In order to clarify the corrosion friction behavior and corrosion wear resistance mechanism of CoCrMo and CoCrMoW alloys in calf serum solution, CoCrMo and CoCrMoW alloys were prepared using the vacuum melting technique, and the microstructure, mechanical and corrosion tribological properties of the two alloys were investigated by means of scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy-dispersive spectroscopy(EDS) , transmission electron microscope(TEM), X-ray diffraction(XRD), compression mechanical performance experiments and corrosion wear tests.Results showed that the two alloys were composed of γ-Co and ε-Co, and the microstructure was dominated by equiaxial crystals.CoCrMo alloy exhibited excellent compressive mechanical properties and good corrosion resistance in calf serum solution,while pitting corrosion occurred in the CoCrMoW alloy.The two alloys showed good corrosion tribological properties in calf serum solution, with friction coefficients and wear rates of 0.11 ～0.21 and 1.01×10－6 ～2.46×10－6 mm3/(N·m), respectively.The friction coefficients of the two alloys decreased with the increase in load and frequency, and the stability of real-time friction coefficients increased.At low loads, the corrosive wear resistance of the alloys increased with frequency, and their wear mechanisms were dominated by abrasive wear.At high loads, the wear rate of the alloys increased with frequency,and abrasive wear and corrosive wear coexisted.Overall,the corrosion wear resistance of CoCrMo alloy was better than that of CoCrMoW alloy, which was mainly due to the better compressive mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of CoCrMo alloys.

Laser additive manufacturing （LAM） enables the integrated direct formation of high-performance metallic components with complex geometry. However， the non-uniform distribution of temperature gradients， in-situ heat treatment effects， non-equilibrium solid phase transformations， and heterogeneous microstructure during the process result in intricate residual stresses that significantly affect the quality and overall performance. A comprehensive review of residual stress in LAM by introducing its fundamental definition and classification is provided in this paper. Furthermore， the particularity， formation mechanisms， characterization methods， and regulation techniques associated with residual stress in LAM is systematically reviewed. The subsequent sections introduce various characterization methods for residual stress in LAM components， along with their respective characteristics. Additionally， the applicability， advantages， and disadvantages of each method are presented. Furthermore， the methods for controlling residual stress can be categorized into post-treatment control and in-situ treatment control. Finally， the joint effect of different types of residual stress should be considered in the study of the cause and evolution mechanism of residual stress in LAM. The characterization method of residual stress should be integrated with various methods to facilitate mutual verification. To mitigate the impact of stress concentration on the printing process and resultant quality， as well as minimize the influence of post-processing stress on part accuracy， it is imperative to investigate in-situ control methods for residual stress and explore real-time online monitoring techniques for LAM.

[Introduction] With the advancement of the "dual carbon" goals and the introduction of new energy allocation and storage policies in various regions, there is a need to further clarify the role of distributed energy storage in the new types of distribution networks and the configuration of associated energy storage system. [Method] This paper began by summarizing the configuration requirements of the distributed energy storage systems for the new distribution networks, and further considered the structure of distributed photovoltaic energy storage system according to different application needs. To maximize the economic aspect of configuring energy storage, in conjunction with the policy requirements for energy allocation and storage in various regions, the paper clarified the methods for configuring distributed energy storage systems and summarized the commonly used algorithms for determining the location and capacity. Based on this, research suggestions were proposed. [Result] Proper configuration of energy storage should be based on clear demands, selecting the appropriate topology and offering a configuration plan that is optimized by comprehensively considering indicators such as power supply stability, security, and economic efficiency of the distribution network. [Conclusion] Distributed energy storage technology is the key aspect of the new distribution networks and an essential means to ensure the safe and stable operation of distribution networks. To harness its full potential, further research into its optimal configuration and related control technologies is necessary.

The varying carbon emission characteristics of distributed resources result in spatial-temporal differences in emission intensity at various nodes in the distribution networks. To effectively support low-carbon analysis and optimization in distribution networks as well as low-carbon accounting and trading at the user side， a model for electricity-carbon coupling in active distribution networks is built. Using load flow tracking， quantitative analysis and research on the carbon emission flow in active distribution networks is conducted， incorporating carbon emission costs into the economic costs of the distribution system. Aiming for the minimum total economic cost of the power system， simulation analysis is carried out using the IEEE 33-node test case， validating the feasibility and efficacy of the proposed method.

