Abstract

Cyberbullying is of extreme prevalence today. Online-hate comments, toxicity, cyberbullying amongst children and other vulnerable groups are only growing over online classes, and increased access to social platforms, especially post COVID-19. It is paramount to detect and ensure minors' safety across social platforms so that any violence or hate-crime is automatically detected and strict action is taken against it. In our work, we explore binary classification by using a combination of datasets from various social media platforms that cover a wide range of cyberbullying such as sexism, racism, abusive, and hate-speech. We experiment through multiple models such as Bi-LSTM, GloVe, state-of-the-art models like BERT, and apply a unique preprocessing technique by introducing a slang-abusive corpus, achieving a higher precision in comparison to models without slang preprocessing., Comment: 10 pages

Abstract

Context.--Pathologists can greatly improve patient care and advance the understanding of disease progression by adeptly employing relevant biomarkers when diagnosing myeloid neoplasms. Although the molecular era has ushered in countless molecular biomarkers in this field, the necessary techniques can be expensive and time-consuming. Novel immunohistochemical biomarkers can help to quickly and inexpensively render the correct diagnosis and predict response to targeted therapies. Hence, it is critical to continue studying and using new and promising immunohistochemical tools for myeloid neoplasms in our current era. Objective.--To review the emerging biomarkers in myeloid neoplasms that can be identified by immunohistochemistry and to discuss their utility, staining patterns, and pitfalls. Data Sources.--We conducted a scientific literature search of articles related to either a novel immunohistochemical marker or a new utility of an already known marker to assess myeloid neoplasms in PubMed from 2016 to September 30, 2021. We curated relevant contributing studies from the references and subsequent citations of the original articles. Conclusions.--Immunohistochemistry is a powerful tool in analyzing biomarkers that play a significant role in the management of patients with myeloid neoplasms. We reviewed 5 immunohistochemical markers, namely, IDH1R132H, ERG, IRF8, GATA1, and NPM1. These markers, depending on the clinical scenario, can be diagnostic, predictive, and also prognostic. 20. Biphenotypic Sinonasal Sarcoma With High-Grade Features: A Diagnostic Challenge.

Abstract

Biphenotypic sinonasal sarcoma (BSNS) is a rare neoplasm of the sinonasal tract. These tumors show neural and myogenic differentiation and are characterized by PAX3 translocations. The immunophenotypic features reflect their dual differentiation. They are low-grade sarcomas that show monomorphic spindle cells in sheets, fascicles, and herringbone patterns and are positive for S100 and smooth muscle actin. These tumors are common in elderly female patients and have a locally aggressive course. High-grade presentation or transformation was not documented until recently. Total 3 BSNSs have now been documented in the literature and we report a fourth tumor with high-grade transformation 8 years after the initial presentation. We identify the morphologic and immunohistochemical features of the high-grade areas and we highlight the stark differences with the low-grade areas based on literature and our specimen. Abstract

The sudden appearance of the extremely infectious COVID 19 virus has thrown the whole globe into disarray and compelled a transformation in the structure of the global economy so that it can adjust to the new conditions. The education industry, which formerly placed a significant emphasis on more conventional forms of contact such as face to face communication, has been obliged to embrace the concept of online learning. This shift, however, has not been an easy one, and the bulk of them are still having trouble converting into an e-learning platform that operates full-time. Both students and teachers need to make the transition from traditional classroom instruction to online learning platforms for the ecosystem of digital learning to exist. Parents, policymakers, and educational institutions need to play the role of facilitator to ensure that there is as little disruption as possible to the education process during this transition. Several educational establishments were first hesitant to abandon their time-honoured instructional approach in favour of the more modern approach of online learning, but with time, many were compelled to make the transition. The purpose of this essay is to suggest a developing model for efficient e-learning by including the important aspects that are necessary for online delivery under crisis conditions similar to those experienced by Covid. It also sheds light on the difficulties that important stakeholders are having in adjusting to the e-learning process as well as the potential solutions to those difficulties. Previous research has not concentrated on eLearning models that are applicable during times of emergency. Research Methodology – The authors want to conduct a comprehensive literature evaluation of a wide variety of publications and research papers related to Covid and its effect on online education in order to achieve their goal of developing a conceptual paper.
