cultivation plan. The methods described here provide technical support for the development, utilization, and rapid propagation of excellent new P. auriculata varieties.

The paper presents the results of a comparative assessment of the rate of change in quantitative indicators that characterize the state of regional socioeconomic systems in 2009, 2014 and 2018, depending on the use of strategic planning in the subjects of the Russian Federation.

The paper studies the systems of paired contracts between agents of two complementary groups (workers and firms, students and universities, depositors and banks). Multiple contracts are allowed, as well as flexible contracts when the contract is concluded with some intensity. Agent preferences are described using choice functions. It is shown that if these choice functions satisfy the condition that we call conservativeness, then there are so-called stable systems of contracts, when it is unprofitable for any pair of counterparties to change the concluded contracts. The existence of a stable system of contracts is established using the transfinite process of sequential approximation, which generalizes the classical Gale−Shapley algorithm. As a result, we relieved of the finiteness conditions of the set of contracts. Such properties of stable systems as polarization and latticeness are also studied.

With the rapid development of single‐cell sequencing technology, the Langendorff perfusion system has emerged as a common approach to decompose cardiac tissue and obtain living cardiomyocytes to study cardiovascular disease with the mechanism of cardiomyocyte biology. However, the traditional Langendorff perfusion system is difficult to master, and further, the viability and purity of cardiomyocytes are frequently unable to meet sequencing requirements due to complicated devices and manipulate processes. Here, we provide an optimized Langendorff perfusion system with a simplified and standardized operating protocol which utilizes gravity as the perfusion pressure, includes a novel method for bubbles removing and standardizes the criteria for termination of digestion. We obtained stable cardiomyocyte with high viability and purity after multiple natural gravity sedimentation. The combination of the optimized Langendorff perfusion system and the multiple natural gravity sedimentation provides a stable system for isolating adult mouse heart, which will provide higher‐quality cardiomyocytes for further experiments.

Background. Both in Russia and across the world, the annual frequency of total hip and knee replacement has increased, which has inevitably led to an increase in the number of patients with unsatisfactory treatment outcomes. This failure can primarily be attributed to the complications that arise, some of which arise due to the wrong choice of treatment approach. Aim. To analyze the publications on the results of treatment of patients with hip osteoarthritis and knee osteoarthritis by total hip and knee replacements. Materials and methods. The literature data were searched in open electronic databases of scientific literature PubMed and eLibrary using the following keywords and phrases: total hip/knee replacement, complications, patient satisfaction, age, obesity. The search depth was 20 years. Results. The data indicated a rise in the total number of such patients recorded annually. A significant number of publications, both in Russian and foreign literature, are devoted to the analysis of complications that mainly determine the patients satisfaction with an operation. In addition, these articles analyze the issues of determining the indications and contraindications in applying these methods of treatment. However, it is not uncommon for orthopedists to form a decision for performing an operation based on their subjective experience. At the same time, one of the circumstances that influences the decision-making is the lack of a stable system in the conservative treatment of degenerative joint diseases. According to the data from health care organizations, hip and knee replacements are the only available method for treating osteoarthritis. This circumstance may lead to an unjustified expansion of indications for arthroplasty, which would definitely affect the outcomes of treatment. In this situation, it is critical to search for precise criteria to identify the indication for total hip and knee arthroplasty. Conclusion. Unjustified expansion of indications for endoprosthesis leads to an increase in the number of complications, which in turn leads to an increase in the number of patients who remain unsatisfied with the outcomes of hip and knee arthroplasty in the long term. This circumstance encourages special scientific research to clarify the indications and contraindications for hip and knee replacements, especially in young and middle-aged people.

The research featured relationship between self-regulation and psychological competence of future specialists. The study involved an analysis of theoretical approaches to this problem in domestic and foreign psychology. Psychological competence presupposes developed psychological knowledge and communicative abilities and skills, as well as a stable system of self-regulation that allows for effective management of one's behavior during professional interaction. The author established the features of psychological and communicative competences in students, as well as such regulatory qualities as self-regulation, self-control, and self-efficacy. The research revealed statistically significant relationships between the level of development of psychological and communicative competences and the characteristics of regulatory qualities. A cluster analysis showed three groups of students with different levels of communicative competence and regulatory qualities. The regulatory and communicative components of psychological competence appeared closely interrelated. Self-regulation, self-control, self-efficacy, and communicative skills of future psychologists were the instrumental basis for the development of psychological competence. A well-developed self-regulation helped students understand and control their behavioral reactions. It enabled them to carry out conscious and focused interaction with people in problematic professional situations, as well as contributed to the development of psychological competence during vocational training.

