This article is an attempt to discuss Ferenczi's notion of cleavage comparing it with some Freudian theories about this subject and also to verify its importance to contemporary clinical practice. The main assumption of this paper is that cleavage is a radical interruption between figures related to the first and third grammatical person. Because of this interruption a psychological organization is built based on the role of the world's observer and the guilt of being.

- Abstract
Ferenczi adopted an epistemological position he called utraquism, which means "one and another." He used the term to manifest the importance of establishing a dialogue with other scientific theories in order to produce new theoretical elements. In this presentation, we support the hypothesis that the zoological notion of autotomy provided pictorial resources for the construction of the concept of cleavage in the context of the Ferenczi's studies on trauma. This thesis has in the text of the daily narrative-experiences of the field diaries of my journey in the praxis of clinical-institutional supervision and training of residents of psychiatry in public mental health devices his flagship. I did not try to distinguish such praxis. I sought their common, communicable principles. The insistence of narrative-experiences, the reading of its paradoxical nucleus, and the rewriting of the impossibilities that they imply go through the whole elaboration of this thesis. Learning from the case was the common name chosen to designate the encounters of both praxis. Intellectual specific the common concept to designate supervisor and trainer. Opening of devices, minor literature, resistance, new communities, concepts that named the effects of the agency of this intellectual on devices. The time of supervision and training is the urgency. The role of the supervisor and trainer is that of the foreigner. It¿s place, the margin, inside and outside the devices. This thesis realized a conceptual itinerary with some steps. First, explore the concept of narrative-experience in Walter Benjamin's work to define it as an empty nucleus syntagma. Benjamin calls the writer Charles Baudelaire a traumatophile. He served as a beacon to locate the agency of the specific intellectual as his work relinquished the Erlebnis of his time to achieve communicability with the public. The next step was the tracking of the concept of device in the work of Michel Foucault, the second half of the seventies. A novel by Franz Kafka was used to point out what this thesis defines as the closing of the devices: imprisonment of the truth in the true, reverse movement to the opening that supervision and formation agency. The repetition of the narrative-experiences at the end of the work is decontextualized and reduced to simple aphorisms in whose chest pulsates the foreign heart that the narrative makes appear in its renewable impossibility. The aim of this final aphoristic reduction is that the principles of the po-ethics of supervisor and trainer can be debugged and transmitted Doutorado Política, Planejamento e Gestão em Saúde Doutor em Saúde Coletiva

No. of bitstreams: 1 TESE-ALEXANDRE A R WANDERLEY.pdf: 3768524 bytes, checksum: 8d2d6220f83d0eada29c33eba94da172 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2012-06-15 Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior The main aim of this study is to analyze the reflections of the Slovenian philosopher and theoretical psychoanalyst Slavoj i ek regarding the subjective impacts of the normative transformations that have taken place in the West over the last 50 years. The problem of the so-called decline of the Symbolic began to be widely discussed by the Lacanian psychoanalytic community in which the philosopher is involved as of the end of the 1990s, which constituted an innovation in a field strongly influenced by the structuralist conception of subjectivity. Situating the author as a pioneer in the use of Lacanian conceptual tools for analysis of the social domain, the study is divided into two parts. The first presents the theoretical basis of i ek s thinking, contextualizing his intellectual and political itinerary, and approaching his three fundamental lines of investigation: political philosophy, discussion about the ethical act and the ontology of the subject. Thus, the first chapter retraces the path that leads from his first studies about ideological functioning in totalitarian regimes to his pop philosophical approach to the ideology nowadays. Next, it presents his re-description of the notion of communism in the light of the thesis of the new antagonisms of late capitalism. Finally, it covers the philosopher s universalist perspective based on his materialist reading of Christianity, resorting, above all, to the studies by Alain Badiou about Saint Paul. The second chapter delineates the central co-ordinates of i ek s conception of subject, whose originality lies in articulation of the Lacan and Hegel formulations. The notions of great Other, small object a, death drive and negativity are taken as the pillars on which rests the description of the i ekian subject. In the second part of the study, the i ek theses are examined with regard to the relations between subjectivity and culture, with emphasis on the new impasses that arise from them. The inhibitions that succeed the injunction of enjoyment without restraint, the melancholization of the social tie, the metamorphoses of guilt, victimology and culpabilization of the Other are central topics that are emphasized in this context. In this part of the work, i ek s reflections are collated with the analyses by authors of Lacanian orientation, considered representative of this type of discussion, such as Jean-Pierre Lebrun, Charles Melman, Dany-Robert Dufour and Roland Chemama. With this it is intended to enrich the discussion, pointing out the approximations and distances that i ek thinking entertains with the referred authors. The final chapter is dedicated to the critical examination of the i ekian démarche about the decline of the Symbolic. Two topics of his discourse are analyzed, namely: a) his ambivalent position concerning the criticism of catastrophism; b) his effort to expunge from the notion of ethical act in which he wants to find ways out for the problems engendered by the aforementioned decline of the Symbolic any trace of belonging to the Jewish-Christian moral tradition, keeping only the example of the formal aspect of the act. In order to undertake such an examination, on the one hand, reference is made to the critical study by the French sociologist, Alain Ehrenberg, about declinology a notion coined by him to refer to the set of studies that emphasizes current risk of dissolution of social ties and, on the other, support is sought from the conception of ethics of the neo-pragmatist philosopher Richard Rorty.

