Abstract Mitochondria are major organelles involved in several processes related to energy supply, metabolism, and cell proliferation. The mitochondria function is transcriptionally regulated by mitochondria DNA (mtDNA), which encodes the key proteins in the electron transport chain that is indispensable for oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS). Mitochondrial transcriptional abnormalities are closely related to a variety of human diseases, such as cardiovascular diseases, and diabetes. The mitochondria transcription is regulated by the mtDNA, mitochondrial RNA polymerase (POLRMT), two transcription factors (TFAM and TF2BM), one transcription elongation (TEFM), and one known transcription termination factor (mTERFs). Dysregulation of these factors directly leads to altered expression of mtDNA in tumor cells, resulting in cellular metabolic reprogramming and mitochondrial dysfunction. This dysregulation plays a role in modulating tumor progression. Therefore, understanding the role of mitochondrial transcription in cancer can have implications for cancer diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment. Targeting mitochondrial transcription or related pathways may provide potential therapeutic strategies for cancer treatment. Additionally, assessing mitochondrial transcriptional profiles or biomarkers in cancer cells or patient samples may offer diagnostic or prognostic information.

Collagen is one of the most abundant proteins in the body and is the main component of the extracellular matrix. Collagen regulates cellular behavior, and its dysregulation can cause a variety of diseases, including cancer. Collagen in tumors is mainly produced by fibroblasts and plays an important role in cancer progression and metastasis. Collagen can act as a prognostic predictor for cancer patients and may be an effective target for the treatment and prevention of tumor progression and metastasis. Anti-tumor drugs targeting collagen and its receptors may be developed in the future. This review focuses on the newly discovered role of collagen in cancer in recent years, specifically the role of collagen in tumor cell dormancy and immune evasion, and the participation of collagen in tumor cell metabolism.

In recent years, an increasing focus has been placed on the development of transmission line condition monitoring systems by academic and research institutions globally. This paper introduces a novel sensor-based system for monitoring the dynamic behavior—referred to here as ‘dancing’—of transmission line conductors. It hinges on the mathematical equations that describe the motion of a ‘dancing’ transmission line conductor. By computing the sets of distance and tension solutions, the system effectively determines the state of the conductor dance. This monitoring system integrates advanced sensor technologies and has been validated through simulation experiments. The experimental results are promising, showcasing an average error in coil measurements maintained within ±2.2%, with a maximum deviation not exceeding 2.9%. These figures underscore the system’s high accuracy and linearity, affirming that the design parameters adeptly satisfy the monitoring requirements of transmission line conductor dynamics. Furthermore, the system exhibits remarkable stability, as evidenced by average deviations of 0.636mm and 0.077mm on the X and Y axes, respectively, against input amplitudes of 120mm and 60mm. This paper demonstrates the efficacy of the proposed transmission line conductor dance state monitoring system in maintaining precise and reliable measurements.

This paper diagnoses the transmission line dancing situation based on the wide-area traveling wave information transmission and dancing mechanism. The characteristics of the wide-area initial traveling wave propagation are analyzed, and the traveling wave information of transmission line dancing is analyzed using wavelet transform. Measure the voltage traveling wave energy distribution for online monitoring and diagnosis of transmission lines. To study the dancing amplitude of transmission lines, a finite element analysis model is created. The detuned pendulum anti-dancing device is designed, the detuned pendulum dynamics equation is constructed, and the critical wind speed leading to transmission line dancing is investigated by the theoretical equation method and the stability theory method. Through the empirical analysis method, the transmission line dance monitoring and the anti-dance effect are analyzed. The experiments show that when the transmission line dances at a slower speed, the online monitoring method based on wide-area information monitors the motion of the target spacer bar between two neighboring frames between [1,3], and the processing speed is 138.2 frames per second faster than the other techniques, which is successful in tracking the dancing target of the transmission line. In the anti-dance test, before the anti-dancer was added, the transmission line amplitude reached 12,12m/s from the beginning at a wind speed of 18m/s and 14m/s to provoke dance. After the installation of the anti-dancer, the amplitude is maintained between [0,1] in most cases, and the anti-dancer has a good anti-dance effect.

