The Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry, particularly within the domain of music concerts, stands poised for significant enhancement in Indonesia. It is worth noting that Indonesia has successfully hosted numerous international music concerts; however, there is still considerable room for growth compared to other ASEAN countries. This study employs theory synthesis to achieve conceptual integration as a research framework construct by combining the FoMO phenomenon, which is currently prevalent due to the rise of social networking sites (SNS), with different policies facilitating music concerts in Indonesia. This review study aims to achieve its research objectives and establish that the Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) phenomenon can significantly enhance music performance ticket sales. This is achieved by constructing the FoMO trait and the Bergen Facebook Addiction Scale, then classifying products according to each concert theme, whether virtual or physical. By capitalizing on the ubiquitous presence of social networking sites (SNS) and the heightened Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) phenomenon post-COVID-19, we anticipate significant improvements. This conceptual study can serve as a valuable resource for enhancing research on the optimization of music concerts, which is also an area that is still underexplored, particularly in Indonesia.

In terms of satisfaction connected to health and safety, advancement in career, self-esteem and actualization, recognition, rewards, physical working environment, and management relationship, quality of work life (QWL) is a contributing aspect to increased levels of satisfaction among employees. To ascertain the current status of work-life linkage while taking into account the demographics of chosen hotels in India and the characteristics of the quality of work-life practices is the objective of this study. Additionally, the study was able to determine the differences in the demographic profile of the hotels that responded to the survey. Descriptive statistics, reliability tests, Spearman's correlation, Levene's Test of Homogeneity, and Kruskal Wallis tests were utilised by the author in order to arrive at the conclusions that were drawn. In Indian hotels, the existence of QWL procedures was found to be lacking, according to the findings of the study. The dimensions of QWL and the demographic profile of the hotels were shown to have significant relationships with one another. This study has the potential to be utilised as a practical reference for implementing quality of work life (QWL) initiatives for the hotel sector. It can also serve as a tool for doing future research on other areas of job satisfaction.

Before new trends emerge after the COVID pandemic is over, this paper aims to examine the development of recent research trends in the theories and methods applied to studies of local communities' behaviours towards environmental protection in the years 2018–2021. This paper presents a review of more than one thousand local communities' environmental conservation behaviours that was published between 2018 and 2021. The purpose of this research is to achieve its objective. Following that, content analysis was performed on the articles that were pertinent. In order to clarify, categorise, and interpret the current research on rural tourism definitions and applications, a classification scheme and an extensive literature review have been presented in this article. Both of these elements are presented in this paper. A total of 38 academic papers from 25 different journals published between the years 2018 and 2021 are included in this review's classification scheme. These papers are organised according to their use of one of five primary keywords: local, community, environmental, conservation, or behaviour. The fact that the articles under consideration in this research were only found in the Scopus database represents a potential limitation of the bibliometric mapping. This research contributes to the existing body of knowledge by conducting a bibliometric review of studies that have already investigated locals' perspectives on tourism, and this review adds to the tourism literature by analysing the growing trend of looking at how different communities' actions affect environmental protection. Future research on these trends can be guided by identifying where the gaps in knowledge currently exist.

Developments in the era of globalization are in the world's spotlight, not only on differences in mindset but also on many aspects. One of them is the impact on the existence of culture in Indonesia. This fact drives companies in Indonesia to reintroduce Indonesian culture through advertising. An example is the Visit Central Java version of the KukuBima Ener-G advertisement explored in this study, intending to take an essential role in contributing to presenting local content that specifically raises the cultural side of Central Java. This study also aims at seeing the cultural values embedded in Javanese society, namely the Kejawen, which is implied in the KukuBima Ener-G advertisement. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach and data collection techniques using John Fiske's Semiotics Method to analyze more deeply the content of advertisements based on the Social Code Theory initiated by Edward T. Hall. This study explores deeper in terms of the strategy of cultural visual but still displays the brand image. The results of this study lead to the emergence of a number of Kejawen from the aspect of Low Context Culture and High Context Culture in each advertising scene.

The advent of 5G technology is poised to usher in a new epoch for the hospitality industry, not just as a technological upgrade, but as a transformative force reshaping guest experiences and operational efficiencies. The integration of 5G technology in the hospitality industry can enhance the guest experience by providing personalized services and smart room controls. However, ensuring strong and uninterrupted mid-band coverage is a significant barrier to implementing 5G in hospitality. Successful AI applications in hospitality include personalized recommendations and chatbots that automate routine tasks. The absorptive capacity of the hospitality industry is critical for leveraging external knowledge for competitive advantage. The worldwide expansion of the COVID-19 virus has provoked a worldwide emergency, especially in the travel and hospitality industries. The aftermath of this crisis is potentially more significant than those caused by previous events such as 9/11, SARS, and the Great Recession of 2008. The pandemic has disrupted the supply chain within the tourism industry, affecting stakeholders in tourism destinations worldwide. Malaysia has been particularly impacted, with tourist arrivals dropping below what was recorded in 2000, almost two decades ago. This study examines the issues and obstacles faced by Malaysian stakeholders in the tourism industry due to the widespread occurrence of the COVID-19 virus and discusses its theoretical background and impacts. The paper concludes with managerial recommendations to overcome both short- and long-term challenges while minimizing the impact on the global economy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