The nucleotide binding oligomerization domain containing 2 (NOD2) protein and its ligand N-acetyl muramyl dipeptide (MDP) are crucially involved in Crohn’s disease (CD). However, the mechanism by which NOD2 signaling is regulated in CD patients remains unclear. Ubiquitin specific protease (USP14) is a deubiquitylase that plays an important role in immunity. This study aimed to investigate the mechanism by which UPS14 regulates NOD2 induced inflammatory response in CD and inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). Our results showed that USP14 protein and mRNA levels in intestinal tissues of CD patients were significantly higher than those in healthy controls. In addition, USP14 was upregulated in IBD mouse model. While treatment with MDP, TNF-α or the Toll-like receptor 1/2 agonist Pam3CSK4 all led to significantly higher mRNA levels of TNF-α, IL-8 and IL-1β in THP-1 cells, pretreatment with USP14 inhibitor IU1 could stimulate further upregulation of TNF-α, IL-8 and IL-1β. In particular, MDP promoted the activation of JNK, ERK1/2 and p38 as well as NF-kB in THP-1 cells, and IU1 significantly enhanced the MDP-induced activation of these proteins without effects on USP14 protein level. Furthermore, the JNK inhibitor sp600125, ERK1/2 inhibitor U0126 or P38 MAPK inhibitor PD169316 significantly decreased the mRNA levels of TNF-α, IL-8 and IL-1β in THP-1 cells stimulated by both IU1 and MDP. In conclusion, our findings suggest that USP14 could inhibit MDP-induced activation of MAPK signaling and the inflammation response involved in IBD, and that USP14 is a potential therapeutic target for IBD.