This paper first analyzes the mechanism of transmission line dancing and constructs the mathematical model of transmission line dancing and the parameters of transmission line dancing. Then, a transmission line dancing monitoring and warning system is designed by integrating multiple inertial sensors, and the tower monitoring main splitter and wireless inertial monitoring and warning unit are designed, respectively. Then, the transmission line dancing trajectory was denoised using the wavelet threshold method, and the two-way inequality was determined by the attitude decomposition algorithm so as to design the transmission line dancing trajectory parameter identification algorithm. Finally, the designed system is tested experimentally, and the monitoring performance of the dance monitoring trajectory system is analyzed using collected data. The results show that the angular error of the sensor’s pitch and roll attitudes is within 0.5°, the angular error of the heading angle is within 1°, and the acceleration of the smoothed signal is in the range of -0.2/g~0.2/g. The relative error of amplitude recognition is up to 2.6 cm, and the frequency recognition basically agrees with the actual movement frequency, which is 0.21 Hz, and the error of the recognized frequency is within 0.03 Hz. Background Systemic Immune-inflammation Index (SII) and body composition parameters are easily assessed, and can predict overall survival (OS) in various cancers, allowing early intervention. This study aimed to assess the correlation between CT-derived body composition parameters and SII and OS in patients with advanced gastric cancer receiving dual programmed death-1 (PD-1) and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) blockade.Materials and methods This retrospective study enrolled patients with advanced gastric cancer treated with dual PD-1 and HER2 blockade from March 2019 to June 2022. We developed a deep learning model based on nnU-Net to automatically segment skeletal muscle, subcutaneous fat and visceral fat at the third lumbar level, and calculated the corresponding Skeletal Muscle Index, skeletal muscle density, subcutaneous fat area (SFA) and visceral fat area. SII was computed using the formula that total peripheral platelet count×neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio. Univariate and multivariate Cox regression analysis were used to determine the associations between SII, body composition parameters and OS.Results The automatic segmentation deep learning model was developed to efficiently segment body composition in 158 patients (0.23 s/image). Two-dimensional (2D) semiconductors have attracted great attention to extend Moore’s law, which motivates the quest for fast growth of high-quality materials. However, taking MoS2 as an example, current methods yield 2D MoS2 with a low growth rate and poor quality with vacancy concentrations three to five orders of magnitude higher than silicon and other commercial semiconductors. Here, we develop a strategy of using an intermediate product of iodine as a transport agent to carry metal precursors efficiently for ultrafast growth of high-quality MoS2. The grown MoS2 has the lowest density of sulfur vacancies (~1.41×1012 cm−2) reported so far and excellent electrical properties with high on/off current ratios of 108 and carrier mobility of 175 cm2 V−1 s−1. Theoretical calculations show that by incorporating iodine, the nucleation barrier of MoS2 growth with sulfur-terminated edges reduces dramatically. The sufficient supply of precursor and low nucleation energy together boost the ultrafast growth of sub-millimeter MoS2 domains within seconds. This work provides an effective method for the ultrafast growth of 2D semiconductors with high quality, which will promote their applications.

In current supplier management business status of power enterprises, exists many common pain points, such as weak supplier data management, weak risk management awareness. With the intention of solving these problems, this research proposes a deep portrait system of suppliers of power enterprises by constructing full information database of suppliers, establishing a comprehensive evaluation index system of suppliers, and building a supplier label library. With the application of this system, this paper designs the business mechanism optimization scheme of the whole life cycle auxiliary management, which includes supplier qualification and performance verification, professional performance evaluation, market performance insight and risk control. This system proposed is of great significance to improve the lean level and informatization process of supplier management in power enterprises.

