This diploma thesis was created to gain and write down the main findings about the issue of social support and its influence on the school success of students of selected grammar schools, and secondary vocational schools in Pilsen region. The findings are divided into three chapters, in which the basic findings are defined, which are based on professional literature and foreign studies in the given areas. In these chapters, concepts such as self- concept, adolescence, motivation, school success and failure, social network and three basic components of human formation in the form of family, school and peer group are defined. The research part focuses on the processing of the data, which was obtained through a standardized questionnaire, the Child and Adolescent Social Support Questionnaire (CASSS-CZ), supplemented with demographic data. There were 310 students participating in the questionnaire survey. The obtained data were processed with using the statistical method of correlation, descriptive statistics and the statistical tool of one-factor ANOVA. After analyzing the data, we concluded that social support is important for an individual and his/her school success. However, at the same time, its level is not different with respect to the gender of the individual or the type of school which he/she...

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of support of the development of tactile perception through the material Tactual Profile. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to create an individual plan for the development of tactile perception of a selected pupil with visual impairment using the Tactual Profile material. The partial goal was to evaluate the individual child development plan. And the research question was set for the above objectives: How did the Tactual Profile contribute to the development of tactile perception in case of the chosen pupil? The thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is divided into two chapters. The first chapter deals with the definition of the terms of visual impairment, etiology, classification. The second chapter is concerned with education of pupils with visual impairment, i.e. institutional and legislative anchoring, special pedagogical care, and re-education and compensation possibilities, which include tactile and auditory perception or higher compensatory senses. The practical part includes three chapters. The third chapter defines the aims of the work and the methodical procedure, including the introduction of the Tactual Profile method, and the child educated in the kindergarten, who was the subject of the research. The qualitative strategy in case study design using methods of document analysis, participating observation and interview with teachers is used to fulfil the objectives of this work. The fourth chapter presents proposals of special pedagogical interventions for individual development of the monitored child. The final fifth chapter is dedicated to summary and discussion.

- Abstract
Více než polovina pacientů očekávala nižší intenzitu bolesti, než jakou nakonec skutečně prožila., This bachelor thesis deals with pain in postoperative care. In theoretical part, the aspects of postoperative pain are described as well as pharmacological and nonpharmacological methods of analgesia. The empirical part is focused on the progress of pain depending of time during first 24 hours and patient´s satisfaction with pain treatment. At the same time, the correlation between age and pain intensity is investigated. The last thing to asses is the relation of the expected and experienced postoperative pain. It was revealed that the pain wasn´t treated well in the time 8 hours after the surgery despite the fact patients were in most of cases satisfied with the pain treatment. The relation between age and pain intensity wasn´t clearly proved. More than half of the patients expected lower pain intensity than they really experienced., Fakulta zdravotnických studií, Hodnocení vedoucího: A Hodnocení oponenta: B Doplňující otázky k obhajobě: 1. This thesis aims to research hashtags on Instagram via the semiotics analysis. The research is based on Leoš Mareš's Instagram profile, which is one of the most successful accounts within the Czech environment, and uses specific types of hashtags. Therefore, it provides a quality data corpus for the research. At the beginning of the thesis the subject of semiotics is introduced, also other key terms, such as meaning, sign, semantics, pragmatics, and syntactic, denotation and connotation, and language tropes. Following there is an introduction of the new media, Instagram, and hashtags. Hashtags are described within the Twitter background, since most of the studies are focused on hashtags on Twitter. The practical part of this thesis is based on Morris's division of semiotics, which is syntactic, semantics, and pragmatics. It studies how hashtags follow and refer to each other, what is the relationship between the photograph and hashtags, and what are the assumptions for understanding the whole post. At the end of the thesis the findings are summarized, and the patterns of hashtags' occurrence are shown.

