The aim of the paper is to quantify the construction production carbon footprint per m3 of the built-up volume of the building. In order to determine the carbon footprint, 5 typical detached houses were selected. The individual buildings have the same material-construction characteristics; however, they differ in the size of the built-up volume, i.e. also in the built-up area. The LCA software was used to quantify the carbon footprint during the production phase of the model houses project. A budget indicator per m3 of the built-up volume was determined based on these calculations.

This article focused on comparing the development of the price level of the water and sewerage charge rates in the regions of the Czech Republic to the development of macroeconomic indicators expressing the performance of the individual region. The following were selected as macroeconomic indicators: gross domestic product, gross domestic product per capita, net disposable income of households, net disposable income of households per capita and average gross wage. The Czech Republic is divided into 14 regions. In each region, a different price level of the water and sewerage charge rate was determined. At the same time, each region had a different performance which is represented by the above-mentioned macroeconomic indicators. It follows from the definition of Act No. 274/2001 Coll. on the water supply and sewerage systems operation is in the public interest. This raised the research question of whether regions with lower performance also have a lower price level of water and sewerage charge rates from the point of view of the purchasing power of the inhabitants of this region. Confirmation or rejection of this hypothesis was based on the creation of 91 matrix expressions. The input data for the creation of matrices contained 196 items of data on the price level of the water and sewerage charge rates and 1,176 items of data on macroeconomic indicators. The hypothesis was not confirmed as only one region met the condition (Olomouc Region), which had a lower price level of water and sewerage charge rates and lower efficiency.

The article focuses on the issue of cross-border cooperation in the field of investment activity and its impact on the sustainable regional development. In particular, subsidy funds of the European Union are closely linked to regional development. This article covers the research of mapping the situation of cross-border cooperation of the territory of interest, which is partly formed by the South Moravian Region in the Czech Republic and partly by the Trnava and Bratislava Regions in the Slovak Republic. This area comprises 43 municipalities in the Czech Republic and 70 municipalities in the Slovak Republic. The questionnaire survey carried out showed that cross-border cooperation is more appliedin the Czech Republic, while the Slovak Republic is more scepticalabout the cross-border cooperation projects. Based on the evaluation of the questionnaires, aspecific investment project was chosen between the municipalities of Mikulčice and Kopčany, which was financed through the European Regional Development Fund, specifically the Interreg V-A programme the Slovak Republic –CzechRepublic. Analysis of the current state of financing was carried out for this project with proposalsof possible other financing options. At the end of the article, the impact of the project on the sustainable development of border regions is evaluated.

Historically, construction has always been one of the key sectors for state economic production. It has undergone developments over the years closely related to the world economic situation. The Czech Statistical Office, which processes annual analyses of construction production and describes market development resulting from the analysis of the construction industry deals with the development of economic sectors in the Czech Republic. A set of financial indicators which provide information on the overall market situation is annually published as a part of the research of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic in the form of a corporate sector financial analysis. The performance of construction companies can be measured by various indicators. The most important performance indicator is the return on sales. This financial analysis ratio is quarterly published as a statistic within the construction sector in the national statistics published by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The aim of the research described in the article is to compare the performance development of construction companies operating in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. 12 samples of construction companies (4 samples representing the category of small, medium-sized, and large companies) were chosen for comparison. Their return on sales was calculated on the basis of financial statements in the 2013 – 2019 period. This value was plotted in the development trend, which was subsequently compared with the national statistics. The overall comparison of the performance development of construction companies, which was quantified using macroeconomic indicators, was carried out in the South Moravian Region. The macroeconomic indicators of the South Moravian Region were also compared with the national indicators provided by the Czech Statistical Office.

The article deals with the ecological impacts during a detached house construction and looks for the optimal way of its financing. The aim of the article is to evaluate how much the house construction costs would increase in the case of the use of materials, which production generates smaller volume of negative emissions. The issue of the environment in relation to ecological construction has been widely discussed in recent years. The construction industry burdens the environment already by the production of building materials, extraction of raw materials, energy consumption, through designing activities and construction itself, to the phase of the building use and its eventual liquidation. There are six basic requirements for building materials used in construction, which are required for the quality environmentally friendly construction: the statics and stability of buildings must be provided, noise protection, fire safety, hygienic safety and reduced environmental impact must be met, buildings must provide safe use and well-being, and last but not least energy efficiency. Already in the structure construction phase, it is necessary to consider the appropriate selection of building materials, for which it is necessary to take into account ecological criteria. Appropriate selection of building materials results in a positive effect on the environment. When optimizing the total cost of building a detached house from an ecological point of view, the procedure consists in replacing the most cost-effective items in the construction budget by alternative materials with regard to ecology. When choosing alternative materials, maintaining the standard of the brick building and the aesthetic character of the house are taken into account. When comparing the budgets of both variants, it was found out that a detached house built using alternative, more environmentally friendly materials, resulted more expensive. Due to the settlement structure of the Czech Republic which is quite extensive, there is a large number of small municipalities on its territory, which do not have the possibility to finance larger investment projects aiming at the development of their area. Therefore, it is important, if not essential, for such municipalities to join into associations with other municipalities. The article deals with the characteristics of possible forms of inter-municipal cooperation with a more detailed focus on taking advantage of voluntary associations of municipalities. The data from the municipal association register shows that a substantial part of municipal associations was created for the purpose of building drinking water supply, sewerage systems or waste water treatment plants. Although this purpose is still up-to-date, the aim of this article is to show how to take advantage of the associations of municipalities also for other investment projects and to propose an optimal way of financing. The main aim of this article is to find out if it is possible to take advantage of the associations of municipalities for financing investment activities of municipalities. Furthermore, based on the analysis of the current state of the register of associations municipalities in the Czech Republic, it tries to propose optimal ways of financing such activities. Based on the analysis of several investment projects financing in municipalities, the research evaluates whether joining of municipalities into voluntary associations and the implementation of construction works via these associations is generally beneficial for them. The resulting proposal described in the article can serve municipalities as a well-arranged guide to the organization and financing of their investment plans.

