Theory of Mind (ToM) is a construct of cognitive, social and affective skills that contributes to a better effectiveness of interpersonal relationships, as well as a better understanding of social scenarios. Its evolution throughout adulthood is being subject of extensive study. We have done a quasi-experimental design study with a healthy aging sample of 69 people ranging in age from 65 to 94. The purpose was to understand the evolution of ToM abilities in this group of age; to determine whether these abilities evolve equally and clarify which aspects influence this evolution. Results show a progressive decrease in the scores registered in the elders, mainly from the age of 79. But this decline is uneven, since 2nd order false belief tasks, that is, tasks with greater cognitive complexity, obtain worse results at an older age. On the other hand, findings indicate that the variable that has the most influence on ToM skills is social activity, followed by verbal reasoning. Likewise, in line with the most recent literature, age itself is not shown as a factor that justifies the decrease in mental abilities, but rather the individual social and cognitive changes associated with it. These results reinforce the link between social activity, mental performance and cognitive health, in such a way that social activity based on interpersonal relationships becomes a tool for the prevention of social isolation and cognitive deterioration associated with the most advanced stages of adulthood.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of an intervention program, based on music, movement, and dance, aimed at improving motor skills in children at risk of developmental coordination disorder (DCD). Participants comprised 70 primary school children (47 boys/23 girls) aged between 6 and 8 years. Participants were given the Spanish adaptation of the Movement Assessment Battery for Children–Second Edition (MABC-2) to identify difficulties and initially classify into three groups: a group of 17 at risk of DCD who participated in the intervention program (Experimental Group), a group of 18 at risk of DCD who did not participate (Control Group with Risk) and a group of 35 children, with scores higher than the cutoff point (Control Group without Risk). The results show a significant improvement in the motor skills of children who participated in the intervention program, while those in the Control Group showed no significant changes in the second evaluation compared with the first. Likewise, it could be affirmed that this intervention based on group activities involving music, movement, and dance is a very successful blend for motor improvement in children with coordination problems, due to the combination of cognitive stimulation areas and techniques.

Advanced therapy medicinal products have emerged in recent years as new pharmacotherapeutic strategies. In this context, hospital pharmacy services have had to adapt to the new challenges posed by the inclusion of advanced therapies in their roster of services against the background of the complex pharmacotherapeutic process patients typically go through. All the activities carried out in the hospital pharmacy services must abide by the rules established in the Spanish legislation and ensure both the quality of the different drugs they manage and the safety of every single patient. Advanced therapy medicinal products are associated certain peculiarities, including the need to select and evaluate potential candidates to receive them; recourse to financing mechanisms based on risk sharing; and their extreme fragility, which means that the personnel in charge of handling them must be properly trained to maintain their viability and that special storage conditions, involving temperatures below 180 degrees C in the case of chimeric antigen receptor T cell therapies, must be maintained. In addition, use of advanced therapy medicinal products in the clinical setting has made it necessary for scientific societies to produce consensus documents recognizing the pivotal role of hospital pharmacists as indispensable members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team and ensuring the same traceability, conservation, custody and pharmacotherapeutical monitoring standards imposed on other drugs to provide for adequate pharmaceutical care. Scientific societies have also highlighted the importance of intensifying clinical research, an essential requirement for the safe incorporation of new therapeutic targets. The present document is intended to describe the challenges pharmacists may face when using advanced therapy medicinal products at the different stages or processes in the patient's clinical journey.

The purpose of our research was to explore the role of both parents’ use of behavioural regulation with food and children’s emotional self-regulation in young children with and without overweight/obesity. For this purpose, 123 participants (n = 62 boys and n = 61 girls) were recruited and classified into two groups by their Body Mass Index (BMI, non-overweight vs. overweight/obese) and into two age groups (four years and seven years). The children’s parents/primary caregivers completed two scales of the Childhood Obesogenic Behaviours’ Questionnaire (COBQ). The participants were measured and weighed to calculate their BMI to identify overweight, obesity, and non-overweight. The results showed that the means for children who were obese/overweight were significantly higher than those of children who were non-overweight for both the parents’ behavioural regulation scale (non-overweight: M = 1.80, SD = 0.69, overweight/obesity: M = 2.94, SD = 0.85) and the child’s emotional overeating scale (non-overweight: M = 1.47, SD = 0.56, overweight/obesity: M = 2.65, SD = 0.87). No statistically significant differences were found related to age (4 and 7 years), indicating that the potential impact of obesogenic behaviours starts early in development. Similarly, no differences by gender were found. Due to the implications of obesity for physical and mental health, and the high probability of maintaining this overweight status in the long term, family-based interventions to prevent obesity are highly advisable from birth.