Restoring the structural characteristics of secondary old-growth forests that were previously managed is increasingly debated to help increase the area of more complex forests which provide a broader array of forest services and functions. The paucity of long-term data sets in Central Europe has limited our ability to understand the ongoing ecological processes required for effective restoration programs for old-growth forests. To address this, we used repeated census data from eight permanent plots to evaluate forest structural dynamics over a 12-year period in the largest complex of European beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) forests in the Czech Highlands without intensive forestry intervention for almost 50 years. Our results showed that previously managed forests can exhibit structural qualities typically associated with old-growth forests after management has ceased for a period. The stand structural characteristics (e.g., density of large and old trees) is comparable with protected reserves of old-growth European beech-dominated forests. The average stand age was 196 years, but the oldest tree was 289 years old. The annual mortality rate was 0.43% for all species, and the U-shaped distribution indicating size-dependent mortality is likely an important process that is balanced by the turnover of new tree recruitment. During the study period, we detected that the diameter distribution tended towards a rotated sigmoid distribution. The lasting effects of the most recent forest management are evident in the scarcity of dead wood, and a prolonged process of dead wood accumulation has begun. Thus, the abandonment of all management activities in near-natural forest reserves, including dead wood removal, will ensure that the forests will develop characteristics typical of old-growth forests. Abstract: Determining the drivers of shifting forest disturbance rates remains a pressing global change issue. Large‐scale forest dynamics are commonly assumed to be climate driven, but appropriately scaled disturbance histories are rarely available to assess how disturbance legacies alter subsequent disturbance rates and the climate sensitivity of disturbance. We compiled multiple tree ring‐based disturbance histories from primary
Picea abies forest fragments distributed throughout five European landscapes spanning the Bohemian Forest and the Carpathian Mountains. The regional chronology includes 11,595 tree cores, with ring dates spanning the years 1750–2000, collected from 560 inventory plots in 37 stands distributed across a 1,000 km geographic gradient, amounting to the largest disturbance chronology yet constructed in Europe. Decadal disturbance rates varied significantly through time and declined after 1920, resulting in widespread increases in canopy tree age. Approximately 75% of current canopy area recruited prior to 1900. Long‐term disturbance patterns were compared to an historical drought reconstruction, and further linked to spatial variation in stand structure and contemporary disturbance patterns derived from LANDSAT imagery. Historically, decadal Palmer drought severity index minima corresponded to higher rates of canopy removal. The severity of contemporary disturbances increased with each stand's estimated time since last major disturbance, increased with mean diameter, and declined with increasing within‐stand structural variability. Reconstructed spatial patterns suggest that high small‐scale structural variability has historically acted to reduce large‐scale susceptibility and climate sensitivity of disturbance. Reduced disturbance rates since 1920, a potential legacy of high 19th century disturbance rates, have contributed to a recent region‐wide increase in disturbance susceptibility. Increasingly common high‐severity disturbances throughout primaryPicea forests of Central Europe should be reinterpreted in light of both legacy effects (resulting in increased susceptibility) and climate change (resulting in increased exposure to extreme events). interim proceeding ,předběžná opatření ,precautionary measures ,zajišťovací řízení - Abstract
1 Resumé Preliminary Ruling In some situations, it is not possible to wait for the court judgement in the case itself. Then there is the need for providing the legal protection of these rights before the meritorious judgement, for otherwise there would be a risk that the judgement in the case itself would have no real consequence or it would be impossible to execute. For this reason the institute of precautionary measures was established. This institute is an extraordinary instrument of temporary law protection, which should be naturally followed by the proceeding in the case itself. However, a proceeding in case of precautionary measures is basically an independent proceeding, and its result does not prejudge the court judgement in the case itself. In order to fulfil the objective of a precautionary measure, its proceeding must follow certain specifications. These variations are the subject of this thesis, which tries to present various perspectives on these proceedings specifications. Those are mainly jurisdiction without hearing of the parties, different regulations in delivery, judgement reasoning, simple verification of some facts, and establishment of caution. This regulation of proceedings was many times the subject of analysis of compliance with the constitutional order, especially with the right to...

The main task of this thesis was to investigate the influence of the preservation by ethyl alcohol and dry mounting on the morphometric characteristics of water bugs´ and to test the hypothesis that live individuals and individuals preserved by ethyl alcohol and dry mounted (both groups deal with individuals of the same species, sex and developmental stage) have the same morphometric parameters. The next task was to determine the effect of preparation by ethyl alcohol and dry mounting on the change of weight caused by different way of individuals´ preparation. Two model species of water bugs were chosen for this study: creeping water bug Ilyocoris cimicoides (Naucoridae) and backswimmer Notonecta glauca (Notonectidae). Weight and twelve other morphometric body characters were measured in adults of both sexes of both species. All data and their differences were tested by Student's paired t-test or nonparametric Wilcoxon test. The level of significance p = 0,05 was used for the decision whether the difference before and after preservation by ethyl alcohol and dry mounting is or is not statistically significant. Both preservation by ethyl alcohol and dry mounting influence only the body weight of treated individuals. Other morphometric characters are more or less independent on the way of preservation of water bugs´ individuals in collections. In this work, we also tested the effect of the Dyar rule for the increase in weight and size between different developmental stages of both species studied. Dyar rule for the evolution of both species was not verified. This project was supported by the grant of the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic No. P505/10/0096.
