2-amino-4, 6-dichloro-1,3, 5-triazine (ADCT), with its triazine ring structure, was introduced into methoxy polyethylene glycol (MPEG), and MPEG with a triazine ring structure (ADMT) was prepared by grafting the -OH of MPEG at the position 4 and 6 of the triazine ring. ADMT was loaded onto the carrier material, graphene oxide (GO), to obtain the form-stable phase change material (FSPCM). FSPCM was blended with polypropylene (PP) using a twin-screw extruder. PP/FSPCM blends with mass ratios of 5%, 10% and 15% of FSPCM were prepared. ADMT, FSPCM and PP/ FSPCM blended materials were characterized by using 1H NMR, FT-IR, DSC and hot table test. The results show that the crystallization enthalpy of FSPCM is 96.1 J · g-1, and FSPCM still retains a good form-setting effect at 250 °C. The enthalpy transformation is 9.10 J · g-1 and the enthalpy efficiency is 60.7% when the mass ratio of PP/FSPCM is 10%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To solve the problems of low flame retardant performance in the use of acrylic resin, a flame-retardant acrylic resin coating PA-IFR was prepared by adding intumescent flame retardants (IFR) composed of ammonium polyphosphate (APP), pentaerythritol (PER) and melamine (MEL) to the acrylic resin emulsion by combining ultrasonic and mechanical stirring. The chemical structure, transmittance, hardness and flame retardant properties of PA-IFR were tested by infrared spectrometer, X-ray diffractometer, pencil hardness tester and limiting oxygen index meter. The results show that the hardness of the PA-IFR reaches 5H and the limiting oxygen index (LOI) value reaches 32.6% when the mass fraction of the FR is 30% and the formula ratio of APP/PER/MEL is 2 : 1 : 1. To solve the problems of easy leakage and low thermal conductivity in the use of phase change materials-methoxy polyethylene glycol (MPEG), a shaped phase change material FSPCM with spongy graphene oxide (SG) as the carrier was prepared by a combination of chemical and physical methods. The chemical structure, phase change properties, high temperature thermal deformation effect of FSPCM were tested using infrared spectrometer, Raman spectrometer, differential scanning calorimeter, thermal bench and thermal conductivity meter. The results indicate that MPEG is successfully loaded onto SG by physical adsorption and esterification. The phase transition temperature is 37.5 °C and the melting enthalpy is 129.7 J/g when the mass fraction of SG in FSPCM is 6%, with an enthalpy efficiency of 95.2%, and the high temperature heat setting effect is still good at 250 °C. After blending FSPCM with polypropylene (PP), the phase change temperature of the blended material is 32.9 °C and the melting enthalpy is 12.1 J/g. The thermal conductivity of the blended material is improved by 35% compared with that of pure PP, indicating that the shaped phase change material is expected to be used in polypropylene phase change fibers. All‐cellulose composite (ACC) membranes were prepared with cellulose and cellulose nano whisker (CNW) extracted from corn stalk by using NaOH/thiourea as solvent. CNW was isolated via acid hydrolysis method and the yield, size distribution and morphology of CNW were investigated. ACC Membranes were characterized via SEM, XRD, TGA as well as water flux and were further plasticized with glycerol aqueous solution. The mechanical property and transparency of ACC membranes before and after plasticization were compared. CNW prepared with 63% sulfuric acid for 60 min of hydrolysis time had the biggest ratio of length to diameter and moderate yield. ACC membrane with 5% CNW content had the highest tensile strength and the structure of ACC membranes was observed clearly in SEM images. TGA testing indicated that the initial degradation temperature tended to lower after CNW was introduced into membrane. The radial crystallization difference of polypropylene (PP) fiber along spinning line was investigated via synchrotron radiation microbeam X‐ray diffraction (μ‐XRD) analysis for the first time. Running fibers were collected at different spinning line positions to study its radial crystallization difference. The distribution of crystallinity, crystal form, and crystal size of PP fiber were obtained based on peak deconvolution. The relation between radial crystallization difference and processing condition was also investigated. The results indicate that the crystallinity of PP in the center region is found higher than the surface due to the radial temperature gradient during melt spinning, and the structure of fiber is highly sensitive to the radial temperature gradient. The crystallinity increased along spinning line and reaches a steady rate after 50 cm of spinning line position. The crystallite size increased before 50 cm of spinning line position and has a slight decrease after 50 cm due to the growth and splitting of crystal. These results display a 2D view of crystallization development of fiber during the melt spinning and give us a basic knowledge about the relation between structure evolution and processing conditions both in axis and radial directions. © 2018 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
