The thermal performance of the magnetic‐geared dual‐rotor machine (MGDRM) is investigated. Because the effective component in the outer airgap magnetic field harmonics is low, the torque production of MGDRM cannot match the regular permanent magnetic synchronous machine (PMSM). Although the analysis shows that the torque generation of the MGDRM is weak, this conclusion is limited in the electromagnetic field. The MGDRM outer rotor should also be considered from the thermal aspect, and the effect on the torque generation should be valued in particular. The outer rotor thermal buffer effect blocks the heating flow from the winding to the inner rotor magnets. Thus, the MGDRM can withstand a heavy electrical load in a short period, producing higher torque. With this understanding, the torque production ability of the MGDRM can extend to a higher level, even close to the regular PMSM. To validate the analysis, a MGDRM machine is prototyped, and the dual‐rotor temperature information acquisition is realised by a wireless data collection. The rotor temperature estimation technology on the dual‐rotor is then investigated as an auxiliary function. The estimation error can be limited around 5°C, which is good for warning the thermal risk. And thus the MGDRM overheating can be safely adopted to extend the torque generation. In digital holography, reconstructed image quality can be primarily limited due to the inability of a single small aperture sensor to cover the entire field of a hologram. The use of multi-sensor arrays in synthetic aperture digital holographic imaging technology contributes to overcoming the limitations of sensor coverage by expanding the area for detection. However, imaging accuracy is affected by the gap size between sensors and the resolution of sensors, especially when dealing with a limited number of sensors. An image reconstruction method is proposed that combines physical constraint characteristics of the imaging object with a score-based diffusion model, aiming to enhance the imaging accuracy of digital holography technology with extremely sparse sensor arrays. Prior information of the sample is learned by the neural network in the diffusion model to obtain a score function, which alternately constrains the iterative reconstruction process with the underlying physical model. The results demonstrate that the structural similarity and peak signal-to-noise ratio of the reconstructed images using this method are higher than the traditional method, along with a strong generalization ability. In this paper, to improve flux-regulation and constant-power speed range, a 10-stator-pole/18-rotor-pole five-phase hybrid-excitation flux-switching (HEFS) machine with “E”-core stator cell is proposed and analyzed. The topology and operation principle are investigated first. Then, the different armature winding connection methods are evaluated to reduce the total harmonic distortions of phase permanent magnet (PM) flux linkages. Furthermore, based on a simplified magnetic circuit, the analytical power-sizing equations are derived to determine the main design dimensions and parameters of E-core HEFS machines with given performance specifications. The electromagnetic performance, including the conventional static characteristics, such as phase PM flux, back electro-motive-force, cogging torque, electromagnetic torque, and flux-regulation capability, is analyzed by means of two-dimensional (2-D) and 3-D finite-element analysis to take end effect into account. The predicted results indicate that the proposed five-phase E-core HEFS machine exhibits improved flux-regulation capacity and wide range of speed regulation. The performances of HEFS machine are verified by experimental results on a prototype machine. Therefore, the HEFS machine is a promising candidate for electric vehicle and hybrid electric vehicle applications especially for direct-driven systems where the wide range of speed regulation and high-efficiency performance are crucial. In this paper, a 10 kW/500 r/min nine-phase flux-switching permanent magnet (FSPM) machine for wind power generation system is proposed, analyzed, and designed. First, different topologies with alternative stator slots and rotor poles combinations are compared. Then, both the split ratio and rotor pole width, which have major influences on electromagnetic performance, are optimized, whereas static characteristics, viz., the phase PM flux linkage and electromotive force, cogging torque, inductance, and electromagnetic torque, are predicted by 2-D finite-element analysis (FEA). In addition, the