Background: To investigate the relationship between lactate dehydrogenase and apolipoprotein A1 levels and the condition and prognosis of patients with severe pneumonia. Methods: Data was collected from 204 patients with severe pneumonia who were hospitalized from January 1, 2019 to December 1, 2021 in Zhaotong First People's Hospital (respiratory intensive care unit (RICU)), and divided into survival group (160 patients) and death group (44 patients) according to their hospitalization outcome. The relationship between lactate dehydrogenase and apolipoprotein A1 levels and general information, disease, and treatment needs of patients with severe pneumonia was analyzed, and lactate dehydrogenase, apolipoprotein A1, neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio, hematocrit, C-reactive protein, calcitoninogen, D-dimer, Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Status Rating System II, and Pneumonia Severity Index scores were compared between the survival and death groups. The value of these indicators in determining the prognosis of patients was analyzed using subject operating characteristic (ROC) curves. Logistic regression was used to analyze the risk factors for death from severe pneumonia. Results: The age and pneumonia type differed significantly between the two groups (P0.05). LDH (Lactate Dehydrogenase) and ApoA1 (Apolipoprotein A1) levels showed significant differences among different age groups with severe pneumonia (P0.05). LDH and ApoA1 levels were higher in severe pneumonia patients with acute exacerbation or MODS (multiple organ dysfunction syndrome), compared to those without (P0.05). Background: This study aims to investigate the correlation between serum levels of interleukin-2 (IL-2) and interferong (IFN-g) and the clinical prognosis of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). Additionally, the study aims to analyse the risk factors associated with this correlation. Methods: The clinical data of 195 NPC patients admitted to our hospital from October 2020 to October 2022 were selected for a retrospective study. Based on the Glasgow score, patients were divided into two groups: the good prognosis group (group g), consisting of patients who scored 0 points, and the poor prognosis group (group p), consisting of patients who scored 1-2 points. The levels of serum IL-2 and IFN-g were compared between the two groups, and the clinical values of serum IL-2 and IFN-g in the prognosis of patients were analysed. The clinical parameters of the patients were collected, and the risk factors affecting the prognosis of NPC were analysed by univariate and multivariate logistic regression. Introduction This study aimed to assess the causal relationship between diabetes and frozen shoulder by investigating the target proteins associated with diabetes and frozen shoulder in the human plasma proteome through Mendelian randomization (MR) and to reveal the corresponding pathological mechanisms.Research design and methods We employed the MR approach for the purposes of establishing: (1) the causal link between diabetes and frozen shoulder; (2) the plasma causal proteins associated with frozen shoulder; (3) the plasma target proteins associated with diabetes; and (4) the causal relationship between diabetes target proteins and frozen shoulder causal proteins. One outcrop of the NE–SW-trending fault with a steep occurrence and grown gouge was discovered in the north segment of the Tangshan fault zone during a field survey near Jujialing village on the Kaiping-Guye boundary of Hebei province, North China. This zone has received less attention in seismic geologic surveys. In addition, three neighboring and parallel NE trending scarps with heights in the range of 1–1.5 m were discovered on the generally flat terrain close to the fault outcrop. The geochemical and multi-electrode resistivity surveys revealed sudden huge fluctuations in the Hg concentration within short distances from the fault outcrop and the three surface scarps. The multi-electrode resistivity survey also revealed a resistivity structure with extreme horizontal discontinuity, indicating the presence of a subsurface fault zone with a width of 40–50 m and a SE dip. This finding confirmed that the three surface NE trending scarps were late Quaternary fault scarps. Following an examination of the focal mechanism solutions and survey findings, it is suggested that the newly detected fault trending toward the northeast could be an unexplored branch fault in the flower structure of the northern section of the Tangshan fault zone. It is marked by recent activity that is mainly controlled by the right-lateral strike-slip. The discovery of this active fault is critical for an accurate assessment of the seismic hazard of north segment of the Tangshan fault zone.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease that significantly impacts quality of life by disrupting CD4+ T cell immune homeostasis. The identification of a low-side-effect drug for RA treatment is urgently needed. Our previous study suggests that Trichinella spiralis paramyosin (Ts-Pmy) has immunomodulatory effects, but its potential effect on CD4+ T cell response in RA remains unclear. In this study, we used a murine model to investigate the role of rTs-Pmy in regulating CD4+ T cell differentiation in collagen-induced arthritis (CIA). Additionally, we assessed the impact of rTs-Pmy on CD4+ T cell differentiation towards the Th1 and Th17 phenotypes, which are associated with inflammatory responses in arthritis, using in vitro assays. The results demonstrated that rTs-Pmy administration reduced arthritis severity by inhibiting Th1 and Th17 response while enhancing Treg response. Prophylactic administration of Ts-Pmy showed superior efficacy on CIA compared to therapeutic administration. Furthermore, in vitro assays demonstrated that rTs-Pmy could inhibit the differentiation of CD4+ T cells into Th1 and Th17 while inducing the production of Tregs, suggesting a potential mechanism underlying its therapeutic effects. This study suggests that Ts-Pmy may ameliorate CIA by restoring the immune balance of CD4+ T cells and provides new insights into the mechanism through which helminth-derived proteins exert their effects on autoimmune diseases.

Protein ubiquitination is an enzymatic cascade reaction and serves as an important protein post-translational modification (PTM) that is involved in the vast majority of cellular life activities. The key enzyme in the ubiquitination process is E3 ubiquitin ligase (E3), which catalyzes the binding of ubiquitin (Ub) to the protein substrate and influences substrate specificity. In recent years, the relationship between the subfamily of neuron-expressed developmental downregulation 4 (NEDD4), which belongs to the E3 ligase system, and digestive diseases has drawn widespread attention. Numerous studies have shown that NEDD4 and NEDD4L of the NEDD4 family can regulate the digestive function, as well as a series of related physiological and pathological processes, by controlling the subsequent degradation of proteins such as PTEN, c-Myc, and P21, along with substrate ubiquitination. In this article, we reviewed the appropriate functions of NEDD4 and NEDD4L in digestive diseases including cell proliferation, invasion, metastasis, chemotherapeutic drug resistance, and multiple signaling pathways, based on the currently available research evidence for the purpose of providing new ideas for the prevention and treatment of digestive diseases.

