The N-dimensional radial Schrodinger equation has been solved using the Nikiforov Uvarov (NU) method, in which we used the medium modified form of Cornell potential and quasi-particle Debye mass with strong magnetic field background. The binding energies and the mass spectra of heavy quarkonium have been studied in the N-dimensional space for different values of magnetic field, the binding energy decreases with increasing magnetic field, which shows early dissociation of heavy quarkonium system. The influence of dimensionality number has also been discussed on binding energies of J/{\psi} and {\Upsilon} for fixed value of magnetic field. It is found that with an increase in dimensionality, the binding energy starts decreasing from a higher initial value. The results obtained are quite consistent with recent studies.

Tuberculosis remains a significant global health challenge, with millions of new cases reported annually. Recent studies suggest that expanding the accessibility of TB intervention programs can lead to a substantial decrease in both TB incidence and prevalence. This paper initiates by examining a deterministic mathematical model for TB transmission, aiming to analyze the underlying dynamics. Subsequently, an optimal control problem is formulated to enhance TB control measures, encompassing Tuberculosis Preventive Treatment (TPT) and other initiatives targeting malnutrition and diabetes. Through simulation studies, the effectiveness of the control program is assessed. The model dynamics allow us to identify the pseudo-prevalence and incidence. To determine the potential long-term trajectory of TB and to acquire future projections a cost-effectiveness analysis is performed using ACER, AIR, ICER, and four quadrants to compare competing interventions. In conclusion, this work provides valuable insights into TB and strategies for its control and cost effectiveness.

The Kitaev interaction, found in candidate materials such as $\alpha$-RuCl$_3$, occurs through the metal ($M$)-ligand ($X$)-metal ($M$) paths of the edge-sharing octahedra because the large spin-orbit coupling (SOC) on the metal atoms activates directional spin interactions. Here, we show that even in $3d$ transition-metal compounds, where the SOC of the metal atom is negligible, heavy ligands can induce bond-dependent Kitaev interactions. In this work, we take as an example the $3d$ transition-metal chalcogenophosphate NiPSe$_3$ and show that the key is found in the presence of a sizable SOC on the Se $p$ orbital, one which mediates the super-exchange between the nearest-neighbor Ni sites. Tuberculosis (TB) remains a global health threat, ranking among the leading causes of mortality worldwide. In this context, machine learning (ML) has emerged as a transformative force, providing innovative solutions to the complexities associated with TB treatment.This study explores how machine learning, especially with tabular data, can be used to predict Tuberculosis (TB) treatment outcomes more accurately. It transforms this prediction task into a binary classification problem, generating risk scores from patient data sourced from NIKSHAY, India's national TB control program, which includes over 500,000 patient records. Data preprocessing is a critical component of the study, and the model achieved an recall of 98% and an AUC-ROC score of 0.95 on the validation set, which includes 20,000 patient records.We also explore the use of Natural Language Processing (NLP) for improved model learning. Our results, corroborated by various metrics and ablation studies, validate the effectiveness of our approach. The study concludes by discussing the potential ramifications of our research on TB eradication efforts and proposing potential avenues for future work. This study marks a significant stride in the battle against TB, showcasing the potential of machine learning in healthcare.

Recent years have witnessed an enormous rise in research interest in magnetic skyrmions owing to their capability to improve over contemporary spintronic devices. An overview of the various magnetic interactions responsible for the formation of skyrmion together with distinct noncentrosymmetric and centrosymmetric skyrmion candidates is given in this review article. The magnetic interactions known as Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interactions (DMI) have been extensively studied over the years to better understand the mechanism of skyrmions in chiral magnets that have larger skyrmion sizes. Because of their low skyrmion size, the centrosymmetric frustrated magnets are dwelling to skyrmions controlled by long-range interactions such as the Ruderman-Kittel-Kasuya-Yosida interaction (RKKY), which may be useful in the development of high-density memory devices. To lay a solid foundation for the magnetic interactions involved in skyrmion formations and many other special physical properties, more research in the field of centrosymmetric skyrmions is required. Apart from studying candidates with low skyrmion sizes, one of the main goals for the future is to better understand the dynamics of skyrmion using polarized magnons, which has the potential to be extremely beneficial for spintronic applications.

