"Société du Canal de Provence" has been managing its hydraulic network thanks to the dynamic regulation for more than thirty years. The integration of a multivariable automatic controller, based on optimal control, will allow an overall optimization of the system. The development is made on the "Aix Nord" subsystem of the "Canal de Provence". A non-linear model is built, calibrated and validated with field measurements. The controller is proposed in two versions: an asymptotic one, and another one with a non-asymptotic component allowing to take into account predictions on future disturbances or objectives. A state observer and a perturbation observer are also defined.Robustness of both controller and observer is tested. A method for discrete control of pumping station is also defined.Classical tests on model allow studying of the behaviour of the controller. Finally, the new controller is compared to the current one in use on an example extracted from the backup files., Depuis plus de trente ans, la Société du Canal de Provence gère l'ensemble de ses ouvrages grâce à la régulation dynamique.

This document presents the work of redesigning a legacy hydraulic simulation software developed by the Société du Canal de Provence in order to solve its performances issues using Grid Computing and also to enable interactions with newer systems used in the company.; Ce document présente le travail de rénovation d'un logiciel de simulation hydraulique développé par la Société du Canal de Provence.