In order to obtain the overlying strata structure and the stress transfer law of floor under the influence of section coal pillar after the upper protective layer is fully mined, the rational arch axis equation is deduced based on the three-hinged inclined arch theory. The stress distribution of coal pillar floor with different widths is simulated numerically. Based on two methods of three-hinged inclined arch and elastic mechanics theory, the analytic solution of stress distribution of bottom plate of protective layer is obtained and verified by field measurement. The results show that the shape parameters of three-hinged inclined arch are dynamically correlated with the width of retained coal pillar, the mining height of coal seam and the pressure relief width of goaf. When the width of coal pillar is larger than 15 m, the additional stress caused by three-hinged inclined arch structure will occur in the re-compacted area of goaf floor, and the extreme stress point will move to the center of goaf with the increase of coal pillar width. The field test shows that the stoping roadway of protected layer should be arranged in the wrong way, and the reasonable wrong distance is 10-20 m.

Steamed bread is one of the traditional Chinese staple foods. With the increasing in the proportion of mechanized production and market-oriented sales of steamed bread, the steamed bread industry has been developing rapidly. Under the production conditions of industrial steamed bread, the characteristics of wheat varieties and their corresponding flour suitability for making steamed bread, especially the stability of flour, could significantly affect the product quality, consumption experience and economic benefits of industrialized steamed bread. In this study, the physical and chemical properties of flours from wheat varieties with larger planting area and stronger representatives in southwest Henan were analyzed for the suitability of steamed bread, and the relationships between flour and steamed bread quality properties were also studied. The results showed that the wet gluten content of wheat flour in southwest Henan was high, but the gluten index needed to be improved. The proportion of strong-gluten wheat variety also needed to be improved. The values of flour color a* b *, gluten index, the dough softening by Farinograph, the area by Extensograph and the extensibility (L) by Alveograph are important reference indicators for evaluating the quality of flour for steamed bread. The wheat varieties of Zhengmai 119, Pingmai 998, Shaanxi Road 198, Zhengmai 1342, and Zhengmai 1860 are more suitable for making steamed breads.

Through the chain operation of the catering for the Lanzhou ramen noodles (hand-extended noodles) traditional noodle products become a model for brand management and a sample of product-driven catering industrial development. In the process of Lanzhou ramen chain operation, the supply of wheat flour suitable for making Lanzhou ramen and flour standardization are one of the main problems affecting business benefit and product quality. Milling companies need wheat ingredients and flour standards for making Lanzhou ramen. Flours of wheat varieties mainly cultivated in Guanzhong Plain were used as raw materials, the ramen was made by professional ramen masters. The ramen were evaluated by full-time food sensory evaluators, so wheat flour suitable for making Lanzhou ramen is screened out to provide a reference basis for the formulation of ramen standards. The results showed that in the sensory evaluation of ramen making process, the ramen master was more sensitive to “Extending force”, followed by “Degree of mixing and hardness of dough”. The wheat varieties of Xinong 583, Zhengmai 366, Weilong 169, Xinong 822, Bainong 207 and Zhongmai 578 as samples were more suitable for making Lanzhou ramen. It was found that the total sensory evaluation score of the ramen making process was closely related to the Alveograph parameters, while the total sensory evaluation score of the ramen product after cooking was closely related to the Extensograph parameters.

Colon cancer is a common malignant tumor. However, its pathogenesis still needs further study. In this study, we explored the role of nucleosome assembly protein 1-like 1 (NAP1L1) in colon cancer and its underlying mechanism. Based on analysis of The Cancer Genome Atlas data, we found that NAP1L1 is augmented in colorectal cancer, and the elevated NAP1L1 expression is associated with a poor prognosis in patients with colon cancer. Immunohistochemistry staining results showed that upregulated NAP1L1 protein level is an unfavorable factor that stimulates colon cancer progression. To further investigate the role of NAP1L1 in colon cancer, we established a colon cancer cell line with NAP1L1 knockdown, and found that repressing NAP1L1 expression in colon cancer cells markedly reduces cell proliferation in vivo and in vitro by MTT assay, colony formation, EdU incorporation, and subcutaneous tumorigenesis in nude mice. Furthermore, we found that NAP1L1 binds to HDGF, recruits DDX5, and induces β-catenin/CCND1 signaling, which promotes colon cancer cell proliferation. Finally, transfection with HDGF or DDX5 restores cell growth in NAP1L1-knockdown colon cancer cells by upregulating DDX5/β-catenin/CCND1 signaling. Our study demonstrates that NAP1L1 functions as a potential oncogene that promotes colon cancer tumorigenesis by binding to HDGF, which stimulates DDX5/β-catenin/CCND1 signaling.