The Hohenberg–Martin dilemma of conserving versus gapless theories for systems with Bose–Einstein condensate is considered. This dilemma states that, generally, a theory characterizing a system with broken global gauge symmetry, which is necessary for Bose–Einstein condensation, is either conserving, but has a gap in its spectrum, or is gapless, but does not obey conservation laws. In other words, such a system either displays a gapless spectrum, which is necessary for condensate existence, but is not conserving, which implies that it corresponds to an unstable system, or it respects conservation laws, describing a stable system, but the spectrum acquires a gap, which means that the condensate cannot appear. An approach is described, resolving this dilemma, and it is shown to give good quantitative agreement with experimental data. Calculations are accomplished in the Hartree–Fock–Bogolubov approximation.

The main goal of banks today is to maintain stability and make sure they are impervious to external shocks while at the same time being internally sound and sensible. Hence, it is important to measure soundness across various banks in the country, identify the weaker sections of the banking sector, devise appropriate strategies and policies to lift these sections and eventually create an environment that leads banks to converge in soundness and result in a consistently stable system. This study analyzes the various aspects of convergence and soundness in the Indian Banking sector by computing the liquidity position of the selected banks with different ratios. In the recent literature, some practical systems have been modeled as interval systems. In this investigation, an improved approximation technique is first proposed for model reduction in single-input-single-output continuous interval systems; then, the proposed technique is extended to reduce multi-input-multi-output continuous interval systems. The proposed technique is based on a multipoint Pade approximation. Additionally, the technique generates a stable model for a given stable system. The results show that the Routh table integrated multipoint Pade approximation is a good way to reduce continuous interval systems.

The stable and metastable phase diagrams between the sinister and the rectus ibuprofen enantiomers were established by means of thermal analysis and X-ray powder diffraction experiments as a function of temperature. The results obtained allow proving for the first time the existence, for the stable system, of a solid solution by mixing the racemic ibuprofen with one of its enantiomers for low concentration of the enantiomer. Since the rectus ibuprofen is a non-active pharmaceutical agent which can be partially bio-converted into the sinister enantiomer, the present work offers a new approach for scalemic mixtures preparation in order to improve the benefit/risk ratio related to ibuprofen solid dosage form administration.

Distributed control algorithms have been frequently adopted in coordinating multiple power electronics interfaced distributed generators (DGs). This work analyzes how the communication delay effects would degrade the performance of distributed secondary controllers in DC microgrids (MGs). Two types of consensus-based controllers are under study: one is the conventional dynamic consensus-based controller and the other is a novel controller based on the surplus consensus algorithm. The steady-state performance of both controllers is analytically derived with considerations of communication delays. The delay-dependent stability regions of both controllers are analyzed, respectively. As the selected system parameter vary, the corresponding marginal delay that transits the stable system to an unstable one is quantified, and the delay dependent-stability boundary is identified using Kernel Ridge Regression (KRR) algorithm. At last, the proposed work is validated with simulation tests and experimental verification.

The Aim of the Article is to present attempts at introducing specialist military education in Vilnius in the last years of the 18th century.

Determinant systems - are systems in which the state of the system can be fully identified at any time even if the implementation of a specific control act or entry leads to a false state, which can be foreseen, then such a system is defined. Namely, the determinant system is a system whose behavior is fully known. Such systems consist of the elements between which precisely defined links exist, and their interconnections are known, so that when we know the prior state and the information processing algorithm we can predict the following state of the system. Governance with defined systems implies the existence of a specific purpose and criterion of governance. With these systems we mean real-material systems that exist in a given environment. Once determined, the timing breaks down to a small or large extent, depending on the changing environment, just as under the influence and influence of the system itself. There is no 100% defined system for this. Stochastic systems - are those in which the application of the controlling or influential action of inputs to the system transforms the known state of the system into one possible state, but not the only action. Stochastic meaning is the opposite of determination. Stochastic meaning is used when we want to mark phenomena (processes) which do not perform according to the prescribed law but contain a random character. Their prediction is based on false probability experience. In the stochastic set of systems belong composite systems, hence systems consisting of a large number of interconnected elements. Often with stochastic systems we refer to systems that cannot be described accurately in the language of mathematics either because the system has a large number of related elements unknown to us or because we know enough about the nature of the phenomena that occur. in the system itself, and therefore we cannot quantitatively describe them. Systems with stochastic behavior are thought of as systems where processes and changes in them are driven by insufficient causes for us. To govern these systems we need to know the probability of the origin of the particular state of the system in which they can be found after the implementation of the particular action (experiments).Equilibrium - is once and for all the right condition. When the system sets a state of equilibrium, then it tends to contain that state regardless of the circumstances that prevail in the surroundings. If the system with external or internal impact is removed from the equilibrium state and if it returns to equilibrium state even after the effects of those triggers are stopped, then it is a stable system. The stable system has the specified equilibrium time and does not change location and condition without the influence of external forces. Labile system - after exerting force from outside it returns to the previous state again with the help of another force. The system with large entropy does not return on its own. Label system processes usually progress and we stop them as needed. Indifferent systems - take the position and remain n and remain in it depending on the force acting on it.

