Abstract

In an era characterized by digital pervasiveness and rapidly expanding datasets, ensuring the integrity and reliability of information is paramount. As cyber threats evolve in complexity, traditional cryptographic methods face increasingly sophisticated challenges. This article initiates an exploration into these challenges, focusing on key exchanges (encompassing their variety and subtleties), scalability, and the time metrics associated with various cryptographic processes. We propose a novel cryptographic approach underpinned by theoretical frameworks and practical engineering. Central to this approach is a thorough analysis of the interplay between Confidentiality and Integrity, foundational pillars of information security. Our method employs a phased strategy, beginning with a detailed examination of traditional cryptographic processes, including Elliptic Curve Diffie-Hellman (ECDH) key exchanges. We also delve into encrypt/decrypt paradigms, signature generation modes, and the hashes used for Message Authentication Codes (MACs). Each process is rigorously evaluated for performance and reliability. To gain a comprehensive understanding, a meticulously designed simulation was conducted, revealing the strengths and potential improvement areas of various techniques. Notably, our cryptographic protocol achieved a confidentiality metric of 9.13 in comprehensive simulation runs, marking a significant advancement over existing methods. Furthermore, with integrity metrics at 9.35, the protocol's resilience is further affirmed. Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is an effective and efficient solution to manage and analyse data flow in any network. Internet of things (IoT) has quickly attracted significant global attention as an innovative, progressively growing technology. It has shown a rapid and successful involvement in many fields. Thus, IoT applications evolve exorbitantly and produce vast amounts of data required for intelligent data processing. It is approximately calculated that by 2025, IoT could make significant traffic of 79 zettabytes, and by 2030 around 25 billion active smart gadgets would be linked and woven through a single massive information network. It creates hurdles for the end-user to effectively evaluate and analyse the collected information. Therefore, IoT networks utilise robust and effective AI techniques such as machine learning (ML) and data analytics (DA), which examine large amounts of data and generate meaningful information promptly. ML is a self-learning process, and DA is another effective method for predicting the future behaviour of object or activities, using past data to improve productivity in different industries such as agriculture, transportation, online gaming, eHealth, etc. This paper discussed AI techniques such as ML and DA used in IoT networks and their impacts on productivity. Furthermore, we have discussed the future trends and challenges of IoT networks.

Abstract

Solar energy is quite simple as the energy can be obtained from the sun directly. Solar energy is categorized as one of the best renewable energy since it does not emit carbon dioxide and because of unlimited supports from the sun. In this paper, three main sections of solar technologies like photovoltaic solar panel, concentrating solar power, heating and cooling system that is available present days have been investigated. In the second part of this research, an experiment has been carried out to evaluate the effects of colors of light on the performance of solar photovoltaic panels. Different colors of light having different wavelength, resulting in different frequency and hence different energy. In general, the solar spectrum influences the performance of the solar panels. The results show that the solar panels are influenced more by the red color of light. Abstract

The networking field has become a core component for any company. All of the businesses rely on the networking industry, due its vastness and significance. Every day companies are planning and thinking to develop better strategies that can offer efficient and reliable communication solutions between their employees and customers for maximum revenue. The planning of a company’s network requires a lot of resources and aspects to study, and to evaluate them carefully to build a comprehensive secure and reliable platform. It is the job of a network administrator to take care of the company’s network infrastructure and upgrade or update the required components and applications from time-to-time that can follow new standards. This thesis is a practical work aimed to evaluate a company network infrastructure in its real environment. The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate different aspects of the network infrastructure used such as VPN, WLAN, firewall and physical security and give recommendations to make their performance better and to offer more advanced strategies. This study will also provide an inclusive observation of the company’s needs and their network infrastructure, and will provide a concept how to evaluate and fix small mistakes, the kind of problems that can occur in an evolving company network. Lastly, this research will make recommendations and suggest a possible implementation on the studied network infrastructure.
