The electronic structure and optical properties of O adsorbed ReS2 monolayer under different biaxial strains were studied through Density Functional Theory. Strain reduces the band gap of O adsorbed ReS2 monolayer, the band gap varies greatly reaching 1.509 eV under strain of −10%. Both the absorption intensity and reflectivity change significantly under strains. The adsorption coefficient reaches maximum value of 27.08 × 104 cm−1 under strain of −10% within the ultraviolet range. Our research shows that strain can effectively modulate the optoelectronic properties of O adsorbed ReS2 monolayer, which provides helpful guidance for the application of ReS2 in nanoscale optoelectronic devices.

Three photoluminescent zinc coordination polymers (CPs), {[Zn2(tpeb)2(2,5-tdc)(2,5-Htdc)2]·2H2O}n (1), {[Zn2(tpeb)2(1,4-ndc)(1,4-Hndc)2]·2.6H2O}n (2), and {[Zn2(tpeb)2(2,3-ndc)2]·H2O}n (3) (tpeb = 1,3,5-tri-4-pyridyl-1,2-ethenylbenzene, 2,5-tdc = 2,5-thiophenedicarboxylic acid, 1,4-ndc = 1,4-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid, and 2,3-ndc = 2,3-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid) were prepared from reactions of Zn(NO3)2·6H2O with tpeb and 2,5-H2tdc, 1,4-H2ndc, or 2,3-H2ndc under solvothermal conditions. Compound 1 has a two-dimensional (2D) grid-like network formed from bridging 1D [Zn(tpeb)]n chains via 2,5-tdc dianions. 2 and 3 possess similar one-dimensional (1D) double-chain structures derived from bridging the [Zn(tpeb)]n chains via pairs of 1,4-ndc or 2,3-ndc ligands. Reactions of Zn(NO3)2·6H2O with tetrakis(4-pyridyl)cyclobutane (tpcb) in MeOH followed by addition of benzene or toluene gave rise to two two-dimensional (2D) coordination polymers {[Zn(tpcb)(NO3)2]·2S}n (1: S = benzene; 2: S = toluene). The analogue reactions of Pb(NO3)2 with tpcb in similar solvent systems resulted in the formation of {[Pb(tpcb)0.5(NO3)2(MeOH)]·benzene}n (3) and [Pb(tpcb)(NO3)2(MeOH)]n (4), respectively. Slow evaporation of the MeOH solution containing Pb(NO3)2 and tpcb generated [Pb(tpcb)(NO3)2(H2O)]n (5). Compounds 1 and 2 show similar 2D networks but differ in their packing modes, namely “overlapping” and “crisscross” modes. Compound 3 exhibits a 3D porous framework in which its 1D channels are occupied by benzene molecules. Compound 4 consists of 1D [Pb(tpcb)(NO3)2(MeOH)]n chains which are linked by weak Pb⋯N secondary interactions to form a 2D gridlike network. Compound 5 has a 3D structure constructed by dinuclear [Pb2(tpcb)6(NO3)4(H2O)2] units and tpcb bridges with a Schlafli symbol of (4·62)·(42·610·82). The solvent effects may be ascribed to the formation of the five 2D and 3D coordination polymers 1–5. The inclusion of benzene and toluene molecules in the frameworks of 1 and 2 along with the time lengths of their crystal growth may provide an interesting approach to the selective separation of benzene and toluene.

The performance of transfer case as an essential component of intelligent four-wheel drive is studied mostly from the perspective of mechanical transmission. However, friction heat during the transmission of power is rarely discussed. In this paper, a multi-plate clutch model is constructed based on heat load characteristics. And a performance simulation model in Matlab/Simulink is built to analyse the influence of friction disc on the dynamic transfer characteristics from aspects of structural dimension, material property and working condition. Then, the thermal load characteristics of the multi-plate clutch are analysed. Results show that the heat load has a great influence on the friction coefficient and the viscosity of the lubricating oil. In summary, this paper verifies the important role of heat load in the working process of transfer case, and the operating characteristic change rules during connecting process are discussed, which can be provided as a theoretical basis for the designing of transfer case.

Six coordination polymers including [Cd(tpeb)X2]n (1: X=Br, 2: X=I), [Cu(tpeb)I]n (3), [Cd2I2(tpeb)2(1,4-bdc)]n (4), {[Co(tpeb)(dpa)]·MeCN}n (5), and {[Ni2(tpeb)3(oba)2]·solvent}n (6) were prepared from solvothermal reactions of 1,3,5-tri-4-pyridyl-1,2-ethenylbenzene (tpeb) with CdII, CuI, CoII, or NiII salts in the absence or presence of 1,4-benzenedicarboxylic acid (1,4-H2bdc), 2,2′-biphenyldicarboxylic acid (H2dpa), and 4,4′-oxybisbenzoic acid (H2oba). Compounds 1–3 have 1D chain structures while 4 holds a 2D wave-like network. Compound 5 adopts a 3D (3,5)-connected net with a Schläfli symbol of 33.48.513.63.7 and 6 possesses a 3D 5-connected net with a Schläfli symbol of 42.65.7.82. Compound 2 as a representative photocatalyst shows efficient degradation of rhodamine B in water while 5 displays highly selective sensing of p-nitrophenol in water through fluorescence quenching.

A real-time disambiguous localization method for multiple acoustic sources using widely spaced microphone array is proposed in this paper. The observation signals in each frame are firstly discriminated utilizing conventional energy-based sound detection measurement. Using inter-microphone phase differences (IPD), as well as an iterative cluster process, the DOAs of sources can be estimated while the phase wrapping ambiguity in conventional DUET is avoided.

Skin is the first organ exposed to sulfur mustard (SM). The mechanism of SM-induced cutaneous injury has not been fully clarified so far, which is a major obstacle to the development of effective treatments for SM-induced injury. So far, there is no satisfactory therapy for acute symptoms and long-term complications. This review summarized recent researches on the mechanisms of SM-induced cutaneous injuries and the therapies for acute symptoms and long-term complications.