An analytical investigation in a vertical fluid saturated porous layer distant from the axis of rotation is presented when vibration occurs in the presence of a stable temperature gradient. A linear stability analysis is used to determine the convection threshold in terms of the critical Rayleigh number for variation within the porous layer and for the offset distance from the axis of rotation. The results indicate that the presence of vibration in a stable system serves to reduce the Rayleigh numbers (both within the porous layer and due to offset from the axis of rotation), thus destabilizing the system when a stabilizing temperature gradient exists.

Conventional wisdom among strategists and historians of strategy has long held that stability was inherent to the logic of rational nuclear deterrence. This essay shows the conventional wisdom to be mistaken. It examines the technical practice of Thomas Schelling, who introduced the stability idea in a classic 1958 paper. Celebrated as a game theorist, Schelling was actually trained as a Keynesian macroeconomic modeler during the second half of the 1940s. In 1958, he used Keynesian techniques to frame deterrence as a stable system of dynamic adjustment, akin to the stable macroeconomic system he had modeled as a young economist. Among Schelling's fellow strategists, stability quickly became popular as a rationalization for their preferred nuclear deployment policies.

The weak-signal detection approaches based on stochastic resonance (SR) are beneficial in detecting weak vibration signals from strong background noise. Therefore, many SR-based methods for mechanical incipient fault diagnosis appear. Among various nonlinear SR models, the underdamped tri-stable SR system, which has better output performance than other ones, has shown its potential superiority in weak-signal detection. The shortcomings for this model include its nonstandard forms of nonlinear potential functions and its inadequate research on parameter-adjusting mechanism for parameter-fixed noisy signals. In order to solve these issues, a standard tri-stable SR system is introduced in this paper and its SR performance is studied. Furthermore, a multi-parameter-adjusting SR (MPASR) model for the standard tri-stable system is proposed and its parameter adjustment rules for different input signals to produce SR are fully studied. At last, we propose a weak-signal detection method based on MPASR of the standard tri-stable system and employ two practical examples to demonstrate its feasibility in incipient fault diagnosis.

Epilepsy is a global epidemic and 30% of the 60 million patients do not respond to medication treatment. The only treatment options for patients with medically refractory epilepsy are surgical removal or electrical stimulation of the epileptogenic zone (EZ) i.e. the source of their seizures. Despite extensive evaluations with neuroimaging, visual EEG analysis and clinical testing, surgical success rates vary between 30-70%. Currently, no computational methods have been translated into the clinic to assist in localizing the EZ. Here, we applied a dynamical network model that quantifies the fragility of nodes within a patient9s intracranial EEG (iEEG) brain network. Fragility is quantified as the minimal amount of perturbation that must to be applied to a node9s influence on a "balanced" network to cause imbalance. Here, a balanced network is one in which the connectivity between excitatory and inhibitory nodes render a stable system, and an imbalanced network is unstable and hence can generate seizures. Using iEEG data from 91 patients treated across 5 epilepsy centers (44 successes, 47 failures), we demonstrated that nodal fragility is greater in electrodes within the EZ. In addition, we compared fragility of iEEG nodes to 7 frequency-based and 14 graph theoretic features of the EZ in both seizure (n=91) and non-seizure data (n=54). We calculated a confidence statistic, defined as the ratio of the value of a given feature averaged across electrodes in the clinically annotated seizure onset zone to its average across all other electrodes. Fragility has a significantly greater effect size difference between surgical outcomes when compared to other features. This novel feature, outperformed the most popular iEEG features when comparing across surgical outcomes, possibly defining a superior network-based EEG fingerprint for the EZ.

It can be alarm systems are extremely important. This article uses STM32f407VGT6 as the core indoor intelligent alarm system [1], and measures and detects in the real environment. After comparison and analysis, under the same function, compare the STM32f401 and 51 series single-chip microcomputers as the core system to detect indoor temperature and humidity. Detection [5], and outdoor infrared ranging [6], have higher, more accurate, and reliable measurement results, and a more stable system, which greatly improves energy efficiency.

This study provides new evidence of the presence of an ancient Roman road in correspondence to a paleobeach ridge now submerged in the Venice Lagoon (Italy). New high resolution underwater seafloor data shed new light on the significance of the Roman remains in the lagoon. The interpretation of the data through archive and geo-archaeological research allowed a three-dimensional architectural reconstruction of the Roman road. The presence of the ancient Roman road confirms the hypothesis of a stable system of Roman settlements in the Venice Lagoon. The study highlights the significance of this road in the broader context of the Roman transport system, demonstrating once more the Roman ability to adapt and to handle complex dynamic environments that were often radically different from today.