Summary Our study sought to show the relation between dysphonia and personality traits as explained by Gray's theories. Personality traits were analyzed in a patient group of 141 patients who showed functional and congenital voice disorders. The results were compared to the control group made up of 99 vocally healthy individuals. Their objective voice quality was measured by using the Dysphonia Severity Index, Voice Handicap level was measured using the VHI-10, and a perceptive analysis was conducted with a listening jury. The results showed significant differences in Introversion and Neuroticism and a greater tendency for activating the behavioral inhibition system in the patient group. Such an influence was also evident in voice quality measures. The results were similar to specialized literature.

The increasing identification of driver oncogenic alterations and progress of targeted therapies addresses the need of comprehensive alternatives to standard molecular methods. The translation into clinical practice of next-generation sequencing (NGS) panels is actually challenged by the compliance of high quality standards for clinical accreditation. Herein, we present the analytical and clinical feasibility study of a hybridization capture-based NGS panel (Action OncoKitDx) for the analysis of somatic mutations, copy number variants (CNVs), fusions, pharmacogenetic SNPs and Microsatellite Instability (MSI) determination in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tumor samples. A total of 64 samples were submitted to extensive analytical validation for the identification of previously known variants. An additional set of 166 tumor and patient-matched normal samples were sequenced to assess the clinical utility of the assay across different tumor types. The panel demonstrated good specificity, sensitivity, reproducibility, and repeatability for the identification of all biomarkers analyzed and the 5% limit of detection set was validated. Among the clinical cohorts, the assay revealed pathogenic genomic alterations in 97% of patient cases, and in 82.7%, at least one clinically relevant variant was detected. The validation of accuracy and robustness of this assay supports the Action OncoKitDx’s utility in adult solid tumors.

Para ello, han sido escogidos y estudiados ciertos rasgos que inspiran el arte tradicional de China. Además, retrata la actualidad sociocultural de la actualmente conocida como Taiwán. Desembocando todo esto en un proyecto el cual, a través de una técnica considerada como contemporánea, como es el acrílico, se fusiona con la tinta china, una técnica milenaria, unificando ambas técnicas y experimentando de este modo un lenguaje propio. De esta forma, se muestran al espectador algunos rasgos de la actual sociedad de Taiwán. Todo esto bajo la interpretación de la autora, quien pese a no pertenecer a esta cultura, ha tenido la oportunidad tanto de aprender como de convivir en la misma., [EN] 131 TWN. Some characteristics of traditional Chinese art have been studied. Furthermore, this project shows some aspects of today's Taiwan's culture and society. This project reflects the use and mix of a millenary technique which is the Chinese ink with the use of a technique which has been considered part of the contemporary art, the acrylic paint. Even though the artist doesn't belong to Taiwan's society, all this exploration has been done under the self-experience of the author of this project in Taiwan.

Este trabajo es una apología sobre la enseñanza de la educación religiosa escolar como área fundamental en la que las personas encaminan y educan su espiritualidad, con el objetivo de formar el carácter, forjar el sentido de la vida, sostener convicciones profundas y desarrollar habilidades blandas. En esta investigación se ha logrado comprobar la importancia de la educación religiosa y la necesidad de ser enseñada dentro del sistema educativo público y privado. En ella se profundizan en las categorías de educación religiosa y su relación con la formación integral y la formación ciudadana, como objetivo primordial de toda la enseñanza en la etapa escolar. Es una necesidad antropológica que se eduque la dimensión trascendente del ser humano, el cual nace con aptitudes para desarrollarla y desarrollarse como persona íntegra, pro-activa, dinámica y competente. Dichas características se forman gracias a un sistema educativo preocupado por la integridad de sus ciudadanos, que garantice y permita que esta formación se promueva desde el ámbito público hasta el privado.
