Accurate identification and categorization of suicidal events can yield better suicide precautions, reducing operational burden, and improving care quality in high-acuity psychiatric settings. Pre-trained language models offer promise for identifying suicidality from unstructured clinical narratives. We evaluated the performance of four BERT-based models using two fine-tuning strategies (multiple single-label and single multi-label) for detecting coexisting suicidal events from 500 annotated psychiatric evaluation notes. The notes were labeled for suicidal ideation (SI), suicide attempts (SA), exposure to suicide (ES), and non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI). RoBERTa outperformed other models using binary relevance (acc=0.86, F1=0.78). MentalBERT (F1=0.74) also exceeded BioClinicalBERT (F1=0.72). RoBERTa fine-tuned with a single multi-label classifier further improved performance (acc=0.88, F1=0.81), highlighting that models pre-trained on domain-relevant data and the single multi-label classification strategy enhance efficiency and performance. This paper presents chemical abundances of twelve elements (C, Na, Mg, Al, Si, K, Ca, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, and Fe) for 80 FGK dwarfs in the Pleiades open cluster, which span a temperature range of $\sim$2000 K in T$_{\rm eff}$, using the high-resolution (R$\sim$22,500) near-infrared SDSS-IV/APOGEE spectra ($\lambda$1.51--1.69 \micron). Using a 1D LTE abundance analysis, we determine an overall metallicity of [Fe/H]=+0.03$\pm$0.04 dex, with the elemental ratios [$\alpha$/Fe]=+0.01$\pm$0.05, [odd-z/Fe]=-0.04$\pm$0.08, and [iron peak/Fe]=-0.02$\pm$0.08. These abundances for the Pleiades are in line with the abundances of other open clusters at similar galactocentric distances as presented in the literature. Examination of the abundances derived from each individual spectral line revealed that several of the stronger lines displayed trends of decreasing abundance with decreasing $T_{\rm eff}$. The list of spectral lines that yield abundances that are independent of $T_{\rm eff}$ are presented and used for deriving the final abundances. An investigation into possible causes of the temperature-dependent abundances derived from the stronger lines suggests that the radiative codes and the APOGEE line list we employ may inadequately model van der Waals broadening, in particular in the cooler K dwarfs., Comment: 16 pages, 7 figures, and 4 tables. The VISCACHA (VIsible Soar photometry of star Clusters in tApii and Coxi HuguA\footnote{LMC and SMC names in the Tupi-Guarani language spoken by native people in Brazil}) Survey is an ongoing project based on deep and spatiallyresolved photometric observations of Magellanic Cloud star clusters, collected using the SOuthern Astrophysical Research (SOAR) telescope together with the SOAR Adaptive Module Imager. So far we have used $>$300h of telescope time to observe $\sim$150 star clusters, mostly with low mass ($M < 10^4 M_{\odot}$) on the outskirts of the LMC and SMC. With this high-quality data set, we homogeneously determine physical properties using deep colour-magnitude diagrams (ages, metallicities, reddening, distances, mass, luminosity and mass functions) and structural parameters (radial density profiles, sizes) for these clusters which are used as a proxy to investigate the interplay between the Magellanic Clouds and their evolution. We present the VISCACHA survey and its initial results, based on our first two papers. The VISCACHA (VIsible Soar photometry of star Clusters in tApii and Coxi HuguA) Survey is an ongoing project based on deep photometric observations of Magellanic Cloud star clusters, collected using the SOuthern Astrophysical Research (SOAR) telescope together with the SOAR Adaptive Module Imager. Since 2015 more than 200 hours of telescope time were used to observe about 130 stellar clusters, most of them with low mass (M < 10$^4$ M$_\odot$) and/or located in the outermost regions of the Large Magellanic Cloud and the Small Magellanic Cloud. With this high quality data set, we homogeneously determine physical properties from statistical analysis of colour-magnitude diagrams, radial density profiles, luminosity functions and mass functions. Ages, metallicities, reddening, distances, present-day masses, mass function slopes and structural parameters for these clusters are derived and used as a proxy to investigate the interplay between the environment in the Magellanic Clouds and the evolution of such systems. In this first paper we present the VISCACHA Survey and its initial results, concerning the SMC clusters AM3, K37, HW20 and NGC796 and the LMC ones KMHK228, OHSC3, SL576, SL61 and SL897, chosen to compose a representative subset of our cluster sample. Be stars are main-sequence massive stars with emission features in their spectrum, which originates in circumstellar gaseous discs. Even though the viscous decretion disc (VDD) model can satisfactorily explain most observations, two important physical ingredients, namely the magnitude of the viscosity ($\alpha$) and the disk mass injection rate, remain poorly constrained. The light curves of Be stars that undergo events of disc formation and dissipation offer an opportunity to constrain these quantities. A pipeline was developed to model these events that uses a grid of synthetic light curves, computed from coupled hydrodynamic and radiative transfer calculations. A sample of 54 Be stars from the OGLE survey of the Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC) was selected for this study. Because of the way our sample was selected (bright stars with clear disc events), it likely represents the densest discs in the SMC. Like their siblings in the Galaxy, the mass of the disc in the SMC increases with the stellar mass. The typical mass and angular momentum loss rates associated with the disk events are of the order of $\sim$$10^{-10}\, M_\odot\,\mathrm{yr^{-1}}$ and $\sim$$5\times 10^{36}\, \mathrm{g\, cm^{2}\, s^{-2}}$, respectively. The values of $\alpha$ found in this work are typically of a few tenths, consistent with recent results in the literature and with the ones found in dwarf novae, but larger than current theory predicts. Considering the sample as a whole, the viscosity parameter is roughly two times larger at build-up ($\left\langle\alpha_\mathrm{bu}\right\rangle = 0.63$) than at dissipation ($\left\langle\alpha_\mathrm{d}\right\rangle = 0.26$). Further work is necessary to verify whether this trend is real or a result of some of the model assumptions.

We apply the viscous decretion disc (VDD) model to interpret the infrared disc continuum emission of 80 Be stars observed in different epochs. In this way, we determined 169 specific disc structures, namely their density scale, $\rho_0$, and exponent, $n$. We found that the $n$ values range mainly between $1.5$ and $3.5$, and $\rho_0$ varies between $10^{-12}$ and $10^{-10}\,\mathrm{g\,cm^{-3}}$, with a peak close to the lower value. Our large sample also allowed us to firmly establish that the discs around early-type stars are denser than in late-type stars. Additionally, we estimated the disc mass decretion rates and found that they range between $10^{-12}$ and $10^{-9}\,\mathrm{M_{\odot}\,yr^{-1}}$. These values are compatible with recent stellar evolution models of fast-rotating stars. One of the main findings of this work is a correlation between the $\rho_0$ and $n$ values. In order to find out whether these relations can be traced back to the evolution of discs or have some other origin, we used the VDD model to calculate temporal sequences under different assumptions for the time profile of the disc mass injection. The results support the hypothesis that the observed distribution of disc properties is due to a common evolutionary path. We investigated the properties of $80$ Be star disks, using the time dependent viscous decretion disk (VDD) model to interpret their mid-infrared continuum fluxes. Besides estimating the typical parameter ranges for such disks, this approach allowed us to relate the disk structure to its evolutionary status.
