Objective To explore the influencing factors of pregnancy outcome after re-pregnancy in patients with unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion based on ultrasound endometrial receptability parameters and lymphocyte immunophenotype. Methods A total of 166 re-pregnant patients with unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion admitted to Nantong Maternal and Child Health Hospital from April to August 2022 were included in the study. According to the pregnancy outcome, the patients were divided into the delivery group and the abortion group. The endometrial receptability parameters and peripheral blood T lymphocytes were detected to screen the influencing factors of abortion. Results Among 166 patients, 102 cases (61.45%) had successful delivery and 64 cases (38.55%) had abortion again. The delivery group showed thicker endometrial thickness, larger endometrial volume, and higher VFI, but lower CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ compared to the abortion group (P < 0.05). CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ were observed to be the risk factors for pregnancy failure (P < 0.05 ), and endometrial thickness, endo-metrial volume, and vascularized flow index (VFI) were found to be the protective factors for pregnancy failure (P < 0.05). Conclusion The pregnancy outcome of patients with unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion is related to endometrial thickness, endometrial volume, VFI, CD4+, and CD4+/CD8+. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Monochlorodifluoromethane (HCFC-22) has been identified as a significant contributor to the depletion of the Earth's ozone layer, garnering considerable attention within the scientific community. Consequently, the investigation of Freon degradation has become a central focus of current research efforts. In this study, we opted to employ catalytic hydrolysis as it offers numerous advantages for the degradation of HCFC-22. Specifically, we prepared ZnO/ZrO2 catalysts with hexahedral rod-like structures through citric acid complexation. We examined the impact of various preparation conditions (such as the molar ratio of ZnO to ZrO2, calcination temperature, and calcination time) as well as catalytic hydrolysis conditions (including the amount of catalyst, total flow rate, and catalytic hydrolysis temperature) on the hydrolysis rate of HCFC-22. Characterization of the catalysts was performed using techniques such as XRD, SEM, EDS, TG-DTG, FTIR, N2 adsorption–desorption, CO2-TPD, and NH3-TPD. Our experimental findings revealed the optimal preparation conditions: a catalytic hydrolysis temperature of 100 °C, a molar ratio of ZnO to ZrO2 of 0.7, a water bath temperature of 90 °C, a roasting temperature of 400 °C, and a roasting time of 4 h. At a catalytic hydrolysis temperature of 100 °C, the hydrolysis rate of HCFC-22 reached 99.81%, with the main hydrolyzed products being HCl, HF, and CO2. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Scant evidence exists among the different psychological issues between patients with breast cancer and their spouses. The objective of our study was to develop the measuring instrument testing psychological reaction and compare the difference in psychological reaction between patients with breast cancer and their spouses during the period of diagnosis and treatment.Method: The semi-structured interview guideline was guided by the psychological stress model. In-depth interviews were conducted among patients with breast cancer and their spouses. Qualitative data was used to establish the item pool for the psychological reaction. Delphi method was used for item modifications. The items were conducted to find common factors through exploration factor analysis. Comparing the differences of common factors through t-test between patients with breast cancer and their spouses.Results: Five couples were interviewed directed by the semi-structured interview guideline. About 38 items were reserved to formulate the questionnaire through the Delphi method. A total of 391 respondents (216 patients and 175 spouses) were recruited to complete the questionnaire. Two common structures were found through exploration factor analysis, which was named as reaction to role and body image change and negative coping reaction. The t-test found that the dimension of reaction to role and body image change (95% CI = 2.34–5.01, p < 0.001) reflects the difference between patients with breast cancer and their spouses.Conclusion: The reactions to role and body image change between patients with breast cancer and their spouses are different during the period of diagnosis and treatment. Clinical workers should pay attention to the different reactions and help couples deal with breast cancer smoothly.

