We analyze the problem of blackbody radiation in the presence of quantum gravity effects encoded in modified dispersion relations. In this context, the spectral radiance and the generalized Stefan-Boltzmann law are studied. Furthermore, the regime of low temperatures is contemplated as well, where features related to the blackbody thermal laws and the thermodynamics quantities such as energy, pressure, entropy, and specific heat are obtained. Possible implications in compact objects such as neutron stars are also discussed., Comment: 5 pages, 3 figures
