Recently collated scientific data on the management of C1 clinical class of chronic venous disorders; wide prevalence of the disease and high variability amongst medical practitioners in relation to managing this category of patients and absence of any regulatory documents has prompted the development of clinical guidelines for the treatment of patients with reticular varicose veins and telangiectasias of the lower extremities and various parts of the body. These guidelines have been developed by a self-regulated organization Association “The National College of Phlebology”. The purpose of the de novo guidelines is to systematize the existing evidence and offer minimal standards of care for chronic venous disorders in C1 patients.

Species-specific differentiation of Bordetella pathogens in nasopharyngeal swabs of patients with suspected whooping cough was carried out using developed by us real-time PCR: duplex TaqMan PCR aimed for detecting B. pertussis and B. parapertussis, with primers targeting IS481, IS1001, BP0026 and GAPDH as the human internal control and two singleplex TaqMan PCR aimed for detecting B. holmesii and B. bronchiseptica with primers targeting hIS1001 and flaA specific genes. Among the 3130 throat swab analyzed, B. pertussis, B. parapertussis and B. holmesii were detected in 29.5 %, 0.9 % and 0.4 % of samples respectively. The developed algorithm proved to be a useful molecular-genetic diagnostic tool for whooping cough, established cocirculation of different species of Bordetella genus and demonstrated the predominance of B. pertussis, low rate of B. parapertussis and B. holmesii and the absence of B. bronchiseptica in the circulation in the Republic of Belarus.

First experimental results on fluid injection influence on a mode of interblock contact deformation are reported. It is found that deformation energy consumed to radiate seismic waves largely depends on parameters of a fluid injected into a fracture. Dilatant fluid appears to be the most efficient to decrease seismic energy as viscosity of such fluid grows with increasing deformation rate. In laboratory tests the slip-stick motion mode transforms into a quasi-stable creep in a single deformation cycle after fluid injection is ceased.

The growth characteristics of a 30-year-old Pinus sibirica grafted with cuttings from plus trees and a 36-year-old one of different geographical origin on the rootstock of Pinus sylvestris and Pinus sibirica, the results of their studying are presented in the article. The analysis of accretion of grafted components depending on the type, age of the rootstock was done. It has been established that 36-year-old grafted trees using cuttings of Pinus Sibirica of different geographical origin (Altai, Biryusa, Sverdlovsk, Khanty-Mansi) on the Pinus sylvestris tree differ in the growth of scion with rootstock. Ramets with good accretion (without exceeding the diameter of the stem of the scion over the stock) with maximum incompatibility (13.1 cm) were selected. The growth of 30-year-old grafted trees depends on the genotype of plus trees. The most intensive growth of ramet is noted at clone 91/55 in comparison with 100/64 and 94/58. The grafted trees of one clone (91/55) on the Pinus sylvestris had an average graft stem excess of 6.2 cm; there is practically no excess on the Pinus sibirica stock. It is recommended to use the selected specimens without sagging in the places of accretion of grafted components as uterine trees for their further reproduction and the creation of target plantations for the accelerated cultivation and use of industrial wood from Pinus sibirica.

We study the principal possibility of a controllable change of the fault slip mode in slider experiments. It is shown that a slight change of the material composition and/or the rheology of a local segment of the interblock contact may lead to an essential change of slip mode parameters. One of the ways to change the rheology of a local interface segment without changing its material composition is to damp it. The efficiency of the slip mode transformation by liquid injection is determined by the material composition of a local segment exposed to the injection.

The writers report the results of synthesis and experimental studies of 2-amino-2-desoxy-1, 3, 4, 6-tetraacetyl-D-glucopyranose derivatives acylated by n-di-/2-chloroethyl/aminophenyl acetic acid (chlorophenacyl), n-di-/2-chloroethyl/aminophenyl-N-acetyl-DL-alanine (acetylsarcolysin) and n-di-/2-chloroethyl/aminophenyl-N-acetyl-DL-alanyl-DL-valine (acetylsarcolysin valine). Studies on the antitumor activity were carried out on mice with 8 different transplantable tumors. The addition of glucosamine to alkylating substances containing biologically active components was found to change their properties. The new type derivatives are watersoluble, show less molar toxicity and mainly high activity on plasmocytoma MOPC-406 (from 97% of the survival rate to 50% of cure).