In order to explore the antioxidant and anti-aging effects and underlying mechanism of Antarctic krill phospholipids, the antioxidant capacity in vitro of krill phospholipids was evaluated by radical scavenging capacities against 1, 1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and 2, 2’-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS) radical cation, and ferric ion reducing power. Meanwhile, the effect of krill phospholipids at different concentrations on the life span, swallowing frequency, head swinging frequency, acute oxidative stress resistance, heat stress resistance, reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels, antioxidant capacity and aging-related gene expression in the model organism Caenorhabditis elegans was studied. The results showed that krill phospholipids had good antioxidant capacity in vitro, which was superior to that of soybean phospholipids. Compared with the control group, krill phospholipids at all concentrations tested prolonged the life span of C. elegans, improved the swallowing frequency and mobility, and enhanced the resistance to stress. Moreover, krill phospholipids at the medium and high concentrations significantly increased the activities of superoxide dismutase and catalase (P < 0.01) and the content of glutathione (P < 0.05), and significantly reduced the content of malondialdehyde (MDA) and ROS levels (P < 0.01). In addition, krill phospholipids prolonged the life span of C. elegans by activating the transcription factors DAF-16, SKN-1 and HSF-1 and up-regulating the expression of antioxidant and detoxification genes. To sum up, krill phospholipids have good antioxidant capacity both in vivo and in vitro and delay the aging of C. elegans, thus being a potential functional food ingredient.

In nuclear forensics the amount of Pb to be analyzed is usually in the order of several nanograms; that is >10-3 of ionization efficiency is required for mass spectrometry measurements. The traditional silica-gel-phosphoric acid loading technique is typically used to measure microgram amounts of Pb, and the ionization efficiency is in the order of 10-4-10-3. Although the boron-silica gel technique could increase the ionization efficiency to 10-3 or higher, it is also difficult to handle measurement conditions as the ion flow repeatedly increased and decay process in the ionization of Pb resulting in the ion emission instability. A new silica gel-perrhenic acid loading reagent method has been developed and exhibits a significant enhancement in the ionization efficiency of Pb. Compared with the boron-silica gel technique, the emission of Pb ions is very stable with this new technique. The measurement Relative Standard Deviation of 204Pb/206Pb, 207Pb/206Pb, 208Pb/206Pb was 0.4%, 0.2% and 0.1%, respectively from 1 ng of pb, which is an improvement over the precision with other silica gel techniques. The enhancement effect on the ion emission of Pb was compared with the silica gel-perrhenic acid and some other traditional silica gel techniques. The reagent amount of the silica gel was optimized to 0.5-3.0 μL and the ‘sandwich biscuit’ loading sequence was used. The ionization efficiency of the Pb reached 6.0×10-3-4.6×10-2 for 1100 ng Pb. The ionization efficiency was close to the boron-silica gel technique, whereas it was about ten times higher than the traditional silica gel-phosphoric acid technique. A stable ion current was obtained by use of the silica gel-perrhenic acid technique, and the measurement accuracy meets the requirements for region indicators on nuclear forensic analysis.

Several days before the Ms7.0 Lushan earthquake, the YRY-4- borehole Strainmeter at Guza Station recorded prominent abnormal changes. The strain anomalies are very striking on the smooth background of several years' recording after the Wenchuan earthquake. However, because construction in the town of Guza has been undergoing rapid development in recent years, many factors have interfered with observations at the station. Whether or not the observed strain changes before the Lushan earthquake were affected by any of the sources of interference becomes a question that must be answered. Among the likely sources of interference, apartment construction, sportsground reconstruction, and tunnel cutting can be excluded by analyzing the morphological characteristic of the anomalies. The two remaining most possible sources are road construction in front of the station and the water level change of the nearby Dadu River caused by water filling into and discharging from an upstream reservoir. Through field investigation, comparison of the correlation between the strain and the seismographic recordings, comparison of the correlation between the strain and the Dadu River flow recordings, and analysis of the strain anomaly characteristics, we conclude that the abnormal changes observed at Guza Station cannot be attributed to either of these two sources but should be related to the Lushan earthquake.