According to the Dual Circulation Strategy in China, financing leasing is an inevitable choice to enhance the competitiveness of the equipment manufacturing industry supply chain. Taking listed equipment manufacturing companies in China as the research objects, the article examines the impact of financial leasing on the supply chain competitiveness and its influence mechanism. The results show that the financial leasing can significantly improve the market competitiveness and capital competitiveness of equipment manufacturing enterprises in the supply chain. The heterogeneity analysis of the property rights shows that financial leasing mainly enhances the supply chain market competitiveness of state-owned equipment manufacturing enterprises. From the perspective of factor circulation, this study verifies the effectiveness of financial leasing in enhancing the supply chain competitiveness of equipment manufacturing enterprises. Solid acid MoO3/ZrO2-TiO2 catalysts were prepared by impregnation method, and catalytic hydrolysis of difluorodichloromethane(CFC-12) over the catalyst was studied. The presence of MoO3/ZrO2-TiO2 catalyst in polycrystalline state could be clearly observed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Mesopores were detected by N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms which further confirmed the MoO3/ZrO2-TiO2 structural characteristics of catalyst. The results of NH3-TPD showed that the calcination temperatures had a great influence on the acidity of the catalyst, and the weak acidic site had a strong catalytic activity for the catalytic hydrolysis of CFC-12. Moreover, ZrO2-TiO2 was highly dispersed in the MoO3 framework, suggested by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) and N2 adsorption-desorption results. The effects of the catalyst calcination temperatures on the conversion rate of CFC-12 were studied. The effects of catalytic hydrolysis temperatures and water vapor concentration on the catalytic hydrolysis rate of CFC-12 were also studied. The solid acid MoO3/ZrO2-TiO2 was calcined at 500 °C for 3 h at a catalytic hydrolysis temperature of 400 °C and water vapor concentration of 83.18%, and catalytic hydrolysis rate of CFC-12 reached 98.65 %. Microglial surveillance plays an essential role in clearing misfolded proteins such as amyloid-beta, tau, and α -synuclein aggregates in neurodegenerative diseases. However, due to the complex structure and ambiguous pathogenic species of the misfolded proteins, a universal approach to remove the misfolded proteins remains unavailable. Here, we found that a polyphenol, α -mangostin, reprogrammed metabolism in the disease-associated microglia through shifting glycolysis to oxidative phosphorylation, which holistically rejuvenated microglial surveillance capacity to enhance microglial phagocytosis and autophagy-mediated degradation of multiple misfolded proteins. Nanoformulation of α -mangostin efficiently delivered α -mangostin to microglia, relieved the reactive status and rejuvenated the misfolded-proteins clearance capacity of microglia, which thus impressively relieved the neuropathological changes in both Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease model mice. These findings provide direct evidences for the concept of rejuvenating microglial surveillance of multiple misfolded proteins through metabolic reprogramming, and demonstrate nanoformulated α -mangostin as a potential and universal therapy against neurodegenerative diseases. Chlorodifluoromethane (HCFC-22) is one of the air pollutants that destroy the ozone layer and warm the earth. In order to degrade HCFC-22, the catalytic hydrolysis method is currently the most effective environmental technology. Herein, we prepare solid acid MoO3/ZrO2 and solid base MgO/ZrO2 catalysts for the degradation of HCFC-22, with a particular focus on revealing the effects of the catalyst preparation methods, calcination temperatures, and hydrolysis temperatures on the hydrolyzation and hydrolysis rates of HCFC-22. The catalysts are characterized by XRD, N2 isothermal adsorption–desorption, and NH3-TPD. The results show that the solid acid (base) MoO3(MgO)/ZrO2 catalysts have strong catalytic activity for the degradation of HCFC-22, while the catalytic activity of the solid acid MoZr is better than that of the solid base MgZr catalyst and the hydrolysis rate can reach more than 90%. The water vapor generates B-acid centers on the MoO3(MgO)/ZrO2 framework and promotes the hydrolysis of HCFC-22 to HF and HCl. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Summary: GPR120 is implicated in the regulation of glucose and lipid metabolism, and insulin resistance. In the current study, we aimed to investigate the role of GPR120 in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). With the adoption of dehydroepiandrosterone, a rat model was established to simulate PCOS in vitro. mRNA and protein expression levels of GPR120 were measured using RT-qPCR and western blot, respectively. In addition, expression levels of testosterone, estradiol, luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone, serum total cholesterol and triglyceride were assessed using the corresponding kits. Moreover, haematoxylin and eosin staining was used to detect pathological changes in ovary or liver and oil red staining was utilized to evaluate lipid accumulation. In the present study, GPR120 was downregulated in plasma, liver and ovary in the PCOS rat model. In addition, the GPR120 agonist regulated lipid metabolism in the liver and weight in the PCOS rat model. Furthermore, the GPR120 agonist decreased insulin resistance in the PCOS rat model but improved the ovarian function. It is suggested that GPR120 plays a vital role in suppressing insulin resistance, regulating ovary function and decreasing lipid accumulation in the liver, demonstrating that targeting GPR120 could be an effective method for the improvement of PCOS.