The analytical exact iteration method (AEIM) have been used widely to calculate N-dimensional radial Schrodinger equation with medium modified form of Cornell potential and is generalized to the finite value of magnetic field (eB) with quasi-particle approach in hot quantum chromodynamics (QCD) medium. In N-dimensional space the energy eigen values have been calculated for any states (n,l). These results have been used to study the properties of quarkonium states (i.e, the binding energy and mass spectra, dissociation temperature and thermodynamical properties in the N-dimensional space). We have determined the binding energy of the ground states of quarkonium with magnetic field and dimensionality number. We have also determined the effects of magnetic field and dimensionality number on mass spectra for ground states of quarkonia. But main result is quite noticeable for the values of dissociation temperature in terms of magnetic field and dimensionality number for ground states of quarkonia after using the criteria of dissociation energy. At last, we have also calculated the thermodynamical properties of QGP (i.e., pressure, energy density and speed of sound) using the parameter eB with ideal equation of states (EoS)., Comment: 14 pages, 11 figures

We extended the recent work Phys. Rev. D 97(9), 094033 (2018) to investigate quarkonium dissociation in presence of baryonic chemical potential (mu_b) and anisotropy ({\xi}) using quasi-particle approach in hot quantum chromodynamics (QCD) medium. We have determined binding energy and thermal width of S-states of charmonia and bottomonia for n=1 and n=2 (radial quantum number) with anisotropic parameter ({\xi}) and baryonic chemical potential. We have also determined the effects of baryonic chemical potential and anisotropy on mass spectra of 1S-states of quarkonia and the results obtained were consistent with theoretical and experimental works. But the key result obtained was dissociation temperature of the S-states with the effect of {mu_b} and {\xi}. At last, we have calculated the thermodynamical properties of QGP (i.e., pressure, energy density and speed of sound) using the parameter {\xi} and {mu_b}, which is the main key to study suppression of the quarkonium with latest determined value of energy density psNN after incorporating the effect of {\xi} and (mu_b)., Comment: 23 pages, 15 figures

In this article, we employed the Quasi-particle debye mass at finite baryonic chemical potential which can be used in the medium modified heavy quark potential to solve the N-dimensional Schroedinger equation. The bound state solution of the Schroedinger equation using Cornell potential is obtained by Super-Symmetry Quantum Mechanics (SUSYQM) method. The thermodynamical properties of quark matter is calculated by using baryonic chemical potential (mu). We found that the binding energy of quarkonia dissociates more with quasi-particle debye mass in comparison to non-perturbative and leading order debye mass. The medium modified form of potential (real part) has been used to study the thermodynamical properties of quark matter with different equation of states (EoS) (i.e., pressure, energy density and speed of sound) with {mu}. The mass spectra of quarkonia has been also calculated in the N-dimensional space, and compared with the experimental data at N=3. In this paper, spectra of the quarkonium states has been studied using the conditions temperature, chemical potential and the magnetic field. Here our main focus is to study the effect of strong magnetic field on the quarkonium properties. The binding energies and the dissociation temperature for the ground and the first excited states of the charmonium and bottomonium in the presence of strong magnetic field at chemical potential \mu = 500 MeV has been studied. Here we use quasiparticle (QP) Debye mass depending upon temperature, magnetic field and chemical potential obtained from the quasiparticle approach. The Debye mass strongly increases at different values of temperature and magnetic field. The binding energy decreases with increase in the temperature at different magnetic field eB= 0.3, 0.5, and 0.7 GeV2 and also decreases with magnetic field at different at T=200,300 and 400 MeV for the J/\psi, \psi, \upsilon, and \upsilon prime states of the quarkonia. The dissociation temperature of the quarkonium states falls with the increasing values of the magnetic field at critical temperature Tc =197 MeV, Comment: 7papes,12figures