Objective To study the demographic and clinical characteristics, correlation of genotype and phenotype and treatment of Blau syndrome to facilitate early diagnosis and timely treatment of Blau syndrome. Methods Seventy-two patients with Blau syndrome from 11 centers from May 2006 to April 2022 were retrospectively analyzed, and their general information, clinical data, laboratory examination and treatment medication were collected. Results The distribution of patients with Blau syndrome was uniform in geographical north and south of China, and there was no obvious gender bias. The mean age of onset was (14.30±12.81) months, and the age of diagnosis was (55.18±36.22) months. 35% of patients with Blau syndrome happened before 1 year old, and all patients developed before 5 years old. 87.50% (63/72) had granulomatous arthritis, 65.28% (47/72) had rash, 36.11% (26/72) had ocular involvement, 27.78% (20/72) had fever, and 15.28% (11/72) had pulmonary involvement. Arthritic manifestations of Blau syndrome were most at risk, followed by rash, ocular involvement, and fever.The first 25 months of the disease, the risk of developing a rash was the greatest. The risk of developing arthritis was the greatest between 25 months and 84 months. The main mutations were p.R334Q and p.R334W, and patients with p.R334Q mutation had relatively high incidence of fever (35.71%[5/14] vs. 14.29%[1/7], P=0.43) and ocular involvement (42.86%[6/14]vs. 28.57%[2/7], P=0.51). There was a relatively high incidence of rash (85.71%[6/7] vs. 64.29%[9/14], P=0.59) in patients with the p.R334W mutation. Forty-five patients(62.50%)were treated with a combina-tion of glucocorticoid and methotrexate. Twenty-two patients were treated with tumor necrosis factor antagonist in addition to glucocorticoid and methotrexate. Conclusions The risk of different clinical manifestations of Blau syndrome from high to low was arthritis, followed by rash, ocular involvement and fever. The main treatment was glucocorticoid combined with methotrexate, to which biological agents could be added.

Corn grits were treated with 0.2% sulphurous acid solution. The purpose of this treatment is to protect pure bacteria (yeast, Lactobacillus) from fermentation. Based on the single factor test, the fermentation technique of instant corn noodle was optimized by orthogonal design. The optimum technological parameters were obtained as follows: 0.2% yeast, plus 0.1% lactobacillus bulgaricus, with fermentation time 78 hours, fermentation particle size 8 mm, and fermentation temperature 30 ℃. The product of fermentation was optimized as follows: 3.5% pregelatinized starch with 0.30% sodium hexametaphosphate, 1.0% xanthan gum, and 3% sunflower seed edible oil. The fermentation had the best comprehensive effect on the instant corn noodle with the broken strip rate of 4.5% and cooking loss rate of 4.5%. Through the mechanical hot extrusion of fermented dough, the broken rate of vermicelli was the lowest, which was 4.3%, and the sensory quality score reached 96.6%. The room temperature storage period of vacuum packaging is 14 days, and the cold storage period is 60 days.