unbalance magnetic force is investigated. Finally, a prototype of a 10 kW 36-stator-slots/34-rotor-poles nine-phase FSPM generator is manufactured and the experimental tests is carried out to verify the theoretical analysis and FEA-based predictions. Background: Understanding the epidemiological information of a certain disease is the first step in related prevention and control work. This article aims to understand the prevalence and associated risk factors of sarcopenia among the older adult (≥60 years old) in China and to provide an evidence-based basis for early identification, management, and prevention of sarcopenia patients., Methods: We searched seven databases: CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, and Cochrane Library databases from the establishment of the database until January 31, 2024. The Quality evaluation criteria of cross-sectional studies recommended by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) were used for literature quality evaluation. Stata 18.0 software was used for statistical analysis., Results: We finally included 45 studies, involving a total of 37,571 cases. After statistical analysis, we found that the prevalence of sarcopenia among the older adult in China was 20.7% [95% CI (18.3, 23.0%)]. The results of subgroup analysis suggest that: ① According to gender, the prevalence rate of sarcopenia in women (21.6%) is higher than that in men (19.2%); ② According to age, the prevalence rate of older adult people aged ≥80 (45.4%) was the highest, followed by 70-79 (27.2%) and 60-69 (15.7%). ③ According to region, the prevalence rate of the older adult in the south (21.7%) is higher than that in the north (19.0%); ④ According to the time of publication, the prevalence of sarcopenia among the older adult in China has increased (from 19.2% in 2014-2018 to 21.4% in 2019-2024); ⑤ According to the diagnostic criteria, the detection rate of AWGS (2019) is higher than that of AWGS (2014) (24.5% vs. 19.3%). Finally, aging, low BMI, low leg circumference, smoking, depression, osteoporosis, malnutrition and malnutrition risk are all risk factors for sarcopenia among the older adult in China., Conclusion: The prevalence of sarcopenia in the older adult in China was higher (20.7%), which should be paid attention to by relevant health authorities. In addition, aging, low BMI, low calf circumference, smoking, depression, osteoporosis, malnutrition and malnutrition risk are risk factors for the development of sarcopenia in the older adult in China. New-QiangGuYin (N-QGY), the addition of sea buckthorn on the basis of QGY formula, is herbal formula widely used clinically in China for the treatment of osteoporosis (OP), but its mechanism warrants further exploration. The mechanisms of QGY and N-QGY in the treatment of OP are probed from the perspective of osteoclast-osteoblast balance. Thirty Sprague-Dawley rats are randomly divided into N-QGY group, QGY group, and Control group. Beyond control rats that orally took normal saline, other rats are orally administered with isometric N-QGY or QGY twice every day for 3 days. The drug-containing serum and control serum are prepared and their effects on osteoclast-derived exosome secretion are determined by bicinchoninic acid assay (BCA), nanoparticle tracking analysis, and Western blot. GW4869 and Interleukin-1β (IL-1β) are adopted as the exosome inhibitor and inducer, respectively. Exosome uptake, cell counting kit-8, alkaline phosphatase (ALP) staining, alizarin red staining, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction, and Western blot are performed to examine the effects of altered osteoclast exosome content on osteogenic differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). N-QGY, QGY, and GW4869 inhibit osteoclast-derived exosome secretion and exosome uptake by MSCs, whereas IL-1β exerted the opposite effects (p < 0.05). Different from IL-1β, N-QGY, QGY, and GW4869 partially elevated MSC viability, osteocalcin secretion, ALP, RUNX Family Transcription Factor 2 (RUNX2) and Osteopontin (OPN) expressions, and calcium deposition in the osteoclast-MSCs coculture system (p < 0.05). Mechanically, osteoclasts increased Notum protein level but decreased β-catenin level, which is enhanced by IL-1β but is reversed by GW4869, QGY, and N-QGY (p < 0.05). And the effect of N-QGY is more conspicuous than that of QGY (P<0.05). N-QGY-containing serum inhibits exosome levels in osteoclasts, thereby enhancing osteogenic differentiation of MSCs via inhibition of Notum protein and promotion of β-catenin protein., (© 2024 Wiley‐VCH GmbH.)
