The purpose of the present study was to develop and optimize the emulgel system for Luliconazole using different types of gelling agents: HPMCK15M, Carbopol 940, and Xanthan Gum. The prepared emulgels were evaluated in terms of appearance, pH, spreadability, viscosity, drug content, and in-vitro drug release. In-vitro release study demonstrated diffusion-controlled release of Luliconazole from formulation up to 12 hours. The drug release profile exhibited zero-order kinetics. All the prepared emulgels showed acceptable physical properties concerning color, homogeneity, consistency, spreadability, and higher drug release. In the case of all evaluation parameters, carbopol based formulation showed better properties so, as a general conclusion, it was suggested that the Luliconazole emulgel formulation prepared with carbopol (F6) was the formula of choice.

Now a day with the major advancements in the field of vehicle automation, several dangerous and crucial counter terrorist activities is being handled by the sophisticated machines which are not only effective but also responsible for saving human lives. “Unmanned guided vehicle” is built to reduce human loss in terrorist attacks. The robot has been designed to face this attacks in the country. It is equipped with self-powered, radio operated and controller. A Wifi camera has been installed on it, in order to monitor the enemy activities whenever required. It is capable of entering into the enemy field silently there by sending us all the information regarding the enemy such as the weapons that were hold by them etc. This robot would be armed with an automatic weapon mounted onto a turret and a remote operator would be getting a live video feed from the camera to help him manually control both the above mentioned units of the rover. This spy robot can also be used in motels, shopping areas, jewellery show rooms, etc where there is more chance to terrorist’s attacks and robberies. Since human life is always precious, these robots are the replacement of fighters against terrorist in such areas.

The use of composites has been increasing day by day due to their specific properties such as high strength to weight ratios, high modulus to weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance. The objective of this work is to evaluate the moisture absorption effect on the mechanical properties of hybrid sandwich composite structures formed by epoxy resin, reinforced by woven fabrics of glass and jute fibres, with a central layer of polyethylene foam. The structures used for the current study is fabricated by hand layup technique. The water absorption characteristics of the fibres are obtained by immersing the composite samples in normal water at room temperature at different intervals of time. The different sandwich composite structures are prepared and are compared with pure jute fibre composite. The testing of specimens is carried out as per ASTM standards. The tensile, flexural and impact tests on dry and wet hybrid and non-hybrid sandwich composite samples are examined. The study shows that the mechanical properties of the jute/glass fibres are improved by using foam. However, as a result of water penetrating the fibre/matrix interface, longer water- immersion times reduced the tensile, flexural and impact strength of the composites.

Dry machining is becoming popular due to the safety of the environment. In present paper, by using an L27 orthogonal array, a series of experimental studies were conducted on hardened steel En31 in dry machining with CBN tool to identify the input process parameters speed, rate of feed and DOC. Subsequently experimental results analyzed to identify the direct and indirect affect of this input parameters on quality parameter roughness of surface. Analysis carried out by using statistical tool, the results shows dry machining is nonlinear phenomenon. Hence an ANN model developed and sensitivity analysis carried out.

The study was designed to investigate the effect of cyclodextrins (CDs) on the solubility, dissolution rate, and bioavailability of cilostazol by forming inclusion complexes. Natural CDs like β-CD, γ-CD, and the hydrophilic β-CD derivatives, DM-β-CD and HP-β-CD, were used to prepare inclusion complexes with cilostazol. Phase solubility study was carried out and the stability constants were calculated assuming a 1:1 stoichiometry. Solid cilostazol complexes were prepared by coprecipitation and kneading methods and compared with physical mixtures of cilostazol and cyclodextrins. Prepared inclusion complexes were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and X-ray diffraction (XRD) studies. In vitro dissolution study was performed using phosphate buffer pH 6.4, distilled water, and HCl buffer pH 1.2 as dissolution medium. The optimized inclusion complex was studied for its bioavailability in rabbit and the results were compared with those of pure cilostazol and Pletoz-50. Phase solubility study showed dramatic improvement in the solubility of drug by formation of complexes, which was further increased by pH adjustment. The in vivo study revealed that DM-β-CD increased the bioavailability of cilostazol with low variability in the absorption. Among all cilostazol–cyclodextrins complexes, cilostazol–DM-β-CD inclusion complex (1:3) prepared by coprecipitation method showed 1.53-fold and 4.11-fold increase in absorption along with 2.1-fold and 2.97-fold increase in dissolution rate in comparison with Pletoz-50 and pure cilostazol, respectively.