Although plenty of evidences from preclinical studies have led to potential treatments for patients with spinal cord injury (SCI), the failure to translate promising preclinical findings into clinical advances has long puzzled researchers. Thus, a more reliable combination of anatomical assessment and behavioral testing is urgently needed to improve the translational worth of preclinical studies. To address this issue, the present study was designed to relate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-based anatomical assessment to behavioral outcome in a rat contusion model. Rats underwent contusion with three different heights to simulate various severities of SCI, and their locomotive functions were evaluated by the grid-walking test, Louisville swim scale (LSS), especially catwalk gait analysis system and basic testing, and Basso, Beattie, Bresnahan (BBB) score. The results showed that the lesion area (LA) is a better indicator for damage assessment compared with other parameters in sagittal T2-weighted MRI (T2WI). Although two samples are marked as outliers by the box plot analysis, LA correlated closely with all of the behavioral testing without ceiling effect and floor effect. Moreover, with a moderate severity of SCI in a contusion height of 25 mm, the smaller the LA of the spinal cord measured on sagittal T2WI the better the functional performance, the smaller the cavity region and glial scar, the more spared the myelin, the higher the volatility, and the thicker the bladder wall. We found that LA significantly related with behavior outcomes, which indicated that LA could be a proxy of damage assessment. The combination of sagittal T2WI and four types of behavioral testing can be used as a reliable scheme to evaluate the prognosis for preclinical studies of SCI.

The interaction between extracellular matrix (ECM) and epithelial cells plays a key role in lung development. Our studies found that mice with conditional integrin β4 (ITGB4) knockout presented lung dysplasia and increased stiffness of lung tissues. In accordance with our previous studies regarding the functions of ITGB4 in bronchial epithelial cells (BECs), we hypothesize that the decreased ITGB4 expression during embryonic stage leads to abnormal ECM remodeling and increased tissue stiffness, thus impairing BECs motility and compromising lung development. In this study, we examined lung tissue stiffness in normal and ITGB4 deficiency mice using Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), and demonstrated that ITGB4 deficiency resulted in increased lung tissue stiffness. The examination of ECM components collagen, elastin, and lysyl oxidase (LOX) family showed that the expression of type VI collagen, elastin and LOXL4 were significantly elevated in the ITGB4-deficiency mice, compared with those in normal groups. Airway epithelial cell migration and proliferation capacities on normal and stiff substrates were evaluated through video-microscopy and flow cytometry. The morphology of the cytoskeleton was detected by laser confocal microscopy, and RhoA activities were determined by fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) microscopy. The results showed that migration and proliferation of ITGB4 deficiency cells were noticeably inhibited, along decreased cytoskeleton stabilization, and hampered RhoA activity, especially for cells cultured on the stiff substrate. These results suggest that decreased ITGB4 expression results in increased lung tissue stiffness and impairs the adaptation of bronchial epithelial cells to substrate stiffness, which may be related to the occurrence of broncho pulmonary dysplasia.

As a new member of saturable absorber (SA), molybdenum carbide (Mo2C) has some excellent optical properties. Herein, we report a new type of Mo2C/fluorine mica (FM) SA device. Uniform and compact Mo2C films were deposited on the FM by magnetron sputtering method. In order to increase the laser damage threshold, an additional protective layer of silicon oxide was deposited on the Mo2C. The FM is a single-layer structure of 20 μm, and its high elasticity makes it not easy to fracture. The transmission rate of FM is as high as 90% at near infrared wavelength. FM has better heat dissipation and softening temperature than organic composite materials, so it can withstand higher laser power without being damaged. In this work, Mo2C/FM SA was cut into small pieces and inserted into erbium-doped fiber laser to achieve mode-locked operation. The pulse duration and average output power of the laser pulses were 313 fs and 64.74 mW, respectively. In addition, a 12th-order sub-picosecond harmonic mode-locking was generated. The maximum repetition rate was 321.6 MHz and the shortest pulse duration was 338 fs. The experimental results show that Mo2C/FM SA is a broadband nonlinear optical mode-locker with excellent performance.