Paper builds on previous research of the authors into the evaluation of economic efficiency of transport infrastructure projects evaluated by the economic efficiency ratio - NPV, IRR and BCR. Values of indicators and subsequent outputs of the sensitivity analysis show extremely favourable values in some cases. The authors dealt with the analysis of these indicators down to the level of the input variables and examined which inputs have a larger share of these extreme values. NCF for the calculation of above mentioned ratios is created by benefits that arise as the difference between zero and investment options of the project (savings in travel and operating costs, savings in travel time costs, reduction in accident costs and savings in exogenous costs) as well as total agency costs. Savings in travel time costs which contribute to the overall utility of projects by more than 70% appear to be the most important benefits in the long term horizon. This is the reason why this benefit emphasized. The outcome of the article has resulted how the particular basic variables contributed to the total robustness of economic efficiency of these project., Příspěvek navazuje na předchozí výzkum autorů v hodnocení ekonomické efektivnosti projektů dopravní infrastruktury, které jsou hodnoceny pomocí koeficientů ekonomické efektivnosti - NPV, IRR a BCR. Hodnoty ukazatelů a následné výstupy analýzy citlivosti vykazují v některých případech velmi příznivé hodnoty. Autoři se zabývali analýzou těchto ukazatelů až na úroveň vstupních proměnných a zkoumali, které vstupy mají větší podíl na těchto extrémních hodnotách. NCF pro výpočet výše uvedených koeficientů je tvořeno z přínosů, které vznikají jako rozdíl mezi nulovou a investiční variantou projektu (úspory v cestovních a provozních nákladech, úspory nákladů na cestování, snížení nákladů za nehody a úspory exogenních nákladů) stejně jako celkové náklady zastupující agentury. Úspory nákladů na dobu cestování, které přispívají k celkové užitečnosti projektů z více než 70%, se zdají být nejdůležitějšími přínosy v dlouhodobém horizontu. Předkládaná bakalářská práce zpracovává Průkaz energetické náročnosti budov pro zvolený projekt rodinného domu a jeho tři materiálově konstrukční varianty v klasifikačních třídách A, B a C energetické náročnosti budov. Zabývá se problematikou vývoje trendů nízkoenergetické výstavby a teorie oceňování. Furthermore established financial indicator to determinate approximate building value and calculate investment efficiency and its correlation with operating costs. Bakalářská práce se věnuje stanovení nákladů v jednotlivých fázích životního cyklu objektu. Jde o velice široké téma zachycující mnoho tematických celků. Teoretická část se zabývá stavebním objektem obecně, náklady na stavbu v jednotlivých fázích životního cyklu a tvorbou cen v České republice. V praktické části práce rozebírá především stanovení nákladů na provoz, údržbu, opravu a rekonstrukci stavebního objektu v průběhu jejího užívání. Celkový výpočet finanční náročnosti v jednotlivých fázích životního cyklu je shrnut v tabulce, která obsahuje vyčíslení jednotlivých fází životního cyklu objektu., The bachelor’s thesis determines the costs of individual phases of a building’s life cycle. The thesis explores a very broad subject which entails a variety of topics. The theoretical part concerns itself with building in general, costs of individual phases of a building´s life cycle and pricing in the Czech Republic. In its practical part, the thesis primarily dissects determining costs for the utility, maintenance, repair and reconstruction of a building during its life cycle. The process for the calculation of the total sum of financial costs in individual phases of the life cycle is shown in a table, which contains the costs for individual phases of the building’s life cycle.

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na financování rozvojových strategií městské části Brno - Černovice. V teoretické části je vymezená struktura veřejné státní správy, územní státní správy, územní samosprávy. Je charakterizován rozpočet územních celků, jeho obsah, proces jeho sestavování. Teoretická část také obsahuje dotace a úvěr a financování investičních záměrů s jejich pomocí. Municipal budget and its content, municipal budget assembly process are clarified too. Theoretical part also contains grants, bank loans and invesment financing. The practical part characterizes selected publical commission Reconstruction of the sports complex and analyzes the funding possibilities. Based on this analysis are designed alternative solutions of financing, the inflence of selected publical commission on regional development is reviewed after the analysis.
