The relationship of the β-myrcene content with the susceptibility and/or resistance of Pinus species against the pine wood nematode was investigated. For this purpose, the β-myrcene content of the wood of one-year-old shoots was determined. The resistant trees were found to contain a very small amount of β-myrcene. On the other hand, the β-myrcene content of susceptible trees was comparatively high. This relationship was observed in both inter- and intraspecies and also between young and older trees of the same species, i.e., Pinus densiflora or P. thunbergii. The β-myrcene content can feasibly be used as an indicator for screening resistant Japanese red and black pine trees.

製剤中の有効成分N-(トリクロルメチルチオ)-4-シクロヘキセン-1,2-ジカルボキシミド(以下,キャプタンと略記)を薄層クロマトグラフィーを用いて単離したのち,アルカリ分解し生ずる塩素をチオシアン酸水銀法で定量し,有効成分量を算出した.すなわち,キャプタン約10mgを含むクロロホルム溶液1ml をシリカプレートに添付し,クロロホルムで展開する.吸着帯から溶出し,得られたキャプタンの結晶にアセトン5ml,メタノール5ml,0.32N水酸化ナトリウム溶液5mlを加え15分間水浴上で還流する.溶媒をじゅうぶん留去したのち,この溶液中の塩素をチオシアン酸水銀を用いて定量する.その結果,水和剤,粉剤における回収率および標準偏差パーセントはそれぞれ100.21%,100.01%と0.4%,0.5%であった.

米粒にメチルパラチオン, スミチオンを1 : 1の割合で, 0.1, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 10ppmになるように添加し, メチルパラチオンをスミチオンから分離し, 定量する試験を行なった.ガラスフィルターを用い, 米粒からメチルパラチオンをエーテルで溶出, アルミナカラムで精製し, 濃縮したのち, 電子捕獲ガスクロマトグラフィーで分離定量した.カラム充てん剤, 10%高真空グリース (HVSG) /クロモソープW (40～60メッシュ);ガラスカラム, 外径1/8インチ, 長さ5フィート;分離管温度, 180℃;キャリヤーガス, 窒素;流速, 20ml/min, 本法の回収率は0.1～10ppmの範囲で70～101%でかなり良好な結果が得られた.

10種類の有機リン系農薬をサフラニン法によって微量定量した.すなわち,試料に少量の過酸化水素と硝酸を加えて湿式分解し,モリブデン酸塩-色素混合液を加え,サフラニン-リンモリブデン酸アンモニウムの沈でんを生成させる.この沈でんを遠心分離し,1Nの塩酸で数回洗浄したのち,アセトンに溶解し,波長535mμの吸光度を測定する.この方法による10種類の有機リン系農薬の平均回収率は,リンとしてほぼ0.5μg,0.2μgの場合についてそれぞれ98.5%,98.2%であった.また,1.86μg(リンとして約0.25μg)のジメトエートを5回分析したところ,平均回収率は95.5%,レンジは14%となった.

A method was proposed for the gas-liquid chromatographic determination of PCMN in wettable powder and dust. PCMN was extracted with acetone and determined by gas chromatography by using a thermal conductivity detector and dibutylphthalate as internal standard. The column temperature was adjusted to 230°C and the flow rate of carrier, helium, was maintained to be 50 ml/min. PCMN was converted quantitatively to pentachlorobenzaldehyde in the gas chromatographic operation. Pentachlorobenzaldehyde initially present in commercial PCMN as an impurity caused positive error but could be eliminated by thin layer chromatographic separation before the analysis.The results showed good agreement with those by pyridinepyrazolone method as in Table II. Those of recovery test were shown in Table I.The calibration curve in the 0.72.3 weight ratio (PCMN/DBP) was almost linear.

4-クロルフェニル-2, 4, 5-トリクロルフェニルスルホンの製剤(テデオン乳剤,水和剤および粉剤)中の活性物質を乾式薄層クロマトグラフィーを用いて分離し,紫外線吸収法を用いて定量した.本法を製剤に適用し,次の回収率とσとを得た.乳剤100.9%, 0.74%; 水和剤100.5%, 1.05%; 粉剤100.3%,0.24%.
