NiFe2O4 anode materials are prepared by chemical co-precipitation method using Na2CO3, NaOH, and Na2C2O4 as precipitants, respectively, and PEG 20000 as dispersants. Through various characterization methods, the structure, morphology, and electrochemical properties of NiFe2O4 materials prepared with different precipitants are studied. By comparison, it is found that the NiFe2O4 prepared with Na2C2O4 as the precipitant has a porous sheet-like structure with good dispersibility. In addition, the capacity remains at 502.3 mAh·g−1 and after 100 cycles at 100 mA·g−1. At high current densities of 400 and 1000 mA·g−1, the discharge capacities after 100 cycles are 462.7 and 401.1 mAh·g−1. Additionally, cyclic voltammetry (CV) tests show that the NiFe2O4 de/lithium intercalation process is stable and reversible. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
