Purpose: substantiation of criteria for the effectiveness of technology for restoring the quality of life of young people with metabolic syndrome and chronic pain by means of physical therapy. Material and methods: The study involved 97 young women with metabolic syndrome and chronic pain in the musculoskeletal system. The study used general scientific methods - the method of a systemic approach and systemic analysis, bibliosemantic, content analysis, the method of conceptual modeling and empirical methods - anthropometric, physiological, clinical, sociological, the method of expert assessments, mathematical and statistical research methods. The information base of the study was sources of professional scientific, reference, directive information and the results of our own research, the representativeness and reliability of which are proven by medical and statistical calculations. Results: Based on the results of factor analysis and taking into account the results of correlation analysis, the criteria for the effectiveness of the proposed technology were developed. In the process of developing the criteria, the machine learning method was used - modeling with multidimensional adaptive regression splines MARSplines. This method made it possible to find mutually agreed indicators and, according to the criterion, select those of them that are more convenient to diagnose. Conclusions: based on determining the ratio of body length and weight and waist to hip circumference, the dynamics of the BMI index and static back strength, as well as the results of the dynamics of quality of life indicators, it is possible to determine the degree of influence of the means and methods of the author's technology on the quality of life and pain syndrome of women with MS, and also to establish the degree of effect.

Purpose. To study the dynamics of the function of the lower limb and gait of patients after knee replacement using physical therapy. Material & Methods. Patients were randomly distributed into groups – control (CG) and study (MG), each group – 12 people (n=24). The groups received a rehabilitation intervention according to the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) concept. For each person, a categorical profile was created and SMART goals were set. The developed program of physical therapy (PT) for the MG, taking into account short-term goals in a SMART format, included the use of kinesitherapy according to the author’s method, hydrokinesitherapy and physiotherapy. Lower limb function and gait were assessed before and after the intervention using the Visual Analogue Pain Scale (VAS), goniometry, Tegner-Lusholm scale and Timed Up and Go (TUG) Test. Results. VAS pain scores showed significant dynamics in both groups, but without a significant difference between the groups (p>0,05). Background and Study Aim. The main demand after surgical treatment of the injury is to restore motor function and return to an active lifestyle. The inclusion of effective therapeutic exercises in the rehabilitation program will help to restore the physical activity of patients. The aim of the study is to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of a set of therapeutic exercises to restore the movements of the lower extremities of patients after surgery. Material and Methods. The program involved 14 patients who were randomized (n=6 - control group, CG; n=8 - main group, MG). All patients gave their informed consent to participate in the experiment and to the processing of their personal data. It was used the following scales: “6 minute walk test”, “Knee injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score” (KOOS). The International Classification of Functioning (ICF) categories were assessed and program objectives were set. Conducted individual classes according to the developed rehabilitation program in the MG and the generally accepted in the CG. Purpose: to develop and explain a modern program of physical therapy for people with posttraumatic elbow contractures during the late post-operative period using rating scales for the separate categories of International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) to assess the effectiveness of rehabilitation. Material and methods: the study involved 17 patients aged 28 to 50 years. The control group (CG) – 9 people (4 women, 5 men) and main group (MG) – 8 people (3 women, 5 men) were selected. The program of physical therapy in MG patients included ultrasound therapy with immediate follow-up mobilization techniques for the elbow joint in addition to conventional means. Goniometry, manual muscle testing, questionnaires Quick Disability of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand Outcome Measure (QuickDASH), Patient-rated elbow evaluation (PREE), were defined as rating scales according to literature review. Purpose: to evaluate the effectiveness of inclusion of exercises for spatula stabilizers in physical therapy (PhT) of patients with chronic dumentary tendopathy of the elbow joint (DTEJ). Material and methods: a three-month study involving 32 patients who were divided into two groups – the main (MG) – 17 people and the control (CG) – 15. MG of patients performed an PhT program consisting of: patient training, exercises for the shoulder blade and forearm (elbow/wrist), deep soft tissue massage in conjunction with Mill’s manipulation, phonophoresis with hydrocortitisone. CG of patients had the same program, but without exercise for spatula stabilizers. Evaluation of results according to the criteria – determination of the intensity of pain syndrome (visual analog scale -VAS); measurement of muscle strength of the forearm and brush (dynamometry); test questionnaire of the functional state of the upper limb – Disability of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand Outcome Measure (DASH). Results: the authors identified the features of PhT use for rehabilitation of patients with DTEJ with exercises for shoulder blade stabilizers in combination with deep soft tissue massage and Mill manipulation.
