Objective: To assess the maternal and perinatal outcome in pregnant women with HIV infection and the role of Antiretroviral therapy in reducing complications of pregnancy. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on data from HIV-positive mothers receiving antenatal care at a tertiary care center between February 2015 and January 2020. The study examined various adverse pregnancy outcomes in relation to antiretroviral treatment. Statistical analysis employed chi-square and Fisher’s exact tests to determine differences in distribution proportions of patients on ART versus those not on ART across various antenatal and neonatal complications, with significance attributed to p-values

This study compares conventional turning (CT) and ultrasonic vibration-assisted turning (UVAT) in machining hardened AISI 52100 steel (62 HRC) with a PVD-coated TiAlSiN carbide tool. UVAT experiments, utilizing an ultrasonic frequency of 20 kHz and vibration amplitude of 20 µm, varied the cutting speed, feed, and depth of cut. Remarkably, UVAT reduced tool wear, extending tool longevity. Surprisingly, power consumption showed no significant differences between CT and UVAT. Mathematical models based on experimental data highlight the substantial impact of the cutting speed on tool wear, followed closely by the depth of cut. For power consumption, the depth of cut took precedence, with the cutting speed and feed rate playing pronounced roles in UVAT. This emphasizes the potential for further research on machinability, particularly exploring different vibration directions on the tool in feed, tangential, and radial aspects.

The Hydrodynamic characteristics has been considered for routing in Wireless Sensor Networks by various researchers and presented several methods. The flow and friction based routing approaches would produces sustainable results but would not improve the QoS. To improve the performance of F2VHDR (Flow –Flow-Friction-Velocity Based Hydro Dynamic Routing), this paper present BF2VHDR (Back Flow –Flow-Friction-Velocity Based Hydro Dynamic Routing) algorithm. The F2VHDR method misses the back flow of packets due to route failure or higher traffic conditions which affects the service performance. As a solution to this, the BF2VHDR algorithm is presented. The proposed BF2VHDR approach monitors the flow in both the sides of the route. The back flow occurs when it exist a route failure and higher traffic. Also, it may occur when the routing protocol of the other nodes would choose the reverse route as a best way to reach the same destination. Monitoring the back flow, general route flow, friction by traffic and velocity measures, the proposed method computes backward hydrology routing weight and forward hydrology routing weight. Using both the measures, the proposed method computes a route support weight for each route which has been used to perform route selection. The proposed approach improves the performance of throughput and increases the lifetime of the sensor nodes.

The demand for memory capacity has increased, and cloud energy usage has soared. The performance and scalability of virtualization interfaces in cloud computing are hampered by a lack of sufficient memory. To figure out this problem, a technique defined as memory deduplication is widely used to reduce memory consumption utilizing the page-sharing method. However, this method of memory deduplication using KSM has significant drawbacks, such as overhead owing to many online comparisons, which will consume so many CPU resources. In this research, a modified approach of Memory Deduplication of Static Memory Pages (mSMD), which is based on the identification of similar applications by Fuzzy hashing and clustering them using the Hierarchical Agglomerative Clustering approach, followed by similarity detection between static memory pages based on Genetic Algorithm and details stored in Multilevel shared page table, both operations performed in offline and final memory deduplication is carried out during online, is proposed for achieving performance optimization in virtual machines by reducing memory capacity requirements. When compared to existing techniques, the simulation results indicate that the proposed approach mSMD efficaciously minimizes the memory capacity required while improving performance. Introduction Tobacco dependence is a chronic disease that often requires repeated intervention and multiple attempts to quit. Effective treatment exists however, that can significantly increase rates of long-term abstinence. Our objective was to evaluate the perceptions and primary domains of attitudes of dental students with reference to tobacco cessation counselling. Methods The study involved 62 male students and 138 female students, for a total of 200 responses, in Andhra Pradesh, India. Principle component analysis with varimax rotation was used to identify inter-item associations, to check for rudimentary items, and to establish underlying constructs among items. Internal consistency and reliability were assessed using Cranbach’s alpha. Two principle-component analyses were conducted.
