The effective use of energy resources, energy production and consumption are accepted as one of the most basic indicators of development in recent years. It has become important to use these energy resources in an environmentally friendly manner and have a positive and efficient effect on the economy. The relationship between renewable energy consumption (LREC) and economic factors such as growth rate of GDP per capita (LGDP)), fixed capital investment (LFCI), total labor (LTL), total amount of waste per capita (LWCA) is examined in this study. Data on those variables are collected for the period of 2012-2020 for OECD countries. A panel quantile regression approach method is employed to examine the association between renewable energy consumption (REC) and economic factors. The effects of independent variables on renewable consumption have been interpreted depending on the estimation results obtained in the analysis. Firstly, the panel unit root tests are determined for stationarity. As a result, a panel quantile approach is adopted. The results of the analysis show that all economic variables used in the model have a statistically significant effect on renewable energy consumption in the last two quantiles.

Ancak ifade edilen alanlara dair teorik ve uygulamalı ekonomik ve finansal teorilerin tamamının bu eser bünyesinde yürütülmesi mümkün olmadığından söz konusu yazında çoğunlukla ön plana çıkarılan alanlar belirli bir konu çerçevesi itibariyle bu eserde tartışılmaktadır. Söz konusu bu tartışmalar, eserin konu çerçevesi dahilinde bütüncül ve birbirleriyle uyumlu olacak şekilde ele alınmakta ve bu bütünlük teorik ve uygulamalı çalışmalarla desteklenmektedir. Bu minvalde, kitabın ortaya çıkmasında kıymetli vakitlerini ayırarak değerli çalışmalarıyla katkıda bulunan tüm yazarlarımıza teşekkür etmeyi bir borç bilir, dipsiz bir kuyu niteliğindeki ekonomi ve finans literatürüne küçük de olsa bir taş atmanın kıvancını taşıdığımızı belirtiriz. The relations between economic growth, unemployment, inflation and current account balance are analyzed theoretically and different comments on theoretical approaches are discussed in the study. Accordingly, while the unemployment-inflation relationship is considered with Phillips analysis and the scope of the growth-unemployment with Okun Law, the interaction between the current account balance and growth is shown with the equality of national income accounting. After the theoretical approaches described in detail with shared data and interpreted for Turkey. This study also examines the relation between the unemployment, inflation, economic growth, current account deficit with symmetric and asymmetric reserved causality tests were examined for the 2000Q1 − 2020Q4 period. The asymmetric hidden causality relationships between the series were researched with Hatemi-J (2012) method based on Toda-Yamamoto (1995) test in this study. When the relationship between the growth rate and the unemployment rate are examined between these years in Turkey it is observed that there is an inverse relationship between growth and unemployment, especially during crisis periods. After that to find this relationship we used symmetric and asymmetric causality. As a result of the estimates growth also has a one-way symmetrical causality relationship from negative shocks to negative inflation shocks. When the relationship between them is viewed only with one-way or two-way causality, there may be no relationship so the causality must be checked asymmetrically even to catch the assumption of the Okun’s law correctly for Turkey.

In this paper, we examined the relationship between BIST-100 Index (SPI) and a set of macroeconomic variables volatility using Vector Autoregressive (VAR) model. The relationship between the stock market and macroeconomic variables has been subjected to serious economic research. A stock market plays important role for the reallocation of funds in many sectors of an economy. The macroeconomic factors make investors to choose the stock because investors are interested to know about the factors affecting the working of stock to manage their portfolios. Some investors show the stock prices volatility is based on directional trend in the stock prices but actually volatility is amount of fluctuation in stock prices. For this purpose we used the volatility of the variables. This study period 2006-2018 stock market using monthly data for Turkey is to examine the relationship between stock return volatility and macroeconomic volatility. We used the macroeconomic variables volatility these are industrial production (IP), money supply (M1), inflation rate (CPI), US dollar equivalent exchange rate (EX) and oil prices (OIL). We used montly data for the period between january 2006 and december 2018. Asymmetric GARCH models are used for the series volatility. The best performing GARCH model in these models are considered as volatlity. Exchange rate and industrial production index have an important effect on stock market volatility.
