We Media is a way for the general public to disseminate their facts and news to the outside world through Internet or other means. It is a way for the general public to provide and share their information after being connected to the global knowledge system. This study is to explore the communicators, the content and effect of the dissemination of We Media. The dissemination of traditional culture not only provides the audience with rich cultural knowledge but also has great importance in shaping their values. From the cases of Li Ziqi and Dianxi Xiaoge, we can find that this strategy requires the vloggers to master a combination of skills, not only in filming and editing but also in cultural understanding and learning ability.

The nucleus in many cell types is a stiff organelle, but fat-filled lipid droplets (FDs) in cytoplasm are seen to indent and displace the nucleus. FDs are phase-separated liquids with a poorly understood interfacial tension γ that determines how FDs interact with other organelles. Here, micron-sized FDs remain spherical as they indent peri-nuclear actomyosin and the nucleus, while causing local dilution of Lamin-B1 independent of Lamin-A,C and sometimes triggering nuclear rupture. Focal accumulation of the cytosolic DNA sensor cGAS at the rupture site is accompanied by sustained mislocalization of DNA repair factors to cytoplasm, increased DNA damage, and delayed cell cycle. Macrophages show FDs and engulfed rigid beads cause similar indentation dilution. Spherical shapes of small FDs indicate a high γ, which we measure for FDs mechanically isolated from fresh adipose tissue as ∼40 mN/m. This value is far higher than that of protein condensates, but typical of oils in water and sufficiently rigid to perturb cell structures including nuclei.

This work assesses several popular transformations for the velocity profile through their application to several types of non-canonical compressible wall-bounded turbulent flows. Specifically, this work explores DNS databases of high-enthalpy boundary layers with dissociation and vibrational excitation, supercritical channel and boundary-layer flows, and adiabatic boundary layers with pressure gradients. The transformations considered include the van Driest [Van Driest, J. Aeronaut. Sci., 18(1951):145-216], Zhang et al. [Zhang et al., Phys. Rev. Lett., 109(2012):054502], Trettel-Larsson [Trettel and Larsson, Phys. Fluids, 28(2016):026102], data-driven [Volpiani et al., Phys. Rev. Fluids, 5(2020):052602], and total-stress-based [Griffin et al., Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. U.S.A., 118(2021):e2111144118] transformations. The Trettel-Larsson transformation collapses velocity profiles of high-enthalpy temporal boundary layers but not the spatial boundary layers considered. For supercritical channel flows, the Trettel-Larsson transformation also performs well over the entire inner layer. None of the transformations above works for supercritical boundary layers. For all the considered methods, the transformed velocity profiles of boundary layers with weak pressure gradients coincide well with the universal incompressible law of the wall. In summary, all these popular methods fail to deliver uniform performance for non-canonical compressible wall-bounded flows in the logarithmic region, and a more sophisticated version, which accounts for these different physics, is needed. Inspired by the extremal landscape approach in Cortines et al. (2018) for the simple random walk on binary trees, we establish the scaling limit of the cover time in the biased setting.

This paper introduces a heuristic tentacle algorithm for local path planning of unmanned skid-steering vehicle. Mobility, safety and economy are three mainly focused aspects in the navigation of unmanned ground vehicles. Critical skidding and slipping often occur during the turning motion, which effect the vehicle's motion apparently. So vehicle kinematics are discussed and applied to construct the cluster of tentacles. Several path assessment criteria named obstacle avoidance, terrain roughness and distance to the global path are discussed. Based on the multi-density clustering processed in the global path planning, heuristic method is introduced to guide to search in sparse region. The simulation analysis shows the generated local path can avoid the obstacles along the global path. Simultaneously. the global path can be smoothed through kinematic aware tentacle algorithm.

ISWI chromatin remodelers mobilize nucleosomes to control DNA accessibility. Complexes isolated to date pair one of six regulatory subunits with one of two highly similar ATPases. However, we find that each endogenously expressed ATPase co-purifies with every regulatory subunit, substantially increasing the diversity of ISWI complexes, and we additionally identify BAZ2B as a novel, seventh regulatory subunit. Through reconstitution of catalytically active human ISWI complexes, we demonstrate that the new interactions described here are stable and direct. Finally, we profile the nucleosome remodeling functions of the now expanded family of ISWI chromatin remodelers. By revealing the combinatorial nature of ISWI complexes, we provide a basis for better understanding ISWI function in normal settings and disease.

Path planning is one of the key abilities in artificial intelligence. Many different approaches exist, focusing on finding the shortest path. Obstacle density, which is often ignored by conventional approaches, has a great influence on path quality especially in off-road environment. Because obstacles along a path compromise driving safety and frequent obstacle avoidance increases vehicle control difficulty while decreases traveling speed. In this paper, a simple and efficient approach of hierarchical path planning algorithm based on multi-density clustering is proposed, aiming at finding a clear and short path to achieve an integrated goal of obstacle avoidance and path length shortness. A simulation evaluation shows that our proposed approach can find short path bypassing regions with dense obstacles efficiently.

Two colloidal suspensions of paucidisperse, spherical silica particles with different surface chemistries leading to extreme limits of surface contact friction are studied to identify experimental differences in shear rheology and microstructure and quantitatively test theory and simulation models. The nonequilibrium microstructure in the plane of shear is measured by flow-small angle neutron scattering for steady shear states spanning the shear thinning and shear thickening regimes. The shear rheology and microstructure are compared against predictions from theory for Brownian hard sphere suspensions and state-of-the-art simulation methods that incorporate either contact friction or enhanced lubrication hydrodynamics. The first normal stress differences are confirmed to distinguish between these micromechanical mechanisms for stress enhancement in the shear thickened regime. The nonequilibrium microstructure in the plane of shear shows more anisotropy for the suspension with higher interparticle friction. A significant fourfold symmetry is confirmed and found to be amplified with increasing surface contact friction in the shear thickened state. The differences in shear-induced microstructures between suspensions with varying contact friction demonstrate that the nonequilibrium microstructure can distinguish between nanotribological interactions in the shear thickened state. Statistical comparison of experiments with simulations indicates that better resolution of microstructures in simulation models is required to be validated by the experimental data presented. Implications for the development of theories for colloidal suspension rheology are discussed.

Members of the ISWI family of chromatin remodelers mobilize nucleosomes to control DNA accessibility and, in some cases, are required for recovery from DNA damage. However, it remains poorly understood how the non-catalytic ISWI subunits BAZ1A and BAZ1B might contact chromatin to direct the ATPase SMARCA5. Here, we find that the plant homeodomain of BAZ1A, but not that of BAZ1B, has the unusual function of binding DNA. Furthermore, the BAZ1A bromodomain has a non-canonical gatekeeper residue and binds relatively weakly to acetylated histone peptides. Using CRISPR-Cas9-mediated genome editing we find that BAZ1A and BAZ1B each recruit SMARCA5 to sites of damaged chromatin and promote survival. Genetic engineering of structure-designed bromodomain and plant homeodomain mutants reveals that reader modules of BAZ1A and BAZ1B, even when non-standard, are critical for DNA damage recovery in part by regulating ISWI factors loading at DNA lesions and supporting transcriptional programs required for survival., ISWI chromatin remodelers regulate DNA accessibility and have been implicated in DNA damage repair.
