Technology information development changed the customer behaviour in desire in booking hotel room. Online Travel Agent is one of the most advanced products that is currently booming and change the room reservation pattern from direct reservation or go show to room reservation by Online Travel Agent. The purpose of this study was to find the information why the booking pattern changed from direct reservation to online travel agent in order to improve the e-commerce in maintain the guest to still choosing Mercure Nexa Bandung as their preferred hotel to stay in Bandung. The result of the study shows Online Travel Agent can increase hotel occupancy rate because they are accessible, efficient and effective at competitive prices as well the hotel costs with sales cost, fees and employee payroll expenses. This article tries to explain the use of information technology for the NTB Care application as a digital media for responding to public complaints. Three dimensions are measured to determine the effective implementation of NTB Care in resolving public complaint services: the Ease of Use dimension, the Trust dimension and the Reliability dimension. The research uses a comparative descriptive method with a qualitative approach and literature analysis by collecting data from official NTB government documents, the NTB Care data center, the NTB Care Website, the NTB care Facebook, and other literature related to NTB Care. The results showed that the use of the NTB Care application as a medium for responding to public complaints was good and received excellent public trust, but the obstacles faced were in the agency that became the goal of the problems raised by the community, the average response time for OPD in handling complaints that come in 1-120 days. There is no clarity regarding reports that have not been followed up on to be resolved. NTB Care is an application as a forum to accommodate the community's aspirations; then, the NTB Care admin will forward public complaints to the relevant agency or OPD based on the complaint problem who entered NTB Care.

Nutritional status is an important factor in assessing the growth and development rate of babies and toddlers. Cases of malnutrition are increasing, especially in magelang city. Because nutritional problems (Malnutrition) can affect the health of toddlers. Therefore, this study aims to predict the level of prevalence of malnutrition with the Naïve Bayes method. This research uses an observational design, a single center study at the Magelang City Office, using the Naïve bayes method which is used as an application of time series data, and is most widely used for prediction, especially in data sets that have many categorical or nominal type attributes. The Naïve bayes method is used to predict such cases of malnutrition. The results of this study show that the Naïve Bayes method succeeded in predicting the magnitude of cases of malnourished toddlers in Magelang City with an accuracy percentage of 75% due to the very minimal amount of training data, and the areas that have the most malnutrition are in three areas, namely Magersari, North Tidar and Panjang.

Collaboration with competitors – coopetition – enables access to valuable knowledge and resources for innovation and is seen as common practice in some knowledge-intensive sectors. Using longitudinal data from the Spanish biotechnology sector (a total of 1605 observations), this study examines the relationship between the international breadth of coopetition – the sum of the different international areas in which a firm's coopetitors are located – and innovation performance. The results show that a firm must collaborate with competitors in more than a single geographical area to begin to experience the positive effect of international breadth on innovation performance. Furthermore, the results vary significantly in the presence of two different contingencies. Under conditions of lack of technological information, international breadth increases in value. When perceived market uncertainty is high, however, optimal results are achieved when the international breadth is limited to a single area. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The new coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) has had profound impacts on society, affecting physical and mental health as well as family interactions. Information and communication technologies (ICTs) have been used in research with families in order to understand relational dynamics during the pandemic and to guarantee the continuity of studies previously started. The aim of this study is to present possible adaptations, for the online modality, of data collection procedures in research involving observation of family interactions. This is a methodological article, in which potentials of online observation are discussed, such as greater geographic coverage and ecological validity, but also challenges, such as the difficulty of standardizing data collection procedures, due to variability in the quality of equipment and Internet connection. Technical aspects are highlighted to assist researchers in the selection of audio/video equipment and platforms for videoconference, as well as in planning and conducting data collection. Online observation can enable researchers to understand the complexity of family dynamics during social distancing and after the pandemic as well, comprising an effective research strategy for the study of families in different contexts. Nursing documentation is one of the most important functions for nurses in providing nursing care. The nursing process in the modern era is now a demand from various aspects for nurses. The current development is that nurses must carry out nursing processes based on nursing care standards. The use of electronic nursing documentation can always evolve in line with technological developments, this can increase client life expectancy and reduce errors in intervening with clients. This IT-based documentation system will help in meeting documentation standards, can improve the quality of documentation, facilitate decision making and provide information that is easy to access, can minimize the potential for loss or damage to development records, improve information exchange and coordination between nurses or other health teams, documentation can be easily audited, help improve the accuracy of client data, can access the progress of client health development and reduce maintenance costs so that it can improve the quality of care services.