Objective To analyze the decreasing amplitude of left ventricular outflow tract gradient(LVOTG) and its influencing factors after alcohol septal ablation(ASA) in treatment of hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy(HOCM). Methods A total of 58 HOCM patients treated by ASA in our hospital from August 2011 to August 2019 were recruited in this study. The changes of echocardiography before and after ASA(a median follow-up period of 34 d) were compared to evaluate the decreasing amplitude of LVOTG after surgery. According to whether the LVOTG was decreased by 50%, the patients were divided into the significant LVOTG decline group(LVOTG decline ≥50%) and the non-significant decline group(LVOTG decline < 50%). The clinical data were compared between the 2 groups. The independent influential factors of significant LVOTG decline were analyzed, and receiver operation characteristic(ROC) curve analysis was also performed for the influencing factors. Results The LVOTG of the 58 patients was decreased from 90.77±33.38 mmHg preoperatively to 46.13±39.31 mmHg(P < 0.05). The interventricular septum thickness, left atrial diameter, mitral regurgitation area and systolic anterior motion were all significantly reduced after surgery (P < 0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis indicated that alcohol dose(OR=3.222, 95%CI: 1.345~7.717, P=0.009) was an independent influencing factor of significant LVOTG decline in short term, with the area under curve(AUC) of 0.707(95%CI: 0.573~0.841, P=0.009). Conclusion ASA can effectively reduce LVOTG in HOCM patients. And the higher the alcohol dose is, the more significant the decreasing amplitude is.

The design of highly active photocatalysts for degradation of phenol can be particularly challenging for solar energy utilisation. Herein, a series of mesoporousLaCo1−xCexO3catalysts have been synthesised and studied for degradation of phenol under UV irradiation. Compared with LaCoO3-SG catalyst which is formed through sol-gel method, optimised LaCo1−xCexO3-NC prepared by nanocasting method showed remarkably higher activity for the degradation of phenol due to the higher specific surface area, and the order of degradation rates is LaCo0.85Ce0.15O3-NC > LaCoO3-NC > LaCoO3-SG. Moreover, Au/LaCo1−xCexO3 catalysts were synthesized via Au deposition–precipitation method, and the catalytic activity for photodegradation of phenol increased with the loading of Au on the support.

This study aims to investigate the effect of rosuvastatin on sympathetic neural remodeling of the left atrium (LA) in rats after myocardial infarction (MI).

This study investigated the feasibility of distance protection in extra-high voltage (EHV) networks. In long-distance transmission lines, the distributed parameter characteristic of the EHV network is obvious. When a fault occurs far away from the measurement site, the measured impedance might not be directly proportional to the fault distance, and the protection domain of distance protection will be decreased. The detailed theory inferred and proven in this paper reveals that this phenomenon is widespread in EHV transmission lines. The results indicate that the protection domain error is greatly reduced by the application of the shunt reactor. Overall, simulation results show that the proposed method is effective for impedance relay, considering different characteristics, different lengths of lines, and compensation degrees. COVID-19 is spreading exponentially. In order to optimize medical resources allocation and reduce mortality, biomarkers are needed to differentiate between COVID-19 patients with or without severe diseases early as possible. We searched Ovid MEDLINE(R), Ovid EMBASE, CNKI, Wanfang, VIP databases, the Cochrane Library, and medRxiv for primary articles in English or Chinese up to March 30, 2020 to systematically evaluate the risk factors for severe patients in China. Mean difference or standardize mean difference and odds ratio with 95% confidence intervals were performed by random-effect or fixed models in cases of significant heterogeneity between studies. We used I 2 to evaluate the magnitude of heterogeneity. A total of 54 articles involving about 7000 patients were eligible for this meta-analysis. In total, 52 of 67 parameters between severe and non-severe cases were significantly different. Elderly male patients with comorbidities including hypertension, diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) cardiovascular disease, cerebrovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, or cancer were more common in severe COVID-19 patients. Regarding the clinical manifestations on admission, fever, cough, expectoration, dyspnea, chest distress, fatigue, headache, chills, anorexia, or abdominal pain were more prevalent in severe COVID-19 patients. The results of the clinical examination showed that high C-reactive protein (CRP), high lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), high D-dimer, and decreased T lymphocytes cells subsets, decreased lymphocyte may help clinicians predict the progression of severe illness in patients with COVID-19. Our findings will be conducive for clinician to stratify the COVID-19 patients to reduce mortality under the relative shortage of medical resources.