In Indian agriculture, the banana production is one of the largest. Increase the use of banana fiber is adding the value of agricultural waste from banana trees. Even though many researchers reported the banana fiber based hybrid composites, this research is unique by synthesizing and material weight fractions. The maleic acid treated 10 mm long banana fibers proposed. The fifteen different composites were synthesized and characterized by the mechanical properties like fracture toughness, tensile strength, and flexural strength. The treated and untreated banana fibers varied 20%, 25%, 30%, 35%, 40% and 45% weight fractions in the glass/banana hybrid composites. The treated banana fiber / glass hybrid composites out performs. The composites which exhibited appreciable mechanical properties identified and discussed.

In the modern era, people are very fond of their pets. But having pets has become a problem for today’s working individuals as they must leave them alone at home throughout the day and must travel very frequently. Continuous monitoring of the pets is also a tedious task for the pet owners. Some pets are even overfed or underfed due to lack of proper monitoring of the feed which results in ill-health, obesity and malnutrition. The aim of our project is to develop a smart pet feeding mechanism which dispenses the food based on user requirement so that pet’s dietary plans are met. The dispenser works on the principle of IoT as it can be operated by the user from anywhere in the world.

Even supposing the technology is promoting little by little, many of the industrial operations are not advance till the finishing point their depreciation epoch due to either ignorant of cost and time reserves or inattention or overlooked. A scientific suggestion not only needs to highlight for the updating the system of manufacturing, but also needs to figure-out cost of loss in all aspects for non-upgrade of the facility. It can be done in the industrial management that to form Small Group Activity team to recognize such fatalities and remedies to resolve them. This paper discusses preparation of such valid proposal for a leading industry in Tamil Nadu. The case study belongs to a proposal of replacement machines as their depreciation period got over in an assembly plant of a largest and leading automobile manufacturer. The objective this research is to prepare the valid proposal to procure the equipment with necessary upgrades. The six sigma’s ECRS methodology is employed and majorly governs for this investigation. This study included the process evaluation, conceptual design, basic engineering design, computer aided design and validation, cost analysis. The effectiveness is verified and presented in this paper. The proposed machine reduced 70.27% of processing time, 39.02% of equipment cost and 70.25% cost per piece.

Friction Stir Welding (FSW) is employed for welding the metal surfaces without changing their phase. The major process variables of FSW are the profile of tooltip including plain or grooved surfaces, rotary speed of the tooltip, the angle of the tool fixed, and the vertical force on the tooltip. This investigation focuses the tooltip geometry with plain surface in FSW of AA6061. Initially conventional cylindrical profile is considered with a predefined tool spinning speed of the tool and compressive force which applied over it axially, for a specific welding application. The factors varied four levels. The stability related, thermal, and transient investigations were performed. The observations were compared with different geometries including two different truncated cone profiles and a hexagonal prismatic profile. The best profile suggested based on the investigation results.

The physicians have to interpret this large amount of ECG data to search for only a few abnormal beats in the ECG. Physicians may overlook some abnormal cycles due to fatigue and human error in interpreting such a large amount of data. Therefore, there is an urgent need for an automatic ECG interpreting system to help to reduce the burden of ECG interpretation. This proposed system is expected to monitor the electrical activity of heart of the patient under critical care more conveniently and accurately for diagnosing.