We studied the effect of momentum space anisotropy on heavy quarkonium states using an extended magnetized effective fugacity quasiparticle model (EQPM). Both the real and imaginary part of the potential has been modified through the dielectric function by including the anisotropic parameter $\xi$. The real part of the medium modified potential becomes more attractive in the presence of the anisotropy and constant magnetic field. The binding energy of the 1S, 2S, and 1P quarkonium states including anisotropy effects for both the oblate and the isotropic case were studied. We find that the binding energy of quarkonium states becomes stronger in the presence of anisotropy. However, the magnetic field is found to reduce the binding energy. The thermal width of the charmonium and bottomonium 1S states have been studied at constant magnetic field eB = 0.3 GeV2 for isotropic and prolate cases. The effect of magnetic field on the mass spectra of the 1P state for the oblate case was also examined. The dissociation temperature for the 1S, 2S, and 1P charmonium and bottomonium have been determined to be higher for the oblate case with respect to the isotropic case, Comment: 16 pages,9 figures

In this work, we have studied the dissociation behavior of 1S and 2S states of quarkonium using quasi-particle approach where the Debye mass depends on baryonic chemical potential. The binding energies of the quarkonium states has been obtained by using quasi-particle Debye mass which further depends on temperature and baryonic chemical potential ({mu}_b). The effect of {mu}_b on the binding energies and the dissociation temperature have been also studied. The binding energy and dissociation temperature of heavy quarkonia decreases as {mu}_b increases. In the present work we have studied the Differential Scattering Cross-section for ground states of charmonium and bottomonium in the frame work of the medium modified form of quark-antiquark potential and Born-approximation using the non-relativistic quantum chromo-dynamics approach. To reach this end, quasi-particle (QP) Debye mass depending upon baryonic chemical potential ($\mu$b) and temperature has been employed and hence the variation of Differential Scattering Cross-section with baryonic chemical potential and temperature at fixed value of the scattering angle ($\theta=90^\circ$) has been studied. The variation of Differential Scattering Cross-section with scattering angle $\theta$ (in degree) at fixed temperature and baryonic chemical potential has also been studied. We studied the properties of the heavy quarkonia in the presence of finite quark-chemical potential for different number of flavors by using the quasi particle approach. The effect of the finite quark-chemical potential has been incorporated through the quasi-particle Debye mass to examine the binding energies of the quarkonium states. From the imaginary part of the potential we have calculated the thermal width of the ground state of the quarkonia and found that the thermal width increases with finite quark-chemical potential. The dissociation temperature (T_D) of the J/psi and Upsilon have been calculated in the presence of finite quark-chemical potential for different flavors (i.e., N_f = 1, 2 and 3). We present and analyze 58 transit light curves of TrES-3b and 98 transit light curves of Qatar-1b observed by Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS), plus two transit light curves of Qatar-1b observed by us using a ground-based 1.23\,m telescope. These light curves are combined with the best-quality light curves taken from the Exoplanet Transit Database (ETD) and literature. The precisely determined mid-transit times from these light curves enable us to obtain the refined orbital ephemerides with improved precision for both hot Jupiters. From the timing analysis, we find an indication for the presence of transit timing variations (TTVs) in both systems. Since the observed TTVs are unlikely to be short-term and periodic, the possibility of additional planets in the orbits close to TrES-3b and Qatar-1b are ruled out. Possible causes of long-term TTVs such as orbital decay, apsidal precession, the Applegate mechanism and line-of-sight acceleration are also examined. However, none of these possibilities are found to explain the observed TTV of TrES-3b. In contrast to this, the line-of-sight acceleration appears to be a plausible explanation for the observed TTV of Qatar-1b.