Hepatitis A virus (HAV), a classic nonenveloped virus, has recently been found to be released mainly in the form of quasi-enveloped HAV (eHAV) by hijacking host endosomal sorting complexes required for transport (ESCRT) complexes. Unlike the nonenveloped virion, eHAV contains the viral protein pX on the surface of the HAV capsid as an extension of VP1. How HAV capsids acquire the host envelope and whether the pX protein is involved in this process were previously unknown. Here, we analyse the role of pX in foreign protein secretion in exosome-like extracellular vesicles (EVs) and the formation of eHAV. Fusion of pX to eGFP guided eGFP into exosome-like EVs through directing eGFP into multivesicular bodies (MVBs), and apoptosis-linked gene 2-interacting protein X (ALIX) release was significantly enhanced. Coimmunoprecipitation (co-IP) demonstrated the interaction between pX and the ALIX V domain. Removal of the C-terminal half of pX abolished eHAV release and reduced the interaction between the HAV virion and ALIX. Finally, the C-terminal half of pX alone was sufficient for loading eGFP into EVs by interacting with ALIX. In conclusion, the C-terminal part of pX is important for eHAV production and may have potential for large protein complex loading into exosome-like EVs for therapeutic purposes.

The effect of fouling organisms adhesion on the formation of calcareous deposits in the ocean environment was simulated by immersion test. The corrosion morphologies, the calcareous deposits composition, the corrosion kinetics of Q235 steel and fouling organisms adhesion were investigated by the methods of SEM, EDS, EIS, mass loss method and fluorescence microscope observation. The results show that the electrochemical impedance modulus value and capacitive reactance arc of the samples of forming calcareous deposits after fouling organisms adhesion are greater than the bare steel samples, but it is less than the samples of forming calcareous deposits without fouling organisms adhesion. The results show that fouling organisms adhesion can inhibit the formation of calcareous deposits and cause calcareous deposits to protect metal performance degradation. The Ca/Mg ratio of same sample gradually decreases with the increase of experimental periods, and this shows that the ability of large fouling organisms to inhibit the formation of calcareous deposits is stronger.Mass loss experiments show that large fouling organisms can inhibit local corrosion.

Chronic recurrent parotitis (CRP) is a non⁃obstructive parotid inflammation in young children or adults,generally associated with recurrent and intermittent swelling of parotid gland, while children are more susceptible. The etiology of this disease is not clear, clinical manifestations are similar to other diseases, and the effective prevention and control measures are lack currently. This paper reviewed the research progress of the etiology of CRP in recent years, and summarized the role of sialography, ultrasonography and sialoendoscopy in diagnosis and treatment, and summa⁃ rized the main points of diagnosis and differential diagnosis of CRP in children and adults. The relationship and identifi⁃ cation of two kinds of CRP and clinically confusing Sjǒgren's syndrome were analyzed.

The DC fault protection is one of the main issues in multi-terminal voltage source converter based high-voltage direct current (VSC–MTDC) transmission systems. In this study, a DC short-circuit fault ride-through method for full-bridge modular multi-level converter (FB-MMC) based MTDC systems is proposed. First, the model of the FB-MMC topology is analysed. Then, the principle of fault current clearing in full-bridge sub-module (FB-SM) is introduced. The converter protection control strategy and the system protection scheme are proposed, benefitting from the capability of quick fault current elimination with the valves blocked using the FB-MMC topology. With this method, the MTDC system could restart quickly after clearance of DC fault without cutting off the AC grid. The proposed protection strategy is demonstrated using the simulation model in PSCAD/EMTDC. Simulation results verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the strategy.

Building facades have evident effects on indoor thermal comfort. Hence, on the basis of a multifunctional residential building in Sydney, Australia, this research uses DesignBuilder software to optimize passive system design on building facades. This research also analyses the influences of changing window glazing type, adding additional shading devices and changing the material of the exterior wall on indoor thermal comfort. Results show that the number of uncomfortable hours can be reduced by 446, 186 and 874 hours by using a double-layer Low-E glass, adding extra shading device and adopting an external wall material with low thermal conductivity, respectively. When the three aforementioned passive design strategies are combined, indoor thermal environment discomfort time can be reduced by 24%. Therefore, the indoor thermal comfort of a building can be considerably improved through effective passive designs of the building facade.