The research conducted in Magelang Muhammadiyah University was aimed at knowing the effects of accuracy the tasks of information technology on the employee working performance in Magelang Muhammadiyah University. The independent variables included in this research consisted of accuracy tasks of information technology: Accuracy and Accessibility, the use of information technology involves: Usage Intensity Technology Information and Usage Frequency Technology Information. Working performance for the employees of Magelang Muhammadiyah University was regarded as the dependent variable. The samples were taken by means of a Census Sampling Method within 50 Administration employees of Magelang Muhammadiyah University. 2 double regression analyses were used to proccess the data According to the tests, simultaneously and partially the variables of accuracy, accessibility, usage intensity and usage frequency of Technology Information positively affect the employee working performance. The variable of accuracy is partially a dominant factor enhancing the employee working performance. It is suggested that Technology Information task accuracy should be followed by the Technology Information usage associated to needs to access data and to result information. Supported by Technology Information it is expected that the credibility of Magelang Muhammadiyah University can be enhanced.

This study used a field experiment and the means-end chain approach to examine the effect of providing information on the biofortification process on consumers' acceptance of orange-fleshed sweetpotato (OFSP). Negative, positive, and neutral information about the biofortification were verbally provided. Images were used to reinforce the verbal information. Meaning representation (mental models) of various constructs relating to OFSP was assessed. We found that the structure of mental constructs differed depending on the type of information provided and concluded that the type of information consumers receive about the biofortification process affects OFSP acceptance. This study examined the effects of technology information on Chinese consumers’ acceptance of thermal and non-thermal treated apple juices. Apple juice was treated using thermal, high hydrostatic pressure processing and pulsed-electric field processing methods and compared to untreated apple juice. The four juices were evaluated by 118 Chinese consumers in three testing conditions: (a) blind (rating acceptance of the apple juices without any information), (b) label (rating acceptance of the apple juice labels containing different technology information without tasting the juices), and (c) informed (rating acceptance of the apple juices by tasting the juices and observing the labels containing different technology information). Results showed that technology information had the strongest positive influence on consumers’ acceptance for untreated and high hydrostatic pressure processed apple juices. No effect of technology information on the acceptance of pulsed-electric field treated apple juice was observed. Acceptance was lower for thermal treated apple juice, but its sensory characteristics were good enough to minimize the negative effect of technology information on acceptability. The findings of this study help manufacturers understand how technology information affect Chinese consumers’ acceptance of apple juices. When marketing non-thermal processed beverages, especially high hydrostatic pressure processed ones, to young and educated Chinese consumers, food manufacturers are recommended to focus on technology information as a selling point as this information strongly influences expectations and acceptance of the product. The present study sought to evaluate the influence of company size on the management of external sources of technological information. We conducted an empirical survey of innovative Brazilian companies in the industrial sector. Analysis of management and performance characteristics found significant differences between large companies and smaller organisations, particularly regarding management structure, technology access opportunities, external sources of technology information, and performance indicators. Numerous studies have shown that our knowledge of the scope of patent activity and patent technology distribution in a developing country like China is inadequate. Literature searches indicate that there are papers on patent activities and international competitiveness in major developed countries. However, the majority of these researches were not based on the International Patent Classification (IPC) System analysis, only a few have applied IPC as a research tool.This paper describes a study of patent activities of US organizations in China. The researchers of the study employed the IPC system, conducted searches on several Chinese patent databases and undertook a technology assessment using 118 IPC classes to examine the distribution of US origin patent applications in China in various technological fields. The findings from this study have provided a clearer picture and better understanding of the US patenting activities in China.The results of the technology distribution of US origin patent applications in China, together with the top ten IPC classes of US origin applications and the top 20 US organizations that filed most patent applications in China from April 1985 to March 1999 are presented.
