The aim of this study is to test the longitudinal effect of interventions for psychological teaching content. Researches had shown that learners have difficulties in learning from textbook materials. This study wants to investigate the longitudinal effect by using elaborative interrogation to enhance test performance.

Die Publikationsreihe spe/ecial aeffects zeigt fünf Projekte von Vermittlungsstrategien künstlerischer Interventionen im öffentlichen Raum. Grundlage war eine künstlerisch forschende Auseinandersetzung mit letzterem. Auf Basis dieser wurden Kunstschulen in ihrem institutionellen Auftrag sowie Künstler*innen in Ausbildung angeregt, künstlerische Interventionen als politisch wirksames Instrument im sozialen Feld zu erproben. Dabei handelte es sich um einen modellhaften Versuch diese Akteur*innen für gesellschaftliche Veränderungsprozesse durch/mit/über Kunst zu sensibilisieren. Sara Schwienbacher stellt die Projekte als künstlerisch forschende dar und nutzt ihr Erfahrungswissen durch die Arbeit mit der Kunstfigur, „rosa me“ um sie zu reflektieren und einem Diskursfeld zu platzieren. Die Katalogreihe versucht damit den Dokumentationsbegriff im Kulturbereich neu zu denken und vermittelt collageartig, mit ästhetischen Dokumentationsformen unterschiedliche Herangehensweisen und Wege der Wissensgenerierung aller Beteiligten. Publizieren wird als Teil einer künstlerischen Praxis innerhalb kultureller Bildungsprojekte verstanden. Die Suche nach einem adäquaten Format des Dokumentierens für Künstler*innen wird zur Leitfrage. Durch Praxis entstehen vielschichtige Erkenntnisprozesse, die dann in Publikationen sichtbar werden. Polymers have found widespread applications in cardiology, in particular in coronary vascular intervention as stent platforms (scaffolds) and coating matrices for drug-eluting stents. Apart from permanent polymers, current research is focussing on biodegradable polymers. Since they degrade once their function is fulfilled, their use might contribute to the reduction of adverse events like in-stent restenosis, late stent-thrombosis, and hypersensitivity reactions. After reviewing current literature concerning polymers used for cardiovascular applications, this review deals with parameters of tissue and blood cell functions which should be considered to evaluate biocompatibility of stent polymers in order to enhance physiological appropriate properties. The properties of the substrate on which vascular cells are placed can have a large impact on cell morphology, differentiation, motility, and fate. Finally, methods to assess these parameters under physiological conditions will be summarized.

The health care region Baltic Coast is within the framework of the joint project HICARE (Health, Innovative Care & Regional Economy) to be developed from January 2011 to December 2014 into a model region to combat the spread of multi-resistant organisms (MRO). The concept of the project area “IT & Epidemiology” will be introduced here. An IT system is to be developed and implemented consisting of two interconnected elements, a central data management and a web-based support system for information and decision. Particular challenges are the consolidation of data decentrally collected from numerous and heterogeneous data sources, compliance with the data privacy protection laws and the complex management of patients’ informed consent. The information collected by the central data management will be the basis of epidemiological evaluations. Prevalence and incidence of MRO in patients and staff of medical facilities, single risk factors as well as risk profiles, the range and extent of treatments including their effectiveness and sustainability will be investigated.