These, inserted in a holistic and hierarchic universe of value, contrast to the conceptions of suffering, person and therapeutics of psychological practices, which are based on individualistic values, on the experiences of a psychological inner self, freedom of choice and self-government. Thus, the consequences of this difference to the therapeutic relation are discussed. The study perceives that the interviewees` conceptions fits in the nervous configuration, in which physical and moral aspects of perturbation are imbricate. The sense of perturbation involves a process of self-representation emerged from interviewees familial and laborious relationships, that confer an identity in a hierarchical organization on them. The psychotherapy is also encompassed by the nervous configuration, differing from its original individualistic signification. In this sense, psychotherapy is treated as a conversation that has in view to spit it out as well as a way of thinking about other things two strategies considered therapeutical in the nervous configuration.

No. of bitstreams: 1 Luciana Oliveira dos Santos-Tese.pdf: 3078553 bytes, checksum: 81f672d44c582db03f9dbc2a11982fd7 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2007-05-23 Panic disorder is one of the worrying questions in terms of collective health. We believe that such disorder is a new form of mental illness, a category that has penetrated different social spaces, and its descriptions have been incorporated into the identitary framework of subjects. This study aims to question the cultural origins of the emergence and diffusion of this disorder in the field of subjectivity and identity construction. In post-modernity, on the one hand, we focus on the characteristics of what is called risk society (BECK, 1998), which generates feelings of unpredictability, unrootedness, and disaffiliation; on the other hand, together with the lack of prestige of the interiority ideal, individuals tend to resort to the register of the body and of biology as subjective anchor (COSTA, 2005). With the predominance of a scenario of uncertainty and permanent risk, an atmosphere is created in which predictability and trustworthiness are constantly threatened. That is, the value of trust in the register of ontology refers to existence of an environment that is sufficiently trustworthy and predictable so that the subjects experience a constancy of the surrounding environments of social and material action (WINNICOTT, 1963). We shall verify, within a risk scenario, how panic emerges and is diffused based on deviating origins. The panic disorder, which is supposedly rooted in the brain and determined by genetics, seems to be one of the entities to which people adhere and around which they aggregate. In this sense, we defend that the types of pathology in which the panic disorder is included may also function as belonging networks, forms of sociability that are organized around physical characteristics, both in the sphere of normality and of pathology, among which the anatomo-physiological body emerges as an identitary phenomenon, which some authors call bioidentity (ORTEGA, 2002). Humanizing the concept of panic disorder, therefore, means stating that such symptoms have already known other uses. If one understands the subject as a set of beliefs and desires, whose identity is under permanent reconstruction , these beliefs can be altered, revised, rethought, re-dimensioned (COSTA, 1994). When we leave the sphere of universality and essentiality, typical of reductionist classifications in the field of psychiatry, and embrace the perspective that there are different language games to refer to panic, we perceive that, instead of the panic disorder , there are panics , that is, the different grammars used to talk about that to which this psychiatric classification is reduced today are plural and diversified.

Even tough it is inspired by studies that stress the importance of trust to the constitution of society and its condition in the contemporary socio-cultural context, the discussion focuses basically on the domain of the child development. Noticing the importance of trust for the psychoanalytical school of object relations, the analysis of this concept is mainly examined in the work of D. W. Winnicott. Based on the fact that trust plays a central role in the metapsychological assumptions of this author, which contrasts with a limited theoretical exploration of its multiple meanings, the study proposes to discriminate two moments in its construction: the genesis and the reproduction of trust. The study of habit constitutes a preliminary step for the examination of trust. The analysis of the concept of habit is accomplished through the work of sociologists and philosophers, and intends to reveal the corporeal features and the importance of the regular and reliable interactions with the environment for the genesis of trust. The common presuppositions and the converging elements of different theories of habit are pointed, showing how they tend to emphasize its embodied bases and avoid its description as repetition and automatism. By the provision of security through the anticipation of the consequences of action, habit contributes to the process of flexible adaptation and plays a central role in the construction of trust. Next, the study focuses on the mechanisms of the reproduction of trust. Under the new functional configurations of the environment that follow the development of the child . the reduction of security, the increase of autonomy and freedom of risk taking, the reproduction of trust reflects the incidence of the aggressive-creative actions in the transitional space. In addition to the analysis of the work of psychoanalysts that share with Winnicott some central elements of his theory, the investigation of trust is improved by the contributions provided by recent findings in the domain of developmental psychology. This work also examines three features of infant development described by Winnicott as related to trust: the capacity to be alone, to non-integration and the propensity for gift giving.
