To overcome the limitations of pavement skid resistance prediction using the friction coefficient, a geneticalgorithm-improved neural network (GAI-NN) was developed in this study. First, three-dimensional (3D) point-cloud data of an asphalt pavement surface were obtained using a smart sensor (Gocator 3110). The friction coefficient of the pavement was then obtained using a pendulum friction tester. The 3D point-cloud dataset was then analyzed to recover the missing data and perform denoising. In particular, these data were filled using cubic spline interpolation. Parameters for texture characterization were defined, and methods for computing the parameters were developed. Finally, the GAI-NN model was developed by modifying the weights and thresholds. The test results indicated that using pavement surface texture 3D data, the GAI-NN was capable of predicting the pavement friction coefficient with sufficient accuracy, with an error of 12.1%. Dans le but d'ameliorer la prediction de la resistance au derapage d'une chaussee a l'aide du coefficient de frottement, un reseau de neurones ameliore par algorithme genetique (RN-AAG) a ete developpe dans le cadre de cette etude. Tout d'abord, les donnees en nuage de points tridimensionnelles (3D) d'une chaussee d'asphalte ont ete obtenues a l'aide d'un capteur intelligent (Gocator 3110). Le coefficient de frottement de la chaussee a ensuite ete obtenu a l'aide d'un instrument pendulaire d'essai de friction. L'ensemble de donnees en nuage de points 3D a ensuite ete analyse pour recuperer les donnees manquantes et effectuer le debruitage. En particulier, ces donnees ont ete determinees en utilisant l'interpolation de fonction spline cubique. Des parametres de caracterisation de la texture ont ete definis et des methodes de calcul des parametres ont ete elaborees. Enfin, le modele RN-AAG a ete developpe par modification des ponderations et des seuils. Les resultats des essais ont indique qu'a l'aide de donnees 3D sur la texture de la surface de la chaussee, le RN-AAG etait capable de predire le coefficient de frottement de la chaussee avec une precision suffisante, avec une erreur de 12,1 %. The design of Type B radioactive transport package should be able to withstand the fire accident scenario in transportation accident conditions. For the simulation of the fire scenario, there are mainly three methods: pool fire test, furnace test and thermal radiation test. This paper tried to carry out the fire test with the furnace method that the conditions in the furnace can be more carefully controlled. The paper described the requirements of fire test, test conditions and measurement test methods and analysed the temperature change of fire site and the heat flux data of the surface of the package during the fire test. Neuromorphic vision based on photonic synapses has the ability to mimic sensitivity, adaptivity, and sophistication of bio‐visual systems. Significant advances in artificial photosynapses are achieved recently. However, conventional photosyanptic devices normally employ opaque metal conductors and vertical device configuration, performing a limited hemispherical field of view. Here, a transparent planar photonic synapse (TPPS) is presented that offers dual‐side photosensitive capability for nearly panoramic neuromorphic vision. The TPPS consisting of all two dimensional (2D) carbon‐based derivatives exhibits ultra‐broadband photodetecting (365–970 nm) and ≈360° omnidirectional viewing angle. With its intrinsic persistent photoconductivity effect, the detector possesses bio‐synaptic behaviors such as short/long‐term memory, experience learning, light adaptation, and a 171% pair‐pulse‐facilitation index, enabling the synapse array to achieve image recognition enhancement (92%) and moving object detection. Toxoplasma gondii is an obligate intracellular apicomplexan parasite that infects almost all warm-blooded vertebrates. Heat shock proteins (HSP) regulate key signal transduction events in many organisms, and heat shock protein 90 (Hsp90) plays an important role in growth, development, and virulence in several parasitic protozoa. Here, we discovered increased transcription of the Hsp90 gene under conditions for bradyzoite differentiation, i.e. alkaline and heat shock conditions in vitro, suggesting that Hsp90 may be connected with bradyzoite development in T. gondii. A knockout of the TgHsp90 strain (ΔHsp90) and a complementation strain were constructed. The TgHsp90 knockout cells were found to be defective in host-cell invasion, were not able to proliferate in vitro in Vero cells, and did not show long-time survival in mice in vivo. These inabilities of the knockout parasites were restored upon complementation of TgHsp90. These data unequivocally show that TgHsp90 contributes to bradyzoite development, and to invasion and replication of T. gondii in host cells.
