Dentro de los estudios ambientales y de conservación de la biodiversidad se ha evidenciado que los territorios habitados por pueblos indígenas son de gran importancia, pues han demostrado que se puede conservar la biodiversidad a partir de su uso sostenible. El Conocimiento Ecológico Tradicional (CET) de la gran comunidad del nor-oriente amazónico, autodenominada Gente de Centro, comprende un cuerpo de saberes acumulados resultado de muchos años de experiencia y de adaptación a los cambios del ambiente, que abarcan visiones de mundo, estrategias y técnicas que les ha permitido interactuar con la naturaleza que existe en su territorio ancestral. Aunque el CET de los pueblos indígenas amazónicos ha sido un tema recurrente de investigación en el ámbito del manejo de recursos naturales, poco se ha estudiado sobre cómo su forma de transmitirse se transforma al estar inmerso en el fenómeno de la migración hacia un contexto urbano. Bajo un análisis con enfoque de sistemas socio ecológicos y de ecología política, se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas, grupos focales y observación participativa para determinar cuáles son los cambios que ocurren al transmitir el CET en un contexto de migración en la ciudad de Bogotá. Primero, al indagar por las causas de migración de la Gente de Centro, se identificó que la migración es un fenómeno dinámico, no lineal, constante y escalonado, se distinguió un imaginario de poder adquisitivo occidental que está presente en procesos educativos, en el ámbito laboral y social. Segundo, los cambios en la manera de transmitir el CET se relacionaron con la individualización, la mercantilización del conocimiento, la invisibilización de procesos de producción y las implicaciones de estos para la resiliencia del territorio originario. Se concluye que el sistema capitalista es el impulsor de cambio, en sus múltiples expresiones, de dinámicas de migración que modifican la forma en que la transmisión del CET cambia. De esta forma, la migración es la vía por el cual el capitalismo actúa y sus consecuencias se pueden evidenciar en la forma en que dichos cambios aportan a la gobernanza del territorio originario. No obstante, la descontextualización de este mismo y el emular dinámicas que replican las estructuras de poder e inequidad de este sistema pueden ser riesgosas para la resiliencia del CET y la gobernanza del territorio originario de la gente de Centro y tener implicaciones sobre procesos de manejo y conservación de la biodiversidad y la cultura. Gente de Centro Within the environmental and biodiversity conservation studies, it has been shown that the territories inhabited by indigenous peoples are of great importance since they have shown that biodiversity can be conserved through its sustainable use. The Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) of the great community of the north-eastern Amazon, called People of the Center, comprises a body of accumulated knowledge resulting from many years of experience and adaptation to changes in the environment, which include worldviews, strategies, and techniques that have allowed them to interact with the nature that exists in their ancestral territory. Although the TEK of the Amazonian indigenous peoples has been a recurring topic of research in the field of natural resource management, little has been studied on how its form of transmission is transformed by being immersed in the phenomenon of migration to an urban context. Under an analysis with a focus on socio-ecological systems and political ecology, semi-structured interviews, focus groups, and participatory observation were carried out to determine what are the changes that occur when transmitting TEK in a migration context in the city of Bogotá. First, when investigating the causes of migration of the People of the Center, it was identified that migration is a dynamic, non-linear, and a constant phenomenon, a western acquisitive imaginary was identified and it is present in educational, social, and labor processes. Second, changes in the way of transmitting TEK were related to individualization, the commodification of knowledge, the invisibility of production processes, and their implications for the governance of the original territory. It is concluded that in its multiple expressions the capitalist system is the driver of change, of migration dynamics that modify the way in which the transmission of the TEK changes. In this way, migration is the way by which capitalism acts, and its consequences can be evidenced in the way in which these changes contribute to the governance of the ancestral territory. However, decontextualizing it and emulating dynamics that replicate the power structures and inequity of this system can be risky for the resilience of the TEK and the governance of the ancestral territory of the people of the Center and have implications on the management and conservation processes of the region.
